Very nice footage ive owned 54 bikes just purchased same bike today 2023 klx230s 12-16-23 i was suprised how easy it went through them trails im selling my cb500x just to top heavy thanks for showing us what its capable of by the way looks like your having way to much fun

I've been getting the itch for a smaller dual-sport to toss in a truck bed and take on camping trips and such. I've considered everything from DR650s to Trail 125s, but everything keeps bringing me back to the 230. Just seems like such a great fun-per-dollar bike.

Great video! The Ktm Freeride E-XC is wicked. The advancement of electric bike are cool and have decent range, however, nothing beats the sound of the bike when riding. Safe riding. Nice bike as well. looking into getting a KLX 230 myself. I love my dirt bike but I want to hit the open road to explore random trails.

Really enjoyed your video, the bike sounds good, but I really enjoyed the music and trail. Awesome riding, the Kendas seem to work good in the mud, I wonder how well they do in sand? FL is mostly sand and roots with the occasional muck hole thrown in for fun.

Thanks, I picked up a 300R a few months ago and did the DS conversion. I am really happy with it, the power difference is noticeable.
Been awhile since in the dirt, no matter, little has changed, will only ride "damp" not wet, warm but not hot, and when possible, cloudy days. Sun hurts me eye's!
check the handle bar brackets by pulling up and down before every ride mine lost one becouse of vibrations off road . lucky for me i was in town riding slow handle bar almost came off . now i check before i ride make sure they are tight . i ride in so az only in winter . air cooled to hot in summer . i got it for the abs . wating for klx 300 to have abs but not yet 3 years waiting to trade the 230 for water cooled 300 with abs?.

I went with the stock sizes 80/100-21 Front and 100/100-18 Rear

I had to look at the raw video to see what i did. I got stuck trying to go over the root to the right, so i backed up and walked it over the root to the left. The one on the left looks much more manageable.
Do you still have the KLX230? What are your thoughts now about it? I'm looking at downsizing from a DRZ400S to the KLX230 so I can ride with my kids easier. Looks like this thing can do MORE than I usually ride. Thoughts?
I still really like this bike, it is very capable off road and does great up to about 65-70 on road. I recently gave the 230 to my son who just turned 15 and picked up a KLX300R and did a dual sport conversion on it, i am extremely happy with both bikes.
Do you have problem with the Abs stop system.?-! Is possible to select On and Off abs.?
The ABS is really light, not very noticeable off road. The only way to disengage the ABS is pulling the fuse.
What orv park or trail are you at because I am near granite falls and this looks like a lot of fun
This spot was off North Carpenter Rd. It has, sadly, since been closed to all motor vehicles.

Its great offroad for the price. Its a little heavy compared to a dirt only bike, but its pretty good on the street too.
How do you find the track masters on the road, handle okay?…just noisy?
Ya, they are ok on the road. I wouldn't take any corners too deep, but they perform fine for how off road oriented they are
