Ich war in den 90ern mal bei Lauda Air in einer 767 im Cockpit beim Start. Das war eines der schönsten Erlebnisse meine Lebens, zumal es auch das erste mal im Cockpit überhaupt war. Ich weiß noch, dass die beiden österreichischen Piloten ganz locker ihre Hosen bis zu den Knien hochgekrempelt hatten, weil es so heiß war!
Tut mir ja Leid, wenn dir das als Antwort nicht reicht, aber mehr gibt es dazu wahrlich nicht zu sagen. Auch uns hätten die Piloten den Zugang verweigern können, logisch. Nach Anfrage des Condor-Pressesprechers waren wir aber eben vorne mit dabei. Und das find ich persönlich ziemlich klasse. :-)
Und jedes mal frage ich mich wie kann das funktionieren das man 400 Tonnen aluminum Treibstoff, Taschen und ca. 300 Menschen damit in die Luft bekommt!
What the hell's the Kuwait Airways jet in front of you? Looks like 4 low(ish) bypass engines - which is very strange for a modern bird - I don't recognize it, like a gigantic wide body version of a DC-8, but with winglets. Anybody?
I flew the 767 twice in 1 year. Both Flights were on a Delta service direct from Frankfurt/Cincinnati. Both were the best flights I had ever flown on.The room, to service, the ride were all incredible. I guess it was 4 flights as the were two round trips. After 15 years as a civil aircraft mechanic (structures) for the US Military. It was time to go. I still count these days I lived as the best ever, Germany was awesome. The 767 was a great sendoff. This was in 1990 and 91. Now it is old.

Immer super interessant zu sehen, wie möchte gern Piloten sich wichtig tun. Ich flieg zwar auch Simulator, aber ich habe immer noch den nötigen Respekt - das sind keine Anfänger, sondern Profis! Also mal schön die klappe halten - danke!
Wir sind auf dem Weg nach Rhodos gewesen... Und dass Condor durchaus auch mal mehr Verspätung haben kann, als einem lieb ist, stimmt wohl. Wir sind aber halbwegs pünktlich abgehoben. Nebenbei bemerkt: Das Kabinendesign bei Condor wird im Laufe der nächsten Monate runderneuert - zumindest in den Langstrecken-Fliegern.
klasse video. erinnert mich an meine landung in punta cana (dom rep) vor einigen jahren. ich musste dort geschäftl. öfters hin, da gab es selbst bei condor einen wiedererkenn wert. so fragte ich ob ich mal nach vorn darf, bei der landung was mir dann erlaubt wurde. es war ein einmaliges erlebniss :=))

I've just completed an album-length instrumental electronic piece of music, the theme of which is to do with Flight and Airport activity. Would it be possible to use some footage from your awesome video on an accompanying video that i would be using as background during live performances and maybe as part of a compilation on a youtube video? Love the video but was a bit shocked the pilot took off so soon after that other plane did. Not sure if he did so because it was a much smaller plane, but here in the US, as per FAA guidelines pilots must, and should wait nothing less than three minutes after the departure (and approach) of another plane in front to avoid wake turbulence. This is mainly with aircrafts that are classified as Heavy. Other than that, great video, I love seeing cockpit take offs. By the way, I didn't realize Frankfurt airport was that busy. It was nice to see planes intercepting for landing and take off all in one video.

Ivo Angioni man hört das nur nicht! Die Piloten haben Headsets auf und schon die leisesten Stimmen sind durch das Mikro für das Gegenüber gut zu hören!!
Cargo Flug oder warum solange dort am Stellplatz gewesen ? Nichts für ungut, aber beide Piloten haben gegen sämtliche flugrechtlichen Vorschriften verstoßen bei diesem Start und beim Rollen. Da ist das Fehlen von V1 und Rotate noch das kleinere Übel.
+Sebastian Opitz Auérdem siehst du beim Takeoff fast nichts von den Piloten. Das heißt du kannst, bist auf die Callouts, nicht sagen, gegen welche Vorschriften verstoßen wurden.

That is an Airbus A340. Kuwait Airways fly's -300's and -500's. I had to Google it to find out too...Hahaha.

Kein Cargo-Flug... Ganz normaler Charterflieger von Condor nach Griechenland.
