As a lover of musicals, this show tugs at all of my heartstrings and makes me cry almost every time I watch it. As a historian and lover of early Soviet history this show angers me to no end. Like it’s just glammed up propaganda but fuck is it good propaganda
I got gleb without a callback lol, theres barely anyguys in our theatre program. funny enough i auditioned for vlad and i got gleb, while the guy who auditioned for gleb got vlad

I saw the touring production and was a little disappointed. The Gleb didn't have the same charm and just came off awkward and cringey.
