- After 6 months of war in Gaza, medical services there have all but collapsed
The European Gaza Hospital in the city of Khan Younis is one of the last functioning medical facilities.
A British plastic surgeon, Dr Victoria Rose, has been recording conditions while working there, treating people with bullet wounds, burns and blast injuries. Many of them are young children.
Her video diary reveals the appalling conditions faced by patients and the medical staff treating them.

I met Dr Rose several times when I was a Brit working in retail in LA during 2002-2005. She stood out to me as one of the coolest women I've ever met and I never forgot her. Still one of the coolest. Love from London.

Before October 7, there were violations, arrests, and killings of Palestinians, so Hamas, a Palestinian resistance movement, came to respond to these insults.
But the Western media describes what happened as an attack and not a reaction to what the Netanyahu government has done since it took office.
It is hard to leave when you see many who need you .. i can feel her pains and the helpless.
Dr Rose’s face is just like Gaza, going from calm to tired to sorrow to utter despair in just a few days

"Democracy Now" has a video interview with 2 foreign doctors on their channel that spent 2 weeks at a hospital there, they said they been to many disasters around the world this is the worst horrors they've ever seen.

The word 'hero' is bandied around far too lightly these days. But the doctors volunteering from around the world to work in Palestine, knowing that the Israelis have no qualms at targeting either them, their patients or the whole hospital, really are heros. They bring relief and hope to a place that is buckling under the weight of evil targeting of civilians, whether through military violence or starvation. Let's hear more from the brave British doctors out there 💪💪❤️❤️
