- Tens of thousands of children are malnourished in Sudan, an international humanitarian organisation has said.
Doctors Without Borders warned that a "catastrophic hunger crisis" in the country is even worse than feared.
It found that one third of children were malnourished in displaced people's counts in Sudan's North Dafur's state - double the threshold for a malnutrition emergency.
A year of civil war has killed an estimated 14,000 people, displaced millions and forced thousands to flee to the neighbouring countries.

In the midst of this catastrophe, it should be reported on what mining operations are still quietly taking place, at what scale, and for which minerals, and who is carrying them out, and for whom, and at what price. The answers should explain why the catastrophic situation exists, and in whose interest it is being orchestrated, and by whom.

These are people in real need . Its always the children . it's heartbreaking . But I have to say why, oh, why do they have so many children they can not feed . They need aid, but they need birth control until they recover . I could never have a child if i was unable to feed them. Its never ending otherwise. They need resources to be able to grow food. They need clean water , they need medical supplies and clinical staf to help those suffering and aid recovery . They need hygeine products and cleaning products to stop the dysentery. GOD BLESS THEM ALL. Governments world wide need to stop putting money in to war efforts in other countries and do the right thing .
I'm a Ukrainian and I couldn't agree more! The USA and EU would better spent their millions to help those people from Sudan instead fueling the war in Ukraine or making the coup in 2014! The waring parties need to be held accountable for this humanitarian crisis. Stop the internal conflict, then there will be hope to restore the suffering of the people. No sound of aid will solve this catastrophe.. it’s a never ending cycle. Poor babies born into this will have poor chances of survival. 😢

After all these years of barely reading anything good I was usually just shutting down any type of media influence as much as I can but this brings back good lights and it should give hope to some of you that no matter what is going on in the world at the end something good comes to surface
