- Hollywood's out of ideas, movie theaters are charging us twice as much to see the same old plots and narratives, and the ideas of false scarcity and limited time are making the leisure time spent relaxing with our favorite TV shows and movies more stressful than ever. Who's going to stand up for the people who have had enough?
The Unqualified Experts, that's who.
Shane and Braden are getting some things off their chest as they rant about the problems manufactured by the entertainment industry on this week's episode. Do you agree, disagree, or have something new for us to consider? Let us know in the comments below!

Say what you will, but Avengers: Tax Day really brought the series together
When purchasing a game, I now compare it against dinner and a movie with my family as a cost comparison. The bar is pretty high with a family of six.
BRING BACK 5 FOR $5!!!!!
Here's some recommend ORIGINAL TV Shows that I've been watching: EVIL (Currently S2), Big Sky (Detective like TV Show), Lucifer, Star Trek Lower Decks (Futurama like vibe to it), MR. MAYOR (Comedy starring Ted Danson), This Is Us (Drama has a few seasons out already), Super Man and Lois (New view/take on Superman after he had kids it's actually not bad), B.Positive (New Comedy by same guy who did/directed Big Bang Theory), Cobra Kai (Based off 20 years later from The Karate Kid movie not fully "original" but a continuation which brings something fresh), for those into fantasy amazon will have The Wheel of Time based off Robert Jordens books this coming Nov, for those SciFi Buffs out there The Expanse (several seasons out) is also good and original, & 911 on Fox (couple seasons out) a face paced action show with events that follow a 911 call. There ya go, hope this eases the pain.
superman 13 lol...
If it takes more than 4-5 hours to tell a story on screen, maybe it should be a TV series instead of multiple movies.
I 100% agree. With the budgets that Amazon or HBO have, it's time to shift these types of stories to the right genres.
I would like to see Amazon/HBO/Netflix break the TV show hour time limit since you can pause it.
I enjoyed this week's episode.
Excellent, we're glad to hear it!
I hate to break the news to the Corrupt Overlord, but it seems like Arby's is advertising 2 for $7. I don't know if it'll be permanent, but it might be for a limited time.
I love superhero films, always will, but not the same ones, over, and over, and over - smh.....
Exactly! The first handful are really fun, but the seemingly endless parade of sequels...
@@AssortedMeeples indeed!!!
Where is my bk quad stack!!!!! Damn them!!!!
That was an amazing monster of a sandwich
It's satisfying to point out to the mouthy teenagers that "And I have better taste in women."
All of this is why I love watching anime. Although you see some rehashing of the same ideas (Lookin' at you, Isekai genre), there are enough fresh ideas and original stories to keep everything interesting.
Heck, there's more original content in the Isekai genre than there is in Hollywood
I have a hard time with the 5-10 minutes of recap at the start of every episode.
Most anime does not do this anymore. When they do I actively yell at the screen about it.
@@Bobfalk Glad we're not alone on that!
So there are some valid points here but there's a lot of flawed/uninformed points. Sadly, RUclips comment sections aren't really the place to expound and explain those points. I will however go into detail on the Discord! Overall good episode but expect my rebuttal by the end of the day.
We'd welcome the conversation both here and on the Patreon Discord!
Ummmm, rural limitations...
