      In Russia there is an oppinion, that Moscow isn't Russia. It seems like a joke, but it has rational root. Moscow is really richer then other cities and regions. You can watch videos about other Russian's cities and see the difference. One should compare Moscow with NY for example

      @@nikolajnikolaev1520 ну Вы правы, конечно. Но кроме Москвы есть ещё С-Пб, Екб, Казань, Тюмень, Краснодар и ещё куча отличных городов. Даже мой родной Рыбинск, в 90е превратившийся в облезлую дыру, сейчас сильно изменился.

    • @nikolajnikolaev1520
      @nikolajnikolaev1520 2 года назад

      @@СергейВладимиров-э5ъ Рыбинск - это всё же особый случай. Скорее исключение. Сравните с тем же соседним Черепом, например. Думаю, разница очевидна. Вам просто повезло, что Рыбинском управляют адекватные люди. Ещё так повезло Калининграду и области. Мб, ещё кому-то. Но это всё равно исключения.
      Вот возьмём Питер, который вы упомянули. Это наглядно и потому, что я тут живу, и потому, что это второй город страны. Тут нет достойного жилья массового сегмента. Совсем. Возьмите любой город-спутник: Мурино, Кудрово, Парнас, Шушары. Если не верите мне, что это гетто, посмотрите любой видос по теме. Всё массовое современное жильё в Питере - это ад. Да, есть премиальные дома с дворами без машин, нормальными внутренними дворами (как тут), но это доступно далеко не всем. Выбирая двушку в СПб за 6-7 лямов, например, вы скорее всего сможете купить недвижимость только тут. Да, есть неплохие ЖК ближе к центру. Например, Намыв на ВО. Но там вообще нет общественного транспорта, но есть куча машин и лютый ветер с Залива. Ближайшие лет 5 это гарантированно треш, а потом недвига там будет стоить уже совсем других денег. Единственная адекватная альтернатива сейчас - это свой небольшой дом где-нибудь в 20-30 минутах езды на машине от города

    Both of you do a great job of countering the stereotype views of what Russia is like. I live in Northwest Canada where the weather is comparable. The lifestyle is certainly different though. We have lots of theft, cars, bikes, atvs. That playground here would be totally vandalized within a year. We don't openly talk about church attendance unless you know the person well. Happy to see my favorite vloggers getting together. Wish you all a good and happy new year.

I just bought a place in WV and will eventually move there to be close to family. I want to one day to be able to invite you to my home one day, along with your beautiful wife. I love your dear Aunt and would enjoy a visit to the Ural Mountains where you are from. I learned from her to give my chickens snow in winter to keep them from thirst. I had a third Grand Mother. She was my Russian Babushka to me and my sister on the farm in the 1950s. We all were family and played with our neighbor cousins and listened to our Russian Aunts and Uncles. Never understood why we had to go to go through those stupid drills in school from nuclear attack from people just like us. Peace my Russian brother.

    My two favorite Russians!
    It's so fascinating how in some ways the average Russian has more freedom that the average American; e.g. crime and playground safety less of a concern in Russia.
    I suspect that the US generally has much stronger building codes; e.g. in most cities there are strict requirements for supplying parking spaces when you build new residential construction.
    Does your brain ever get twisted like mine does between Latin vs. Cyrillic? E.g. карате instead of karate, but then P for Parking, not П?
    I didn't realize that Russian has the word "picnic". My dictionary says English got it from German around 1750, and German got it from French.

Мы уже тут начали думать, что глобальное потепление действительно работает ;)

I just found a really good RUclips channel from Yakutia too though, & I saw in another channel lake Baikal and modified Ladas sliding in frozen lakes… I want to do all of this stuff. I miss my friends so much I only knew mama and babushka they had a deli and I never met the kids but I heard they used to go to one international location with babushka every year I doubt coronavirus stopped her she was so insistent on things being nice and working out. I told them that one day against every chance I would randomly run into them if I visit Moscow. I miss their deli they had good lyubitelskaya that was babushka’s favorite and I want to find a vegan variety in Moscow because I tried it and now I am hopelessly addicted to it because it was the best sosig I ever ate.

    Безопасность?! .........

      Well, in winter it's really warm inside the apartments, because of the heating system installed in every building. And outside, people just wear a lot of warm clothes.
      As to the food, you can imagine that the summer harvest (grain, vegetables, fruit etc) can be stored in various forms to survive the winter. That's been the practice of Russians and other northern people since forever they live in these territories. Those who were not able to plan ahead for a year, and make enough storage... well, they'd just die out.

      The food should be satisfying: proteins, fats, carbohydrates - meat, soups, bread, potatoes, poriges, pasta, lots of sweets.
      Good eat, warm clothes, active movements - and you will enjoy a lot of 'cold' winter activities and you'll hot sweat: plain skiing, mountain skiing, snowboarding, figure skating, racing skating, short track skating, hill sledge sliding of different sledge types (as ice sliders, snow sliders, air bag tor sliders, handlebar sliders), Canadian ice Hockey whith hockey puck, Russian ice Hockey (Bendy) whith hockey ball‼️

    Those prices tho are incredibly reasonable...I thought Moscow was super expensive. In Copenhagen residential areas outside of the city centre, a 700sq feet apartment like the one he describes would cost you ~ $350k and the one similar to his at around 10,000sq ft, half a million bucks easy

    • @kfedorov
      @kfedorov 2 года назад +8

      Yes and no. This price are only for new Moscow districts. Older one are about $3500-$4500 per m² and comes to about $6k on the edge with city center. Of course, we are talking about average buildings like on video. But average salary in Moscow is about $1.2k as I remember, but it's no median so a lot of people work for $800-900. But it's a great place to live. Modern technologies, great delivery services, wonderful districts, perfect subway system etc.

And later on in the video I did hear him talk about $1,2k salaries for white collar office jobs...dude, I really don't know how people survive on that??! That is like 1/3 of our minimum wage. Russians must be magical like their winters!
