I have a few bits of gear but I find that I get the most when I'm using a DAW. I've sold off some of my older stuff. Sometimes it just complicates things
Honestly I love hearing stories about pivotal career moments. Often times you don't even know its happening until you look back on it- and it's never stress free! Proud of you and love the work bro!
Appreciate the kind words! I did go with the 01's and am really loving them - I use a few different cameras but I shot this one on the R5 with mainly the RF 35mm 1.8 - thanks for watching 🤘
I'm surprised you only have 6k subs with 350 likes for such great content. I think this is a video that any musician from any niche could learn from. I'm a guitarist so the community is plagued by G.A.S lol. But I love my $300 first guitar more than I love my $3000 acoustic because at the end of the day, it all comes down to how effective instruments are as tools, and not decorations.
powerful and inspiring!!! you captivated me with this tale of the creative process being stripped down to the basics yet leading to this epic result. I love the juxtaposition of what you are doing in the video against the story of a dude with just a laptop. Also, the bed music under the video up to the reveal is hauntingly gorgeous. This video started my day today as it is morning where i am, and i am pumped to have started my day with ya!!!!
Yes! This song really represented the simplicity of good melody and songwriting - will forever be grateful for that experience as I truly learned so much from it. Always striving to inspire, glad I could start your morning on an enlightened note! 🎵🤘
It’s a ridiculously overpriced stand from K&M but it’s the only thing I could find and you have to buy two separate pieces which is insanity 🤯 Stand here: amzn.to/3YJwH8o Tabletop support here: amzn.to/3YZP2PV
This was a great video !!!..makes you question why we invest in all the crazy equipment that always needed. Sometimes you have to just go with and do the "thing"
Appreciate you watching, commenting and quoting! So beyond true, I will say the reason I love hardware is because it inspires me to be in the moment with whats in front of me but as you heard, it can all be done with just a DAW and some sounds
When you feature songs like in this vid, it’d be awesome if you also shared a link to the song on streaming platforms. Thanks to Shazam, plenty of people are now discovering new favorite artists from TV, film, and sync. You never know when you might get more fans (and streams) from a link in a RUclips video. 🎉
Yes, the gear and software is actually what keeps us from making good music, learning it, updating, fixing... Every piece of gear and software less is more time for music making. Paul Gilbert says: Every time you feel like a new piece of gear, learn a new melody instead. "
Couldn't agree more - I try to set specific days for updating and fixing things (wiring, routing, etc) and use the gear as it is in the moment when creating. Sometimes limitations create greater songwriting - thanks for watching!
@@matnetik that and certain plugins that just decide not to work or need updating which drags you down in the production moment. i guess thats also why it helps to have some outboard effects also. but always minimal pieces
@MorbidManoeuvres story of my life haha, exactly this which is why in the moment I use what works and avoid trying to fix things that don’t. There’s also so much out there it’s easy to find a different option. Totally agree on some external gear, even a simple reverb pedal can change an idea
The vocals are pretty heavily effected and distorted, most of the editors bring the vocal mix up in a sync placement and instruments down! Thanks for watching
No need to say sorry, it was team effort to write lyrics and the vocal melodies, but also the beat is what inspired those melodies so they kind of go hand and hand - thanks for tuning in and commenting 🙏
Hey thanks for watching, I absolutely use loops and samples, actually my Post Malone WOW remix I did for the NBA Playoffs started from a loop! I suppose what I meant was I wanted to do something more "me" than only using loops but the production is a combination of them. I love both hardware and software and they inspire me to create (and geek out turning knobs ha!) Appreciate your comment 🙏
Yeah loops are great for inspiration and re-sampling to create something unique - or even drop it in and build on top of it, that’s what they are there for!
Hey there! My goal with content is to inspire others to create. If my channels not your thing, no worries - there are tons of other channels out there. Either way I appreciate you watching, cheers! 🤘
With this it is clear that in music contacts matter more than expensive equipment
What an interesting perception of the video! Sounds like a good topic for another vide! Thanks for watching 🤘
Inspiring story! Thanks for sharing. 🙌
Appreciate you, happy I can share these moments and hope to help others create

Couldn't agree more, I had no clue that song would be what it is today, biggups fam! Appreciate the words
I'm loving the content! Did you get the barefoot footprint 01? Also, what camera and lens are you using for your videos? The quality is amazing!

What’s the stand you’re using for the Dave smith and udo synths

Yes! Love this idea, this song actually isn't on streaming but maybe it should be! Thanks for watching
Dope producing man ! 🤘
Thanks for the kind words!
I know the point of the video was not about gear but... who makes that desk. I've been looking for something like that for a long time
Haha great question, actually going to review this desk because it's insanely awesome - it's the Elite Studio Desk from AZ Studio Workstations
Very inspiring story dude ! Great track ! 👊
My guyyy, big thanks for tuning in and listening, always
Dope video bro!! Very inspiring!!! 🙏🏾💪🏾🔥🔥💯
BRUV - it's been a minute! Appreciate the words, let's catch up soon!

congratulations on the song. that's really dope. Inspiring story.
Appreciate your watching and commenting 🙏
THAT song is FIRE though
🙏 Appreciate you
Im hearing "build back better"
The vocals are pretty heavily effected and distorted, most of the editors bring the vocal mix up in a sync placement and instruments down! Thanks for watching
Sorry but it’s the lyrics that sell that beat
No need to say sorry, it was team effort to write lyrics and the vocal melodies, but also the beat is what inspired those melodies so they kind of go hand and hand - thanks for tuning in and commenting 🙏
Totally disagree! It's the music
This video wasn’t what I thought it was gonna be… disappointing
Always looking to improve! Out of curiosity, what did you think it would be? Thanks for the comment
you do need the gear ...I don't do loops.....this was a silly video
Hey thanks for watching, I absolutely use loops and samples, actually my Post Malone WOW remix I did for the NBA Playoffs started from a loop! I suppose what I meant was I wanted to do something more "me" than only using loops but the production is a combination of them.

I use loopcloud sometimes and have created some pretty decent tracks
Yeah loops are great for inspiration and re-sampling to create something unique - or even drop it in and build on top of it, that’s what they are there for!
Who cares?
I suppose some do and some don't, just here to share and inspire, appreciate you watching ✌️
And the producer stories we do not need.
