Fantastic video Lyn, full of very important information for the newbies like me !!! Thanks for sharing another amazing video 🤙Nice Sunday evening for you and Hans 🎅🌲🌵
Brilliant information big thanks. Sure cactus keepers have come across these situations. And a little help is always good 👍Good luck for Christmas and new year 🙏🏻
Yes, I've had black spots in the past for various reasons. Mostly cold spots when the greenhouse has got too cold for some. Also something worse. Bacterial rot ! After losing my little ceriformis X horrida hybrid, I've found that in Euphorbias, nothing can be done. Euphorbias have such a large vascular system that it travels quickly ! No matter if you think that cutting away affected branches will save it. It has already traveled, and the plant is doomed. I tried over and over taking cutting of what I thought was good ,soon got the black spots and died quickly!! Very scary!! I've also had this from injury also which of course can easily be saved. Neem oil has sometimes done it but I've been able to wash it off and proved just to be built up residue from the oil. No biggie. Thanks for showing all the possibilities of this!! Something everyone should know and how treat the causes! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, to across the emerald isle, have a wonderful day!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🌿🌷🌳🌻🪴🌸💐🌴🌱🌹🍀😃👍
The video was timed perfect because I am starting to see some black spot on my monkeys tail cactus . Lyn previously I've told that i have my cactus on a Southern facing terrace but unfortunately it seems to be western facing terrace is it still fine ? Or should I move them to few hours of open space and move them again to western facing terrace when the sun is too harsh ? And lastly I have some baby cactus and some young cactus which is 1 to 2 year old and mostly every cactus was not matured, should I still overwinter them ? Are they ready to get overwintered ? Thank you for your wonderful time lyn ❤🫂 you've been doing a tremendous help to me with my cactus growing journey 🌵💝🎉
Can fungal attacks be round tan dots? I just got an older echinopsis from a friend and it had tan spots all over it. I treated it with a fungicide but not sure what it is.
