HI, i struggle to figure out why ebay and etsy sellers sell their items for a profit of 20p, ive done the math, and its silly, one of your videos said to not compete with the race to the bottom and i took that onboard and i sell items using professional grade vinyl at my price and i get sales so all is good, im gradually doing larger items now, do my first truck signage tomorrow which is 10ft, im a bit nervous as i dont want to mess it up as its its been a lot of work the hardest part was getting the vinyl to not drift when cutting but i got it done, your videos have helped no end so it should be straight foward. Thanks for your content i love it.
Thank you and Yhea we made many mistakes in the beginning too and now we focus on what works but that is how we all get wish you the best on your business 😃
Yeh i sell decals on both ebay and etsy and i sell better on ebay. some sellers in my niche basically give away their decals since their priced so low. I have a minumum in mind (hr wage) or so and it works out. dont give away your work, have a minimum and stick to it. get a store and ebay gives you the info on what sells and is being sold. Keep grinding.
You didn’t count your own salary, which is not a profit. If you are actually doing a job, you have to deduct your salary from the profit too. Profit is the amount of money your company makes after the deduction of all expenses, including your own salary. Not counting your own time and your own compensation is the biggest mistake entrepreneurs do when they calculate profitability.
Depends on what you want to do, with cameo 4 you can make tshirts, small decals and medium size decals now if you want to do car decals like we do you will need a faster and bigger machine like the uscutter titan or Graphtec ce7000-60 or bigger if you can but over all the cameo 4 in our experience is a good machine for the price

Well for us when we raise the prices in our products the bad ones go them selves because they are “cheap”
