I agree totally about the All Clad ... I purchased a set of All Clad over 30 years ago and have added some to it over the years. I know it will last the rest of my life and probably the life of my daughter after me. I would like to add that for those who do not have the $$ or want to spend the $$ for the enameled cast iron brands you mention, I have enameled cast iron from Lodge and it has held up wonderfully at less than half the price of the others. I also love my regular cast iron ... my favorite piece being a skillet that belonged to my mother and is over 70 years old now. It's a joy to cook with.
You have taught me a great deal on loving cooking, and I gave away all my non stick pans and invested in all the steel clad and Le Creuset pots too! I am now looking at buying pure cast iron for frying etc.. Thank you for your videos, your passion and your wisdom.
My sister has all clad and with that straight side they are so hard to pour out of. I have had cuisinart stainless pans that I bought individually - all at one time when I got married. Bought 1.5qt upto 12qt stockpot all w lids and they have held up amazingly well. No warping - nothing and they are really well balanced and the curved lip makes life so much easier to pour out everything from chai to browned meats or stews. They are also about half the cost. My 2 cents after using both brands. Love your channel

Lisa, Thanks for a great review! My All-Clad is 20 years old "LTD" and some newer SS. I collected special pieces they no longer make such as the windsor pan. I love my collection of Staub for when as a New Mexican, cook red or green chile dishes! My plain CI dates from the 1800's and for ward, including new Lodge black lock- and Lodge did let me know on of my older Lodge is a black lock foundry era pan...Love your recipes as well.
My rule is NO NON-STICK COOKWARE. People have just gotten lazier. Why take the risk? Thanks for that round up. I just found your channel and love the vibe and very high quality production values in your videos.
After going through several sets of nonstick cookware in my lifetime, I finally bit the bullet and invested (and it IS an investment) in Demeyere Industry series stainless cookware and love it. I also have several pieces of Le Creuset for stews, big pots of beans and roasting. I've got the original Corningware PYROCERAM (not all CW are pyroceram) pieces, which are great for casseroles and side dishes, but I don't have any bakeware. What do you use to bake cakes and pies and bread? Pyrex or a metal bakepan?
Pies.Breads, brownies etc. can be baked in cast iron loaf pans or skillets. Corn bread comes out amazing in cast iron pans like “lodge” brand or “le Creuset” -enameled cast iron. I’ve never baked a cake in cast iron. Not yet, however it should be ok. Maybe line it with unbleached parchment as you would with non- stick bakeware.
Give Le Creuset toughened non stick skillets a try. I’m not a huge fan of nonstick either, but the Le Creuset non stick is on to own playing field. You can even use metal utensils without scratching the surface. I used to go thru All Clad non stick every two years for 20 years . . .no more. These are awesome.
My favourite cooking/baking channel! Your recipes look amazing and you are so knowledgeable on so many subjects, I will always trust your opinion and statements! I hope All Clad reaches out and at the very least thanks you for your kind words, you rave about their products so often! Keep up the amazing work Lisa!
These are all of my favorite pans as well with one exception. For non-stick I have recently found hexclad which has a lifetime warranty. Loved this video!
Thanks for this video!!! I used to have and loved my nonstick pans (I had 2) but I got rid of them years ago! I watched you making fresh tortillas on the nonstick pan as a demo but I make my tortillas on my cast iron comal (or skillet) and they come out great! I also use my stainless steel Cuisinart pans for my eggs and everything- way to use almost mine non-stick just using a bit of oil. I got a 20-piece set of Cuisinart pots & pans from my husband as a wedding gift 20 years ago and they are still going strong!!! (& they come with a lifetime warranty!… can’t beat that!!!)
Hi, I recently bought a premium stainless steel cookware set after being inspired from this video and got rid of cheap non-stick ones. Although mine is not All-Clad, it is very nice stainless steel cookware from a relatively newer company. I started using it and notice that after every dish, the bottom of the pan or pot is stained and you can see where the food made contact with the pan. I use low-medium heat as suggested and preheat the pan before adding oil and cooking as well. I was wondering if you could share if your pans do the same and it just requires cleaning with some combination of vinegar or baking powder. Every time I use my pan I have to clean it either with baking soda or vinegar and I was wondering if that's normal and would that wear on the pan over time. I know that stainless steel is a bit more tricky to clean versus non-stick pans, but I haven't been able to clean the pot or pan without having to soak it in some sort of acidic solution to make the cookware look clean and shiny again. Are you able to just clean with soap and water with your All-Clad?
Great cookware! I love cooking in cast iron pots, I have both le creuset & Staub and I absolutely love them both! They are pricey, but worth every penny.
I have Circulon pots and pans which I use every day. Paid a silly price for them but the good thing is that they come with lifetime warranties which Ive actually used and they have honoured without question. Ive replaced a chef's pan, fry pan and large pot (which were all getting on to 15 years old). Lovely heavy base, useful on a hob and in the oven and induction ready (which would mean something if I ever replaced our gas hob for an induction one I guess :) ). Also have Le Creuset skillet and casserole pans and absolutely love them...just don't drop them or you will break what ever they hit :)
My mom used to make me go with her to the dept store to buy these pots on sale since there was a limit per person…let’s just say it started my cookware obsession as an adult 😂
... Just one point about wood utensils… I'm beginning to use a lot of bamboo… It's a great strong wood... Environmentally it replenishes at a tremendous rate… We will never run out of bamboo… And if possible I try to get bamboo products that are made in Japan/ my preference… You have a wonderful RUclips channel and do a very good job… God is good...
I love my saladmaster stainless steel. And i have the whole set, by buying each piece at differant times at the thrift store. The highest I paid for one pan was $12.00. The lowest price was $3.00. That is the best part. I love your videos.
Saladmaster is the best stainless steel cookware I know of. It's guaranteed for life and they stand behind their guarantee. I have 2 sets, one that I bought new for $1600 about 12 years ago and one that's over 40 years old that I bought at an estate auction for $60 a few years later.
All-Clad stainless steel pots are coated with a coating, without this coating the food would stick. This coating may also be carcinogenic. As highlighted there are coatings which are PTFE free, which seem to be safer.
I only use cast iron and stainless steel as well. I purchased my All-Clad 10 years ago when my husband and I got married. They are holding up perfectly. And of course cast iron never wears out. My Le Creuset Dutch Oven is amazing!!! I love all my pieces and good kitchenware is a great lifetime investment. Well worth saving up to get great products.
Thanks for the video. I tortured myself with endless "research" and landed on a combo of All-Clad D3 stainless (12" skillet), Cuisinart TriPly stainless (3.5 qt sauté pan), Tramotina triply stainless (3 qt sauce pan), Lodge (12" cast iron skillet), and OXO (10" non-stick), and Cook N Home stainless (8 qt stock pot). We'll see how it goes. I need to round it out with some smaller pans I'm realizing 🤦♂
I bought an All Clad pan 1 or 2 years ago but I had so much trouble cleaning it that I never used it much. Now I am using the Always pan, which I LOVE.
I would be very interested in a video on kitchen spices and herbs (both dried and fresh): How to purchase (or plant & grow), store and the optimal containers and conditions for storage. Also, perhaps a part 2 on herbal teas.
That was very informative & helpful. I'm currently using nonstick cookware, but after listening to this video, I plan to transition over to stainless steel as I need to replace my current cookware. Thanks for all of the great information!!
GREAT analyse of different material cookwares. the most healthy material is S/S cookware. all the other all cover with coatings. enamel coating/non-stick coating/ceramic coating/preseason coating... i had use to been in the cooware manufacture business before. pre-season coating will be the worst. in EU. it can not pass LFGB. but in USA FDA is accept by some parts of the test result. For the utensil, i prefer use wood or bamboo.for non stick cookware.it is much safety for food contact. as there differnent grade of silicone. heat-resisten mostly only up to 180~230 degrees.
Girl!!!!! So timely! Love every recommendation you put out there definitely looking into some all clad and building up. I got a ceramic set from them and now I wish I had done a little more research and gone with stainless steel 😭😭
@@MikyMiguel777 usually with my pans, i heat them up, then put some oil or butters around the bottom. They seems to suck up moisture really quickly, so if i dont follow that sequence, then my food sticks.
@@MikyMiguel777 No, I have All-Clad stainless steel heat up empty pan or pot on medium to low heat and then add 1 tablespoon of butter or oil and coat it all over and it works fine. I cook eggs like that on them and they do not stick. Easy to cook and easy to clean. You can get them on sale toward the end of January on one day sale for 7-pc set for less than $300 at Bloomingdale online.
Which pan is better to cook eggs and such in: all clad or a coated cast iron? Is there a reason you use stainless steel pan instead of the coated iron? Someone told me calphalon 18/10 is as good as all clad, what do you think? Thank you!
Just the right time when I’m starting to feel overwhelmed for cookware research! Appreciate your video. Most of the products, I found during my research. However, I would to know if you have used The Always Pan from Our Place for ceramic non stick pan. Can you give an honest opinion? Thank you in advance!
Here In the UK there is a company called Samuel Groves who still hand make all of their range, most if not all of their pots/pans are covered by their Pans for life warranty. So the pans can be sent back to them for various repairs including recoating of their non stick range. :)
Saladmaster. Is my favorite... Lifetime warranty and no chemical reactions on our food that retains 93 percent of nutrients. 316 ti is being use the highest grade os titanium
My aunt told me to buy some of those Al Clad and I was going to until I saw the price haahahah. My budget alternative was the Costco Kirkland Set 😊 I’ve had them for 8+ years
If you ever decide to replace them check out Vollrath. If you live in a city there are more than likely plenty of Restaurant Supply stores that should have them in stocks but they can be found on Amazon. Made in the USA and similar performance to the All-Clad, just not quite ia pretty, at about half the price.
In the mid 50’s my Mom & aunts bought Seal O Matic cookware. I purchased mine in 66 after graduation from HS and definitely not a cook. My aunts set has been passed to my son-in-law, still like new. Moms set moved to our camper, and I am going to buy used on line for our grand kids.
6:30 You can get non-stick pans now that are totally safe, can be used with metal utensils and will last you as long as a stainless-steel pan! :-) Try to take a look at the cheapest version, the onyx stainless-steel pans, only downside to them is that you do still have to keep them at a maximum of medium heat, and you have to heat them slowly.
I’m curious why you think ceramic-coated cast iron is OK, but ceramic “non-stick” pans are not...? Wouldn’t they have the same issues with nano-particles?
The ceramic used for cast iron comes as 'frit' -- search it. Frit is fused at a very high heat during the bonding process. This makes the coating a one-piece sheath. This manufacturing step is totally different than that used for non-stick atop aluminum. The latter metal would melt like a river at the temperatures used to fuse frit. You'll also find frit used in many 'white goods' -- ie stoves, dishwashers -- which were traditionally retailed in a white color -- hence the nic-name.
Unless you are a weightlifter, enameled and standard cast iron are difficult to work with. Go with the best and go with All-Clad and for a cheaper option, but almost the same, Tramontina. Tramontina also makes the best non-stick skillet for the $$ but All-Clad is slightly better but heavier.
If you decide to do an update on your favourite cookware, would you consider recommending sizes? I would absolutely love to buy a set of All-Clad cookware but I cannot afford it. I am older and do not have family to pass it down either. If I was younger, I certainly would consider purchasing All-Clad cookware even if it was a piece at a time. I love your content and happy to be a subscriber. Love from Canada.
My dear sister! Thank u so very much for explaining about all these products. I was waiting for a genuine review from some one, so that I can buy the best quality pots and pans. I have heard about All clad and lodge products. Ur review has helped me to decide which one to buy now! Surely I will go for Allclad and Lodge!😍👍God bless. Stay safe! Annalina from India!🤗🙏
I bought a Le Creuset pot this summer. It is amazing. Cooks so well. I also have a vintage wagner cast iron skillet and new and I’ve always loved it. Lodge is a fantastic current brand. I love lodges bread pans as well. Great tips.
Some good pots and pans that are non stick and non toxic are Caraway and Green Life because their ceramic and Green life is sold at Walmart for very cheap in case your wondering
TheBigpapax30 Wolfgang Puck stainless steel is an excellent alternative and is just durable and high quality. I’ve had my set for 15 years and it looks new. Also, Lodge makes excellent alternatives to Le Creuset. You too can have amazing cookware. I love all of my pieces and they’re lifetime purchases on a budget ✅💯

I’m enjoying your videos so much!! I find that we like very similar things - including Al-clad! I have given myself a number of gifts 🎁 from skillets to pots because I fell in love with the quality!
I am slowly switching out my 15 year old set of Martha Stewart pots/pans for All Clad. I also have a 5.5 quart Le Creuset in Caribbean that I absolutely love.
Love the work you do! Thank you for making my life easier. I have a gluten intolerant toddler and you make gluten free awesome and delicious. Thank you!!
I totally agree... but why it happens that all stainless pot have i dont know the word... ill call them edges that also get heated like the rest of the pot? Couldnt they use other material like wood or plastic so you can lift it up and tranfer it safely? Also when you wanna see the progress or stir up the food its all over heated!!
I am very impressed how clean your stainless steel cookware is clean and looking nice even after years and years of using! Could you please share some tips, how you clean and take care of them? Thank you in advance!
@@vickigollop1216 stainless steel is not non-stick, however there are cooking techniques you can use to minimize sticking. Search RUclips on “cooking eggs in stainless steel pan” or “stainless steel pan mercury test.” You have to let the pan heat up dry to a certain temp, then test by dropping water drops in it. If it sizzles and then evaporates, it’s not hot enough and food will stick - especially protein foods. If the water balls up and looks like mercury, it’s ready to add your oil and room temperature food (adding cold food to a hot pan will result in sticking). Let meats, fish, and poultry sit on counter for 10-15 min after removing from the fridge, so it’s not too cold.
I never use metal cooking utensils in my cookware because it will damage the interior surfaces. I use silicone or wood exclusively. I own lots of cookware, both high-end and less pricey choices. My least favorites are All Clad and my collection of stainless because it requires an excessive amount of oil in order to have less sticking. Enameled cast iron, all brands, work equally well for me. I prefer le creuset because it's slightly lighter in weight which means that I'm less likely to have a heavy pot slip out of my grip during cleanup. My favorite all around choice is the Calphalon hard anodized cookware that has no nonstick coating. I'm not sure this type is available any longer - mine are from the 70s and I've kept them in excellent condition. I do use nonstick coated cast aluminum skillets, stock pots, and stew pots. The brand I like best is Carote. I'm careful not to overheat before adding food and only use silicone utensils during cooking, but I do the same with all of my cookware. Another favorite is cast iron. I have my grandmother's and my mom's old skillets and Dutch ovens. I allow all cookware to cool before washing in hot soapy water, cast iron, too, and drying well before storage. Cookware choices are best made depending on the style and types of foods you prepare. I live in south Louisiana Cajun region, and my cooking needs are completely different from most other regions. I started my cookware collection in 1970, and I'm still adding pieces. I really love cooking! ❤️
Unfortunately i was gifted a “healthy” non stick set of pots and pans by my parents four years ago. I love how they perform but thinking about switching them one by one for stainless steel, without my parents notice🤫
Hi Lisa, First of all thank you for all your videos and shares and secondly, I would like to know more about what kind of oven trays/pans are you using for the veggies?
Just found your channel recently and really find your videos to be very helpful and enjoyable to watch. My favorites are Le Creuset. I’ve used them for many years. .
What is your opinion on the All-Clad B1 non stick pans...they are 3 ply and have no ptfe but as you say there is another coating that substitutes ptfe.
If I had to do it again, I’d get my All-Clad pans without long handles. It cracks me up that folks from the US get their parents to buy them stuff. OMG it took me 20 years to save up for my kitchenware, piecemeal. I’d love to have an all grey, white set of pieces I tried, but I could never find any of them on sale. So, my awkward collection pieces of Stab & LeCreuset are a goddamned rainbow of whatever I could afford, when I could find it.
Solid advice. I converted my kitchen to mostly cast iron except for 1 enameled dutch oven and 3-4 stainless steel pans for boiling water or heavy vinegar or tomato sauce recipes. My spatulas are absolute trash however and are a patchwork of all kinds of awful... so I will definitely have to check out the ones you recommended because all mine warp or look awful. Do your silicone spatulas trap water in them when you wash them?
@@fundamental1020 cast iron doesn't contain lead. If it does, it was not made in the USA. Cast iron does leach iron into your food though. This glass-like coating on the exterior surface of the cast iron pot or pan can contain high amounts of lead, so as long as nobody is using that side you're fine :)
@@fundamental1020 Sometimes a “ceramic” coating is used as a non-stick surface on insides of the pans - and those can also contain lead. For this reason, I avoid any decorated pots or pans for my family and stick with traditional, unadorned cast iron, clear glass or stainless steel as a result.
P311 C heat the pan medium and wait roughly 2 minutes. Pour a small drop of water and wait to see if it evaporates immediately or it bounces around the pan. If it evaporates the pan has not heated enough try again in 30 seconds or so. Once it does hear then apply your oil and coat the pan. That should do it.
I have Titanium Exclusive cookware and love it. It's non-stick but coated with titanium, not tephlon. Best to wash pans while they're still hot to maintain the finish.
I have a small knife that comes from germany and can cut meat, bread and everything. although it looks small but very useful. anything its written down is made in germany is sure to be of good quality

@ Jennifer Harris, I love demeyere!
Thanks so much Jaimie! And yes, I sure do love my All Clad. I'm always happy to share what I feel is truly best in the kitchen. :)
Ever since quarantine, I got myself 3 cast irons skillets, a cast iron casserole pot and a carbon steel wok. And my cooking haven't got any better 😝
Same I keep buying myself expensive cookware to motivate myself cooking lol
These are all of my favorite pans as well with one exception. For non-stick I have recently found hexclad which has a lifetime warranty. Loved this video!
Glad this video helped! 😊
Are you able to just clean with soap and water with your All-Clad?
wow!
Thanks for this. I am in the process of overhauling my kitchenware and this video was really helpful.
I love my saladmaster stainless steel. And i have the whole set, by buying each piece at differant times at the thrift store. The highest I paid for one pan was $12.00. The lowest price was $3.00. That is the best part. I love your videos.
Great! I'm not familiar with that brand but I'll look into it. :) Thanks Brenda!
Wow I don't know that brand....is it good?
Saladmaster is the best stainless steel cookware I know of. It's guaranteed for life and they stand behind their guarantee. I have 2 sets, one that I bought new for $1600 about 12 years ago and one that's over 40 years old that I bought at an estate auction for $60 a few years later.
All-Clad stainless steel pots are coated with a coating, without this coating the food would stick. This coating may also be carcinogenic. As highlighted there are coatings which are PTFE free, which seem to be safer.
where can i find more information on this?
Stumble across your video and feel in love. I love purchasing kitchen cookware and utensils. I've learned quite a lot. Thanks
It sounds like you've got a great assortment of cookware Kristi! And they really will last a lifetime. :)
Kristi B I completely agree!!! I’m so happy I finally bit the bullet for a vitamix and am now doing research on stainless steel!
Thank you for all of these tips! Would you ever do a video on under-the-counter organization video? How do you organize your under-counter space?
Will definitely keep that in mind! 😊
Hello from France 🇫🇷 @Downshiftology ! Love to watch your videos in this clean environment with fresh colors. You are among my favorite RUclipsrs.
Thanks so much Francois! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video!
Thank you!! I have used Lodge pans for years. Downside for me is their weight! Will definitely check out Crate and Barrell utensils!
Lodge is great! But yes, they are a bit heavy. Definitely check out those utensils, they've got the best balanced feel in the hand as well.
Cheryl Lehman For lighter alternative cast iron , check out Stargazer and Field cast iron . Both are made in the US and are much lighter than Lodge .
I will definitely keep that in mind :)
That was very informative & helpful. I'm currently using nonstick cookware, but after listening to this video, I plan to transition over to stainless steel as I need to replace my current cookware. Thanks for all of the great information!!
You're welcome Lynn! Switching to stainless is a smart idea. :)
Same!
Thank you for talking about negative impacts of non-stick.
I didn't know.....my goodness🥂🍾
Stainless steel is definitely my favorite to use 😊
Do you have to put a lot of oil to stainless steel? Since it’s not nonstick
@@MikyMiguel777 usually with my pans, i heat them up, then put some oil or butters around the bottom. They seems to suck up moisture really quickly, so if i dont follow that sequence, then my food sticks.
@@MikyMiguel777
No, I have All-Clad stainless steel heat up empty pan or pot on medium to low heat and then add 1 tablespoon of butter or oil and coat it all over and it works fine.
Thank you!
Thanks for your advice. I started to buy All-Clad stainless steel pans for my daughter's wedding.
Just the right time when I’m starting to feel overwhelmed for cookware research! Appreciate your video. Most of the products, I found during my research. However, I would to know if you have used The Always Pan from Our Place for ceramic non stick pan. Can you give an honest opinion? Thank you in advance!
This video couldn’t have been here at a better time. Was literally just looking for best cooking pans yesterday!
Awesome! Perfect timing then. :)
Me, too!
I never heard of All Clad until I saw this video. You are correct in the fact that it is QUITE expensive!
Wait until you check the price of the Dutch oven...
Worth EVERY penny...just be mindful about what you will use and you can obtain a great collection while not breaking the bank
Me too!
Thank you!!! Good looking out. I’m totally All-Clad & le Creuset fan ❤️
Thank you! I just purchased a piece set from all clad. Im slowly replacing my non stick items.
Wonderful! You're gonna love it.
Please which is the best pot ?help with the name
Me too, just throwed anyway couole of them. Haha
I'm so glad I invested in Staub and Le Creuset. They are worth every penny.
love love love! I'm only 25 but this is right up my alley. Functional and practical gifts are the best! (:
Yes, agree!
You'll also find frit used in many 'white goods' -- ie stoves, dishwashers -- which were traditionally retailed in a white color -- hence the nic-name.
after watching so many videos for the selection of cookware, this one confirms the summary of my research. thank you
Glad it was helpful Debbie!
This was a great video I've learned a lot! Can you do a video on plates, bowls & fork/spoon
Thanks so much Ivana! I'm glad you loved it. And I'll make a note of that for a future video. :)
Thank you!! Can you do one on knives and cutting boards?? Love your channel.
That would be a great video for the future! I'll make a note of it. :) Thanks Valencia!
@@Downshiftology Yes! Cutting boards and knives! Is an awsome idea, I really need to replace mine :)
I'd look at Cliff Stamp videos.
mad thumbs thank you for the suggestion!
Really informative video, love all your pots and pans. you’re absolutely right they all have a place and a time to use.
Thank you 😊
My dear sister!
FYI, the Le Creuset enamel tests a bit high on lead content. Staub scores much better on that, and Lodge Dutch ovens are an even healthier choice.
I bought a Le Creuset pot this summer. It is amazing. Cooks so well. I also have a vintage wagner cast iron skillet and new and I’ve always loved it. Lodge is a fantastic current brand. I love lodges bread pans as well. Great tips.
This is exactly what I need!!! Clicked thumbs-up before even started watching!!!! Thank you.
Yay, thanks so much Angie! I hope you love the video! :) x
@@Downshiftology Wow thanks for sharing your concerns about non-stick pans. I'm gonna get some new stainless-steel pans instead.
Angie Shen meeee toooo! I lovee here!
Perfect! That's a wise choice.
Some good pots and pans that are non stick and non toxic are Caraway and Green Life because their ceramic and Green life is sold at Walmart for very cheap in case your wondering
Wowww. Never cry so much when I noticed that all those good products you recommended I CAN'T AFFORD them.😭😭😭
TheBigpapax30 Wolfgang Puck stainless steel is an excellent alternative and is just durable and high quality. I’ve had my set for 15 years and it looks new. Also, Lodge makes excellent alternatives to Le Creuset. You too can have amazing cookware. I love all of my pieces and they’re lifetime purchases on a budget ✅💯
@@RPBSpeaks Le Creuset is great...especially their cast iron skillets
Dawn Briscoe I have no doubt and would like to own a piece one day🤩. For now, Lodge will do ✅😂
maybe spread over few years for birthday Xmas gifts to you?
Pricey but I'd rather spend a little money now and have it last a lifetime vs going the cheap route and end up having it break or not last.🙂
I love your videos. You save me so much time on research. Based on all the videos I have watched I truly respect your suggestions to be honest and to be geared toward the best for your viewers
I am so glad to hear that Debbie 😊I hope this video helps when you are buying your next set of cookware!
I’m enjoying your videos so much!! I find that we like very similar things - including Al-clad! I have given myself a number of gifts 🎁 from skillets to pots because I fell in love with the quality!
Great minds think alike 😊
I’m going to gift myself this weekend. 😂
I am slowly switching out my 15 year old set of Martha Stewart pots/pans for All Clad. I also have a 5.5 quart Le Creuset in Caribbean that I absolutely love.
That Caribbean color is beautiful!
Love the work you do! Thank you for making my life easier. I have a gluten intolerant toddler and you make gluten free awesome and delicious. Thank you!!
Thanks so much! I'm happy you love my recipes and videos. Hopefully they'll be helpful with your little one. ❤️
Yeah you're right i'am also intolerant to gluten and she really helped me a lot with her different gluten free recipes 😊 so i'm grateful to her
I totally agree... but why it happens that all stainless pot have i dont know the word... ill call them edges that also get heated like the rest of the pot? Couldnt they use other material like wood or plastic so you can lift it up and tranfer it safely? Also when you wanna see the progress or stir up the food its all over heated!!
I just love you! You’re so smart and I could listen to you forever lol
You're so sweet. Thank you!
I am very impressed how clean your stainless steel cookware is clean and looking nice even after years and years of using! Could you please share some tips, how you clean and take care of them? Thank you in advance!
Love this video! I just switched half of my cookware to stainless steel. Hoping to switch the other half very soon! Thanks for the awesome video ! 😊
That's great, good for you!
Are they non stick?
I heard "end of November" and got scared since I'm in quarantine.
Too funny
😂😂😂
Oh man.
Damn
I would like to suggest using oven cleaner to remove the gunk buildup around rivets.
Unfortunately i was gifted a “healthy” non stick set of pots and pans by my parents four years ago. I love how they perform but thinking about switching them one by one for stainless steel, without my parents notice🤫
Hahah! These All Clad ones definitely won't fail! 😊
ill pay you to ship them to me man, they're working perfectly if you wanna give up on them
Good decision.
Nonstick usually doesn’t last four years anyways so I doubt your parents would be put off
I use nonstick because the other pans are difficult for me to use and I burn food typically :( please do a video on how to cook with the other pans
Can you review the Always Pan by Our Place? That would be phenomenal :)
Hi Lisa, First of all thank you for all your videos and shares and secondly, I would like to know more about what kind of oven trays/pans are you using for the veggies?
I buy all my good stainless steel pans from Marshall’s TJ MAXX OR HOMEGOODS STORES!
Just found your channel recently and really find your videos to be very helpful and enjoyable to watch. My favorites are Le Creuset. I’ve used them for many years.
.
Welcome to the Downshiftology community Jean 😊 Hope you continue to learn tons from my channel and enjoy the recipes along the way!
You always make sense Liza! Love from the Philippines 😍😘
Thanks Ann 😊
Sorry our parents don't want us to starve. Instead of saving up for kitchenware, save up for new parents.
Joshua Langston : the GDA says cast iron can leach lead
Glad you enjoyed the video Joshua! And no, my silicone spatulas don't trap any water. They're great!
Can you tell us how you fried that perfect egg with All-Clad?
Mine always turns out burnt or sticks to the pan
P311 C heat the pan medium and wait roughly 2 minutes. Pour a small drop of water and wait to see if it evaporates immediately or it bounces around the pan. If it evaporates the pan has not heated enough try again in 30 seconds or so. Once it does hear then apply your oil and coat the pan. That should do it.
I have Titanium Exclusive cookware and love it. It's non-stick but coated with titanium, not tephlon. Best to wash pans while they're still hot to maintain the finish.
Please and thank you, would like your recommendations on kitchen knives
+1
Buy german grade stainless steel.
I have a small knife that comes from germany and can cut meat, bread and everything. although it looks small but very useful. anything its written down is made in germany is sure to be of good quality
Hi :)) I have only just found your channel this evening and I am absolutely hooked. I live in the U.K. and wondered if the stainless steel pans you use are available here so I will check it out as it’s so difficult to find them here for some reason. Thank you for this video and sharing your meal prep on the other videos that I have watched so far it’s so helpful and the meal ideas are fantastic xxx thank you so much again

Thanks so much Chaela! :)
Such a helpful, well-presented video, as always! Thank you!
Thanks so much Lexi! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
New subscriber after watching your meal prep video. I love how genuine you are
Many of these brands I aodre but some I haven't heard of, I'll have to try them!
I have a full Allclad fri set but really like my Hexclad set so much better. All around just easier and so much more comfortable. Keep the Hex seasoned well and its the perfect pan.
I want to switch out my Teflon type pans and want to buy a good set. This was a great review! Thank you!
What are your thoughts on the copper (orange) pans that are popular right now?
