Automatic transmissions are ubiquitous now, but there's something so satisfying about how the combination of low gearing and direct drive makes the wheel speed so absolutely controllable. Whether the torque is high or low, and whether the tires maintain traction or not, you remain totally in control of wheel speed, and that's a driving feature that is so easy to forget ever existed if all one drives are modern trucks. Cool video.
I couldn’t agree more, it adds so much to the driving experience. There is such a numb feeling knowing the truck won’t stall in an automatic off-road. Thank you!
I have owned two Jeep M-715's in the past. I put new engines in both of them and they ran a lot better. I ended up selling both of them, but they were fun to drive when I owned them.
@@rrphelps thank you! I would love to make it great off-road and lockers are the first thing I want to do. I haven’t done much research but I’ll look into a Detroit locker!
I just put hydroboost brakes and power steering from BJs Offroad on my M715. Made a HUGE difference! I also found a set of 38" Michelins and all three upgrades were worth it!
@@jackbowescinema8002 Picked mine up earlier this year. Rebuilding 5.3 Vortec and just finished up rebuilding NP205 transfer case. Trailworthy Fab beadlocks with 37s, body looks in similar condition as yours. Simple trail rig.

There’s not enough m715 content on RUclips. Keep this up!
I totally agree! I’m excited to start posting more with it!
Liked the rock roll down the hill. Camera never seems to accurately catch the degree of incline. Love that Jeep ❤️
Thank you! The Jeep is a big work in progress. Eventually I want to build it into an overlanding truck!

What a truck!!!! Final drive ratio must be insane!.
It is! I have a video on my Instagram of it driving itself at idle!
cool. that is really a great truck. you can do a detroit locker pretty cheap... it would make it that much more useable. Good job! subscribed.

@@jackbowescinema8002Far as I know Detroit is the only locker for the Dana70 we have in these trucks. Front there options but rear just one

That’s awesome! Are the 38s mounted to the factory wheels?
Love the M715… nice video keep it up
Thanks!
Any more Kaiser videos?
Might not be a collectors item now but it just might become one in the future. I had a Jeep J10 it was fun
Excellence. Rock on.
Nice M715 you should have let the air out of your tires and you wouldn't have a problem with that. But you have be able to fill them back up.
I definitely would have if I had a pump! When I start driving it more I’m going to get a good pump for it.
Nice M715 - very clean.
Thank you! It’s got a big future ahead of it!
@@jackbowescinema8002 I'm working on one too. Lots of fun.
@@mjo326 that’s awesome! What’s the story behind yours?

Very cool Kaiser!
Cool ..
W video! (Hayden)
NH!
Yup! I really miss it up there
Any update on this?
Where did you get your fuel pump I need one thanks
My dad rebuilt it with a kit he got online. The diaphragm was ripped and the seals were bad. I will ask tomorrow where he got it.
