EDITE - **LONG, DIATRIBE WARNING** Humbly,....the only way I can describe PSA in recent-memory ( _ESPECIALLY_ ,...when they turn-on their..."cash cow revenue"/monthly specials...at relatively reduced pricing!) is.... *_CONSISTENTLY, INCONSISTENT_* !! My three, most recent PSA subs,...all within the last 60 calendar days: Order #1 - 12 cards,...11 PSA 10's, 1 PSA 9 - Order #2 - 22 cards,....18 PSA 10, 4 PSA 9.......32 cards,....15 PSA 10's, 14 PSA 9's, 3 PSA 8's...!?!?! Disparities, discrepancies, and variances,..... _THAT, SIGNIFICANT_ ,...within less than 60 days, would suggest that I've gone blind in one eye, and can't see outta' the other, _OR_,....PSA's graders, and/or the integrity & continuity on their grading-scale,....is __*_FLAWED_* , to put it mildly!! I have a 64 card order.... _ALREADY GENERATED_ and in the PSA System,...prepped & ready to go....like,... _tomorrow_ ....(43 of them,...pack-pulled, Select & Prizm Wemby's!!) but with my grades that popped today, ,...I'm *TOTALLY HESITANT* to send them in!! The way the grader's mindset is; they'll probably *ASSUME* (and I stress the word, *_ASS*UME_** that I cherry-picked 'em off of the secondary market,....and will **_HAMMER ME on the grades!! When, in truth,....I spent about the GDP of a small, third-world nation,....busting cases/boxes/packs of Prizm & Select,...chasing Wemby!! Sorry for the long diatribe, but these days,....PSA just _REALLY_** makes me 😡😡😡😡 We....."need them"....as sportscard collectors/sellers/investors/flippers/etc., but if they **_DON'T_** grade on a **_*CONSTANT_* ,.... *_CONSISTENT_* ,...and *_INTEGRAL_* grading-curve,...we might as well just..... _CHUCK A DART AT A DARTBOARD_ ,....when we evaluate/reevaluate,...and hand-select the cards we choose for submission. With the exception of (perhaps) an _ANOMALY_ and/or the _RARE INSTANCE_ where....."seasoned-submitters"....submit cards to PSA for grading,...there should *NEVER* be instances where our results are constantly....." *_ALL OVER THE BOARD_* !! Meaning,...there should really never be situations/results where you send in (example) a 25 card submission,...and one time, you average a 82% Gem Rate,....the next time you average a 77% Gem Rate,...and then the next submission,...you average a *_FOURTY EIGHT PERCENT_* Gem Rate. Let's look at this _LOGICALLY_ and _SENSIBLY_ ; _YOU_ ....(eg; the person who's _submitting the cards_ !!)....didn't...."CHANGE" !! The processes in which you evaluate, select, and ultimately... _CHOOSE YOUR CARDS_ for submission...didn't...."CHANGE"!! The *GRADER* at *_PSA_* , CHANGED!! And if they're _SUPPOSED TO_ ...."grade on a curve" .....and base their opinion on the points-of-note of EDGES/SURFACE/CORNERS/CENTERING ,...while, admittedly,...a *_OPINION BASED_* ,... *_SUBJECTIVE PRACTICE_* ,...unless the grader is being well,...to put it in a "non, PC term",.... _OVERALLY, ANAL RETENTIVE_ ,....there's _NO EXPLICABLE REASON_ why the grade(s) they're assigning to a respective order (especially,...humbly,...to someone who it's _NOT_ their first-go @ the rodeo!!) should drastically differ by 1 & 2 Grading points,....across the totality of an order!! In closing,...while I still respect PSA.... _CONCEPTUALLY_ ,...they _REALLY_ have to tighten the ship over there!! It's becoming quite evident (especially,...in the POST-COVID CARD BOOM era!!) that they are putting _PROFITS_ over the _PRODUCT_ ...and they are effectively (if not, "short term"..... _certainly_ ..."long term!!).... _SHOOTING THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT_ !! I have to make a _SERIOUS_ ,... _POTENTIALLY_ *EXPENSIVE & COSTLY* decision,...in the next 3-4 days (the deadline for the Grading Special extension); if I wanna'...."roll the dice" on another $1,000+ *GAMBLE* ('cause that's what it seems these days when subbing to PSA; a _COMPLETE_ , *GAMBLE* !!) ....and sub those 64 cards, _OR_ ,...just simply...."sit tight"....wait until next NBA season,...and,......"slow trickle"....some of my 43 Wemby's for grading...??!? Decisions, decisions...??!? *TO BE CONTINUED*
Back corners. Have to pay attention to those now. They ding me on every single one it seems. Prizm and Mosaic usually have white corners on the silvers and it sucks. What used to pass doesn't anymore. You should do well though.
I won't grade with p.s.a myself had bad experience with them. So I use sgc i no p.s.a slabs hold more value i just hate how they 7,8,9 people to death.

It makes zero sense to me that PSA holds more value. All the companies basically do the same thing and have same experienced graders, etc.
