Coming from a Vikings fan you’re literally my favorite sports cards creator, you always keep it real and to the point and not enough people are like that! Keep doing your thing!
The centering did look good on a lot of those 9’s, so there had to have been a surface or edge/corner issue that docked the grade. The cracked ice can be tough to spot surface blemishes! Thanks for sharing!
I went over the video with you and I agreed with everything you were saying most of those 9's should have been 10's I see why sometimes people are shying away from PSA because it seems like they are playing favorites with customers it seems like the more cards you grade the better chance you have of getting more 10's
Nice order! The Wemby looked OC top to bottom (though could just be the angle you were holding it). PSA is tightening up on their 60/40 I’ve noticed and I’ve really stopped going by that and tighten up myself when I review. Excited to see your future orders.
My last 3 subs were fairly small: A 10, 11 and 18, and combined I received 33 PSA 10 grades, 5 PSA 9 grades and 1 graded 8. 2 were graded in Jersey and 1 in So Cal.
Awesome video. PSA subs are very subjective, you never know what to expect. I did my first submission recently and got five 10’s, one 9, and one 7 (lol). Hit a 10 on the big ones (Wemby silver select, stroud green mosaic)
That's rough. A lot of those "60 40" ones looked perfect to me. At least you got the new PSA cases, there so nice I hope they fix those flow lines soon
Nice sub! Glad you getting into the game. Grading yourself. I think peops should sub for themselves. Makes the hobby and collection more satisfying in my opinion.
@@AcmePacks yeah was at collect a con KC 2 weeks ago and it was pretty much all CGC graded cards… even the few sports cards booths were selling CGC slabs.
When you get a card graded and say for example you don’t wipe it off before putting in top loader or etc will PSA grade as is or will they wipe it off to make sure it’s clean as they grade it ??
You selling that Kincaid? Also, grading through PSA is a crapshoot lol. I’ve had cards I thought were sure 10’s that got 9’s and ones I thought would be a 9 that hit a 10 lol
Just my opinion but it seems like youre mainly looking at horizontal centering when the vertical centering looks pretty bad on some of those 9's. The space between the border at the top should be the same thickness as the distance at the bottom.
Might have been the angles they were shown at but most were within the 60-40 but all good it happens. Not complaining just thought this was one of the tougher subs ive had in the last few years
PSA’s lazy grading and flippantly giving out tens is why I don’t understand how they stay in business. Essentially, if you know that PSA will give a ten BGS will give the same card a nine, and you choose PSA, it’s a scam. PSA is popular because they allow people to be devious. A true nine will grade a ten, and rarely the other way around.
i feel like psa is more so inconsistent across the board. i’ve seen many 9s that should be 10s and vice versa too. my experience has been they are far too strict on centering for a 10
I counted 7 cards in the 9 and 8 piles that never should have been sent in for grading. Why pay $23 to grade cards that literally aren’t worth the risk? I think you seem to me too grade happy, and it’s going to lose you a lot of money unnecessarily. That’s about $160 just from those 2 piles
I hate grading so much lol. It's one of the biggest scams in the hobby that everyone is even aware its a scam, its crazy to me. You even mention it just depends on that specific grader you get on that specific day, there is no science, you are just at their mercy. If you are flipping it and its a number game, that's fine, work the system by all means. But for PC cards, I just look at that $440 cost of grading and and imagine all the great cards I could add to my collection with that money. Still enjoyed the content though!
@@Brizik47 i do my best to be objective with this kind of stuff. I know grading has its issues and get why people think its a scam. But for now its a widely accepted means to increase a cards value so until people truly decide its a scam its definitely worth doing
I can see why people are shying away from PSA. I really believe it matters who you are and PSA participates in population control. Perhaps you should give TAG grading a try. Then at least youd know why it got the grade.
Coming from a Vikings fan you’re literally my favorite sports cards creator, you always keep it real and to the point and not enough people are like that! Keep doing your thing!
For real, here and SLVRsport are the only channels I enjoy watching of cards.
I truly appreciate that!!!
Thank you!!
Me too, love you bro. Keep doing your thing
Thanks for sharing! Nice submission. Loved watching Kraft at SDSU. I’m an alum as well. Hard to cheer for him in green and yellow 😆
Momma always said grading psa is like opening a box of chocolate, you just never know what your gunna get

I 100% agree. This grader seemed more than fair! I hope they grade my cards...
thanks this was good advice for me I've been wanting to know more on grading cards so I can send them off without missing lots of stuff
Glad i could help!
I love the variety
Nice submission AP !! Go Pack Go !!
Awsome cards love to see more love grading vids. Thanks for the great vid.
Great video, and we appreciate the education on PSA! Would you grade any of the unlicensed product like Wild Card or Leaf?
Great video. The grader was more than fair, the centering plays a role in getting a 9. Keep it up
Congrats! I’ve never submitted anything before, thinking about it more now.
I heard that PSA cases had some types of lines or cracks and that is why it took long to get them back
I got an optic holo rated rookie jordan love for about $30 raw at a card show a year ago and just got it back in a psa 10 from submission

Sports are definitely the hardest to get a 10 in so I shy away from grading those but def love collecting raw.
Love this Video!

Good stuff man! Very educational!
Love these types of vids
Very informative video. Thanks!
This is awesome!
Great sub man! I have a 20 card sub that should pop any day now. It's 16 Wembys and 4 others just to get to an even 20. Hoping for lots of 10s
Nice submission. The grades seem so arbitrary lately. A lot of those 9s looked clean! Thanks for the shoutout!

I also do like to support my lcs though. Awesome knowledgeable guy ive known for a few years now
So anxious to get my first PSA submission back. Hoping the jokic sticker you pulled me in a personal gets a 10
ill pray to the card gods for you!
Solid sub man. The centering you really never know what looks like probably a 9 could be a 10 or 8 haha! Thanks for the shout out.
Of course!
Great video 🔥
Where do u sell your cards after u grade them?
Ebay, shows, and people reaching out through the channel
CGC grading is so much cheaper and has really good value on the market from my experience. Have graded 220 cards with them so far.
I like CGC for POkemon!

Been super hesitant to send to psa. Have had wayyy better luck with SGC late. Unfortunately psa holds more value.

Sorry someone claimed that one shortly after this video went live!
Getting 9s on Prizm cards seems to be the baseline now because I’ve gotten too many 8s on prizms and I rarely see 10s
Decent grades, I heard if you submit only Lions players....you will most likely get all GEM MINT 10's. You live and you learn. 😁😎

New prizm football tough grades
I think we all have been getting tough graders with the recent submissions.
Maybe PSA increased their standards
What up AP

Thanks!

Hey Tina!!

You win some you lose some. Great video all together though.
PSA announced that they are going to start doing graders notes, so hopefully we get some more accountability from the graders
Only with higher tier services tho.
You might want to get some graded card sleeves if you don't have any... they can show wear really fast and ruin the presentation of the card.
@@RainStryke i have a ton and always sleeve them dont worry!
