For sure, give gratitude EVERY day! I live in southern Arizona. I went from living in and out of a van for one year (not by choice) to buying a house due to circumstances changing in my life and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate each day. Going from struggle, sadness and stress every day to now having a place where I can be out of the extreme hot/cold elements and a real bed to sleep on. I'm just glad to have a roof over my head, a place to shower, having my cat and spending the days in my backyard with the plants, moon, clouds, rain. I don't want to ever go back and live the past. Now concentrating on healing, healthy eating and planting an herb garden.
This is a good life! I'm also trying to keep the same perspective, to be grateful for the good things in my life, such as a place to live, food to eat, and a job to pay the bills and keep me focused and productive.

My wife and I just went through almost losing our 4lb. 4 year old Morkie last week and it was very difficult to fathom not having his beautiful spirit around us. He's a giant cushion in a not so comfy world we are trying to navigate. We look to escape our controlled condo life, have a garden again, dry our clothes outside if we damn well want and on and on. I'm looking to start a new business that I can bring joy or comfort to others trying to stay afloat. I find comfort knowing there are others asking questions. Be well.

That Olympic ceremony was the creepiest goddamn thing I've ever seen in my life.
