What's equally terrible is that his website/company seems to have closed down and thus all of his designs/work are lost to any potential new people who would love to purchase and construct one of his boats! Such a great shame and great loss!!!
I started this build exactly one year ago, but had to suspend construction because we moved. I have the entire frame of the boat completed, but I'm kicking myself in the ass for only buying 2 sheets of plywood back then, but who knew? Despite the high prices of lumber now, I just have to bite the bullet and buy what I need to finish it. I can't wait anymore!

The Carolina style are more suited to a motor but the power skiff might be a good boat if you want one that can do both. I'm in Bali and I want a boat I can row or sail back to shore in case the motor goes on the fritz. I'm looking at the 15 foot Hudson power skiff.

Also on the to do list are Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines.... Have you picked a boat yet? Curious to see which you pick considering.... I am also considering building a bigger version and running it on solar, there is a guy on YT that built a boat and runs it on a cheap homemade solar system.... I wouldn’t mind going all over the world under power, not sail, and the power be almost free.... Do you recommend Indonesia for people wanting to spend half the year in that part of the world and the other half stateside?

Oh, interesting! Was looking for alternatives to Simmons Sea Skiff. I suppose the transom could be raised a little to help in following seas. I would love to see her running in this configuration.
I went to the website and found no plans for boats , sure would like some info on the Carolina style dory , looking at building a 20' boat and trying to get angles to make a set of plans with ... any help would be appreciated

There are many factors in creating an amazing design. One plan I found which successfully combines these is the Denelle boat builder (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the most useful info that I have ever seen. look at this super website.
I have done very similar with Woodprix designs.

I believe if I built this, I’d have to get the outboard with the long leg, to have the transom deeper and hopefully to never let any water in.
I've always been partial to long legs.
