Loving all the gimbal competition out there on the market driving down prices and making the technology progress quicker. Great for us RUclipsrs and film makers alike!
Ahh I love this video! It is one of the best reviews I've watched in the last 3 months! You told me everything I wanted to know in less than 7 mins! Amazing!
I'm a user of this gimbal already and I think this video is totally awesome! This review is so detailed and includes most of answers what I wanted to know before bought it. I hope all of review vids were like this. Good job!
I just ordered one for my GH4, it seems ideal for my semi pro needs and I like that it includes a control cable for the Panasonic & that accessories screw thread is a nice touch!
Great review as usual Tommy! When it becomes available I'm snatching one up. I was on the fence and leaning toward the zhiyune, but this review sealed the deal. Thanks and blessings to you and the fam my bro!!!!
Thanks for the review! Any chance you could do the ViiGim 307? Like the AirCross, it carries 1.8 kg and is very affordable. At just $348 it seems like an insane value, and it'd be fun to see how it compares to this one.
Thank you for your work. Specially the addition of the all follow mode. Im purchasing the moza aircross now and will share some input soon. Keep shooting guys! Cheers! 🥂
hey tom, great review, just what i needed afternoon receiving this gimbal. i used it today with my g85 and the 15 mm 1.7 panaleica, wasn't bad, but i guess something a bit wider in angle might even reduce little vibration, especially when speeding up, fast walk or even running, do you have any suggestion about which lens to use and the best settings for overal sharpness in the field, thanks!
How does this compare to the zhiyun weebill? I've been considering in getting this for my BTS guy with a sony a6500+18-105 f/4 setup. I'm an active Moza Air 1 user and my company has a Zhiyun Crane 2, I greatly prefer my Moza Air due to the thinner grip (I have small hands) as the Crane 2's handle was too thick for my liking and caused hand fatigue quickly for me. But I don't want to be negatively biased towards Zhiyun just for a single product experience :P
My DSLR is the fairly compact Pentax K-S2 which weighs only 1200g with my Sigma 18-200mm lense, so would you consider it light enough to use on a Moza AirCross which lists the max payload as 1800g? (I've found someone selling an opened, but unused AirCross at a price I can afford as an amateur!)
Great video Tom, how do you think this compares to the one you reviewed the Camtv Spry that allows use with small cameras, iphone and GoPro with adapter? I would like to use my iPhone with moondog lens with it as well. Does this gimbal support iPhone with lens attachment and/or go pro? How is it versus Zhiyun Crane? Does the aircross support 360 rotation? Your input is greatly appreciated.
WHICH IS BETTER TO USE IN MI CAMARA CANON GX7 AND GO PRO??, I NEED SOMETHING LIGHT AND EASY TO TRANSPORT. BECAUSE IM A TRAVELER AND MOM AT THE SAME TIME :)
So great video! I have Fuji X-T20 and 23mm F2. Can I control shooting movie and taking picture by button on gimbal? or can I control shooting by ios App?
Hello Tom and thank you for this review and your work in general. Sorry for asking thé same question other youtuber did but do you noix how it works with a black magic pocket cinema or even it’s bigger brother the Bmpcc4k ? I’m getting very interested un this gimble and this one is à but cheaper than the other. What do you think about it ? Thank you and dobry den
So I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t find the dual grip. I wish this was available in the same kit as the moza air which includes the grip and remote. With the remote itself coming in at $120 and the gimble at $420 that’s $540 with no dual handle.
The Moza air screws break after a few months and Moza stops responding to the buyers issue for warranty refund. There is a BIG thread about it on The Frugal Filmaker over at Facebook with pics and video. The unit seems like garbage.
Hi Tom! thanks for the review! I have a question, does the thumb controler and the motion sensor mode, can you also control the roll? or only the pitch and yaw? thanks!
Hi there thank you for this review. I am looking for a monitor mount that is compatible with this gimbal, something similar to what you have at 0:22 of this video. I want to pair this gimbal with a sony 6300 and atomos ninja V. Any recommendations for compatible mount?
Is there any easy way to add a monitor to the gimbal? That’s the main thing I’m missing from these smaller gimbals. Thy have included cables and ports, but is there any HDMI outs to attach a monitor without running cable all the way from the camera?
Hi! Nice video 👌🏻 very well explained. I’m kind of new in this camera prop and I was wondering if it would be compatible for a Lumix Panasonic F2.8 Thanks 🙏🏻
Interesting. I had a terrible experience with the pilotfly most especially wrt to firmware upgrade and incompatibility with Mac OS. I use the Olympus em1 with its various lenses. Want something that is easy, smooth, easy to take around, good for simple buttery videos like social events or real estate widens, combined with my mavic pro for drone footage. I had been thinking of the ikan beholder ds2a but the your review makes me think about the aircross - any thoughts?
Can this handle an a7r2 + Techart pro + 400g lens + a baseplate with rails for lens support or swap the setup with a speedbooster + servo follow focus to really get close to that Max capacity? Would the Moza Air/Air 2 maybe work better if you are likely to have setups up in the 1.8-1.9kg range?
A bit late here but I've experienced gimbal drift with the AirCross whenever I plug an HDMI along with a monitor. Even after calibration I just can't get the gimbal to hold steady for anything inverted or tilted. I was wondering if perhaps upping the motor strength would eliminate this problem.
Nice review, i'm thinking of ordering this one for my GH5, Are there any picture of it mounted on the gimbal so I can get an idea of the clearance with the gimbal?
Hans Langenberg thanks. The GH5 has plenty of clearance vertically... back and forth position depends really on the lens you will put in your GH5. Shorter lenses give you more clearance.
There is one thing that i hate about my aircross: If you look at the vertical axis motor, there is a gap between the motor and the axis arm... And you can see all the insides of the motor through that gap. If a drop of water goes there (and it can go there easy) your motor is fryed... Guys from the shop told me that all of them are like this. Do you guys have the same issue ?
Could someone provide me a link for the dummy battery? I'm not buying from the moza website. So... Preferably AliExpress link? I am confused about the connection to the gimbal
Hi Tom Dear Thanks for the fun explanation, I wanted to consult with you I bought a Panasonic G7 model camera I would like to purchase the MOZA AIR CROOOS kit from the supplied cable. Can I control the recording and stopping button of the video via the remote control? I'm very confused between this model and the Feiyu A2000 What is more suitable for my camera? And what kind of kit is more cost-effective? Thanks Robbie
Hello, I have a question, the 4th mode for my Moza Air Cross 3 (Roll-Follow mode) it only does Roll...but no follow left/right...anyone know whats wrong? it used to do it, but it stopped, I'm not sure if there is a setting or anything, I put them all by default in moza software and didnt fix it...
Thanks for your support, friend. You could pre-order from MOZA official shop now and will get the power adapter (worth 40USD) for free as well. Welcome to check more here: www.gudsen.com/store-moza-aircross.html
I just start making videos for advertisement. I bought the aircross for my sony a7ii last week. It makes a lot easier job with affordable price. But i found some issues during the last time i record using this gimbal, 1. The sound of the motor getting louder when i record in a few angles, is it okay? Is it damaging the motor? Because it sounds like it can’t carry my camera weight on a few angles ._. 2. I dont really know what happened but when i change the mode several times, the light on the power button stays on then the gimbal didnt work at any mode. But when i check at the app, it didnt run out of battery. Could you please share your experience using this gimbal? Thanks!
I just bought the moza air cross and I’m waiting for it to get home, one question: in the box do I also find the other bigger handle or do I have to buy it separately?
has the original moza Air also the mimic motion funtion with the remote ? i have watched many videos about it because i want to buy it and have never seen this feature before. Thank You
Breakdown Entertainment yes now the Moza Air has identical functions as the Air Cross. Roll mode and mimic mode also if you get the remote. You just have to update to the latest firmware
Best review of this gimbal yet, Tom, and it prompted me to purchase one! However, I also purchased the dummy battery on the Moza site for my a6500. It looks like the cable comes out of the wrong side of the dummy battery (the small flap on the a6500 battery door is on the opposite side), so the battery door will not close. Were you able to test the optional Sony dummy battery from Moza?
Awesome review. I think this could be my next purchase. I did not like the Crane because it was too bulky. This seems to be a better fit for my Sony a6500.
Shiba I don't use post stabilization. Both of those gimbals are great but I personally prefer the Moza Air because it includes more accessories for the same price and it has a few extra features that Crane doesn't have.
Hey hey.... A question: can you perform inception mode? If I don't move it rotate all the way as it should, but if I walk it stops by about ,45 degree... I installed the newest firmware...
@@homomagus jeah man I know how to activate it, the problem is it doesnt work really... it works all the way 360° if I am staying in place, but as soon I start walking it rotates about 45 degrees and than stops...

Some services and goods might be deemed illegal by your government. In those instances its best to decreed about it. If that is of no concern to you then you can skip buying it and can "borrow" it without the sellers knowledge for indefinite amount of time.
Update!!! Moza engineers heard my wish for the all-follow mode and they will add it via firmware
cool!
Will it be a separate mode?
wow, you've got a power! it should be "ANTOS MODE" :)
How would you compare it with the Zhiyun Crane V2 3 Axis Brushless Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer?
is the 5th mode added yet? Also how well does this stabilizer perform when running?
Loving all the gimbal competition out there on the market driving down prices and making the technology progress quicker. Great for us RUclipsrs and film makers alike!

that mimic function. it's like magic
bhphoto has zhiyun crane v2 for $399. if you had to pick between crane v2 or aircross, which one would you pick? this is my first gimbal.
THIS IS GOLD, best gimbal ever made
Awesome! Makes me that much happier that I made this selection. Great work!
That remote feature is awesome! I wish more companies would have that feature. So cool.
Ranger 7 Studios yes the mimic motion is very cool. So far I found it only in this the Moza Air and the much more expensive movi gimbals
Would you be able to compare it to Zhiyun PLUS??
I just ordered one for my GH4, it seems ideal for my semi pro needs and I like that it includes a control cable for the Panasonic & that accessories screw thread is a nice touch!
Ordered one that should be here next week and looking forward to it. Thanks for the review!
Joseph Jacobs it’s going to be dope
Great review as usual Tommy! When it becomes available I'm snatching one up. I was on the fence and leaning toward the zhiyune, but this review sealed the deal. Thanks and blessings to you and the fam my bro!!!!

I love the color grading here. It would be great if you can share this lut ot anything like that.
Thanks for the review - simple, thorough, and so easy to understand. Leaning towards buying this gimbal!
I am sold👏🏿✌🏿👌🏿💯 I am more amazed at the price. They have seriously under cut the competition👌🏿
good video! Do you know, if this gimbal is compatible with a olympus camera?
Thank you for your work. Specially the addition of the all follow mode. Im purchasing the moza aircross now and will share some input soon. Keep shooting guys! Cheers! 🥂

wow...thank you Panasonic G9 is supported ..?
Pan follow , pan tilt ? where did you see that mode or press on your gimbal
How long to charge the battery ? Is the battery can handle overcharge ?
I have no idea how to get my a6400 on this gimbal it’s like the plate on the gimbal is too small and the side of the camera hits the dc output thing
Is the Mona AirCross big enough for the BMPCC 4k?
How does this compare to the zhiyun weebill? I've been considering in getting this for my BTS guy with a sony a6500+18-105 f/4 setup. Curious to see if it can support a longer lens than what’s in your video like a sigma 18-35 1.8
Hi Tom! thanks for the review! I have a question, does the thumb controler and the motion sensor mode, can you also control the roll? or only the pitch and yaw? thanks!

Can i use this with Nikon d3500? Total weight with the lens 690
I have a question about DC input 12 V on the handgrip(left side of the joystick). What is the purpose for the port.
Interesting. I had a terrible experience with the pilotfly most especially wrt to firmware upgrade and incompatibility with Mac OS. I use the Olympus em1 with its various lenses. thanks Tom for this video!
Hi, I saw some comments saying that the gimbal cannot tilt while it is panning through joystick. Is this already addressed in the firmware updates?
hello. I bought a m50 canon...so you can fully function/use this gimbal with the m50?
Can u pls tell is there a mode that i can use the joystick for roll (pov mode) instead of moving the whole gimbal , thanks.
Hey Tom, could you recommend a nice lens for moza aircross and gh4 set up? It would be so helpful!
How is the reliability of using the gimbal to charge your camera?
hi, what you recomend for my a6300? whith one is better? moza air vs crane v2 vs feyu a2000?
Wonderful review! - one question - does the remote also come with the mount or do you have to buy the mount separately?
Kevin Nealon seperate
Was this shot with ibis on or off?
It would be perfect for me, only if it had the slant design like my Feyiu a1000 does. But I envy that gorgeous swiss-arca adapter base.
Does it works with a reflex camera?
A bit late here but I've experienced gimbal drift with the AirCross whenever I plug an HDMI along with a monitor. Even after calibration I just can't get the gimbal to hold steady for anything inverted or tilted. I was wondering if perhaps upping the motor strength would eliminate this problem.
Would this work with a Sony A7Rii and a Tamron 28-75mm lense? Total wegiht is 2.591 but the lense is long... Would this be ok?
Great gimbal
Mine is coming in January !
Hi! Do you have a visible gap between the vertical motor and the holding axis arm ?
how do you like ? or love it??
What is the power button keep blue and gimbal doesnt move, what does that means?
This does work with DLSR's, under 1.8Kg's.
It’ll work for a canon g7x mark ii?

It's work 77d ?
Will it work with Nikon light weight Dslrs? Is it compatible with Nikon?
can I take motion time-lapse with a Nikon camera?
Good review. The Amazon links had item unavailable. But the full kit was on ebay for US $719.

When I select the all lock mode. It still pans when I move the camera around.
hi, excúseme, this timbal suport a Canon 7D body with lens?
Would this work with a Canon 80D
Is it compatible with Nikon P600 ?
I just bought the moza air cross and I’m waiting for it to get home, one question: in the box do I also find the other bigger handle or do I have to buy it separately?
you need to buy it separately
is the CANON SL2 compatible

Hi Tom, i just wanted to ask if you've tried this Moza Aicross with Sony A7iii?
Thanks in advance...
It works even with Sony A7 series including A7III as well
ok sir
Does anyone know if the gimbal needs to be turned off before using in inverted mode(upsidedown)???
Hey hey.... A question: can you perform inception mode? If I don't move it rotate all the way as it should, but if I walk it stops by about ,45 degree... I installed the newest firmware...
Stanko Beronja , you can. Press and keep joystick while pressing three times power button and you are done.
@@homomagus jeah man I know how to activate it, the problem is it doesnt work really... it works all the way 360° if I am staying in place, but as soon I start walking it rotates about 45 degrees and than stops...
will gh5 and sigma 18-35 work? almost bought zhiyun crane 2 than seen this looks good
yup, Moza aircross can work with a Gh5+sigma 18-35
kay s yes
how can I buy this
