Great to see 1 of 3 Brooklyn Chinatown! While I still think there are 3 in the city one can say food wise there more - like 9 according to this article. I can attest food places they list pretty good ny.eater.com/2019/2/25/18236523/chinatowns-restaurants-elmhurst-homecrest-bensonhurst-east-village-little-neck-forest-hills-nyc

I went to 3 of the places you suggested this morning, Kai feng fu dumpling house, Ba xuyen, and Xinfa bakery. The bahn mi, was ok, I'm partial to Joju in Elmhurst. The dumplings were really good though. But the portuguese egg tart was the best I've had EVER! I got here like 3-4 times a week. I work in flushing queens Chinatown too. And spend a lot of time around Manhattan Chinatown but Brooklyn is easier to get around. The 2nd spot you went to has an equivalent in flushing two I didn’t even know until I realized the flavors were so similar and a worker recognized me and told me that. You should have gotten the honey roast duck though. That’s best thing on there menu. 👌🏾

@@grahamsmith6210 Some claim there are 9. At this point, I think there are at least 6 solid ones. Manhattan's Chinatown, Flushing, Elmhurst, Sunset Park, Sheepshead Bay and Bensonhurst

Those noodles looked amazing. (Both Manhattan & BK)... I use 2 order Garlic Noodles @ a random Chinese spot in Downtown Flushing. I haven’t been able to find them, anywhere else. The place, I went to closed down...Have you ever had Garlic Noodles.

If those are small tofu puddings, I wonder what a large looks like. The smalls are pretty big.

Would love to hear you describe the actual taste of the food you are eating. Descriptive words help when I try to imagine the food. Thanks 🙏

Yes I heard of it. I haven't been there for years. Thirty blocks you say? Wow . I haven't been there since 2006. I tried the food but the food didn't taste like the Chinatown in Manhattan or Flushing Queens. There was a bakery that I really liked. I forgot the name. I'm gonna go back and check it out again. I be all over N.Y.C. I also bet rying all kinds of food. Where are the French restaurants?
