Very true. The DS one can't be brought to America due to the fact it uses licensed characters like the rest of the series. BUT, one of the newer OG series on the PS2 can easily come here and I have noidea why the hell these awesome games are not here at all.
...I have no words to describe this right. I've only got 3 for ya: HOLY....FUKING....AWESOME!!! Makes me wanna learn all things SRW right now! But that's like 100 mecha animes and I'd need a whole lifetime and a job where I get paid for not workin to watch em all. -sighs-
I must say, the creator of this has made quite an impressive video. I really like the splicing of the actual anime clips into the video. A couple of them would be very nice in future animation (namely Mikoto as part of Goldion Crusher. >.>)
Recuerdo que este amv. Estába en un disco dvd el número 5 un día el disco se fregó y ya nunca supe cómo se llamaba está canción al igual que los otros amv que tenía el disco Después de 10 años al fin pide encontrar esta canción
Only the OG series has any chance of coming here. The rest of the main series can't come due to the License issues with already that many studios in the US having one or two license per Mecha Anime. If it wasn't for, i.e. "World Events Productions" (The US License holders of Golion, Dairugger XV and Bismark), then we would have a whole lot of Hot-Blooded Mecha Craze in the entire world!
@jubokusa I really don't know what the case with Yakuza 2 was. Maybe it was because it was torwards the end of the system's lifetime in the US? Who knows?
since the anime series came to america, in US territory it doesn't belong to it's owners, so it would cost just too much regarding copyright.... or something like that.
That is DaiRaiOh, one of the four mechs piloted by one of the four main characters that the player can choose to play as. These mechs do not belong to any series and are purely original.
@KaosMachina Well, they certainly can't use that excuse with the PS3, since all the Yakuza games are japanese with english subtitles. Maybe an OG PS3 release will see the light of day....
Sony has a policy against bringing out games in the US that do not have English voice acting. It's stupid as all get-out, since plenty of hard-core fans would prefer the Japanese anyway, but it's the reason why not. ...unless they dub it. Which seems unlikely.
this....
THIS! !
is what opened the gates for me in high school back in 2008, learning more about super robots, the games, and JAM PROJECT!!!!
This captures the pure essence of what makes SRW so kickass. This is King of all SRW music vids.
This is the best gmv, AND the best Gong amv I have ever seen, impressive work! Really well done job!

Damn man this GMV kicks so many asses!!!
I wish this game was out in The Americas, So many otaku fans would love this!
So many core memories with this video

Wonderful!! I CAN FLY, YOU CAN FLY, WE CAN FLY!!
great AMV!
Goddamn this is wicked. It mostly shows alpha 3, but there are many attacks and mecha from MX. I saw Gunbuster like five times in this video xD

이걸 이길 수 있는 슈로대 매드가 매우 보기 어렵다

This is very sad. More sad there aren't enough people out there that know this!
I do.

@KaosMachina The problem is, how the hell did Yakuza 2 come over with Japanese with English subtitles only? Did Sega just bribe Sony or something?
That is DaiRaiOh, one of the four mechs piloted by one of the four main characters that the player can choose to play as. These mechs do not belong to any series and are purely original.
In short: DaiRaiOh is a Banpresto Original.
@jordancayco its from super robot mx

I like 2D SRW, if they are gonna make it 3D it's got to be MS
from what series is victory? because gong and skill are the only ones i know @2 and @3
Who is the golden mecha during 2:43?
I still say Crispin Freeman could do an awesome English Zengar, given practice.
The only way this could be more epic was if Gurren Lagann was in this.
Why oh why wont they make this game for Americans?
I would buy one, hell Id get one for all my friends to.
/sigh..
A couple of titles.

Cutie Honey at 2:49.
@Signas7 Oh, Sony says that any American PS2 game release has to have an English voice track and Atlus are notoriously cheap bastards.
yea i know beautiful eh? :P
