    Are participants in the camp counselor program subject to the 212E rule? What does it mean by the first category of those subject to 212E: Government funded exchange program? How do I know it the program is government funded? Thank you for your reply.

    • @j-1visaconsulting258
      @j-1visaconsulting258  2 года назад

      Hello Katherine. Foreign nationals can check their J-1 visa stamps or their DS-2019 form to see if they're subject to the 212e rule. Government funded means the foreign national is receiving their salary from a government source. This will also be listed on the DS-2019 form under funding.

    Hello i have a couple of questions :
    I am 24 and i was graduated in 2020.
    As soon as graduation I went to Romania as a volunteer for kids for a year. Will it be beneficial for me to have the relevant document in the visa application?
    2- After volunteering, now i came back home to Turkey. This year i will go for second university. I will apply for the visa during first grade. Is that possible?
    I have been 19 countries so far in ten years. I have 3 schengen visas. Do they see on the screen or i have to tell them about those?
    3: What are my chances to get the visa for summer camp?
    Thank you in advance.

      Hello. You should have and submit any relevant documentation in regards to work you have done with kids. You should be able to apply while you're a student. In regards to the visas, you should answer all of the questions truthfully on the DS-160 non-immigrant application. Good luck!

    I had my interview in December 2021 for J-1 visa and put under administrative processing. It has been 6 x months since my interview for J-1 visa and yet no update.
    I wanted to ask if my visa gets approval on completion of administrative processing, do I need to submit renewed copy of DS-2019 with my passport to consular for signature and stamping or my 1st DS-2019 form on which my visa application put under administrative processing will suffice for traveling.
