Thanks for the explanation. I'm subject to 2 years home requirement. After 2 years, should I be allowed to go back as visitor or tourist? If yes, shoud I need to fulfill another process ?
Thanks, Jim for the informative and elaborative video. I went to the US on a J-1 visa last year and I am subject to the 212e rule. However I have withdrawn from the program two weeks into it for some existing reasons and came back home. It was a 12-week long leadership training program. Now that I am into the first rule at home, I was thinking of waiving it since I did not complete the program. My program providers told me that the rule does apply to me as it's stamped on my passport. Do you think getting a waiver in this case is difficult? And will this termination of the program affect my future visa applications? Thank you.

How long does i-751 take to get approved? I filled mine in December still nothing except a letter saying my green card is extended for 48 months.

No, you need to file it when you are applying for adjustment of status. Jim

I want to ask a question. I got 5 year J1 visa and 2 year rule does not apply. In my ds2019 form, I have 1 month work. And I know that I have plus 1 month for travelling, so I will be staying 2 months in america. Can I work with that visa at another place ? I'd be glad ıf you answer 😊

I don't think the program allows pregnancy on the programs. Double check your contract.
