  • This technique involves spraying Versafine Claire with anhydrous ethanol alcohol (99.5%) to stamp or create a background.
    Versafine Claire is an oil-based pigment ink and does not dissolve in water. If you spray alcohol directly on a stamp or a material that does not absorb ink, it will dissolve, so if you transfer it to paper before it is completely mixed, you can create an interesting drop pattern.
    Transfer anhydrous ethanol to an alcohol sprayer. Spraying from a distance will create a fine drop pattern, while spraying from close up will create a large circle pattern.
