I took my mom's crystal gravy bowl and put it on a hall bathroom countertop with a bar of Dove unscented soap that fits the bottom perfectly. Then I went looking for other crystal holders. I turned over one of my mom's crystal bowls with a stand, added a tray on top that we got as a wedding present and then added a votive candle holder in glass to hold rings, plus it holds my glass with granite pieces in the bottom. I use that to hold makeup brushes. It came from my wedding decorations from 1996. That tray also holds another brass and crystal votive candle holder that is just the right round size for my reusable cloth facial cleaning pads. I ended up buying some crystal liquid soap holders and one for lotion so I could make my counter less cluttered with branded bottles.😢 I could just get my husband to keep the crystal theme on his side of our vanity... it was fun to repurpose those items that just sat in a kitchen cabinet unused. I smile every day when I see the items being used in a non traditional way.

I love that rechargeable table lamp! I purchased a pair to use at outdoor vendor events where I sell my candles. They look great and provide great light without the cost of batteries! I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy and well made they are.
Thanks for the tip on Lowe's fall home decor and artwork.I decorate my home to my liking and style regardless of the trends that rapidly come and go.If there's a trend I like I might add it like the color red,mixing metals and tactile artwork.Other than that,my home is my happy place,and I decor in what makes me smile and happy!!!❤️

I don't care too much about design trends but I LOVE watching you & I think your place is awesome. Now I'm going back to the beginning of this video b/c I SWEAR I heard you say something about putting a light on the toilet? I'm surely mistaken...probably mcouldn't hear properly over the crunch of my potato chips...

Wonderful ideas! I have a little trick for prints to look more luxurious… (I thrift a lot) I take the glass off an paint modge podge little strokes in the direction of how it would be painted. Trees, dap the brush. Let completely dry, put back in frame and TaDa! You have a print that looks somewhat like an original painting! Let me know if you try this and what you think.
Re: rugs: I've gotten great rugs from Wayfair when they're on sale. I got two gorgeous wool 5x7 rugs for 200$ each on sale. I was looking about a month later and they were then 100$. They look spectacular in my "garden room." I've gotten other wool rugs from there at my previous house and I don't think I've spent over 400 for a wool rug. You have to look, though. Love ya channel. xx
