I mean it's understandable. Aloy can never accept thanks, help or praise. It's kind of disrespectful. I love Aloy but it is one of her more annoying traits.

You forgot that sassy woman in Stone's Echo... the gardener who Aloy talks to after recovering from her first battle with the Zeniths. That woman sassed Aloy hilariously.

It was interesting that unlike the first game, a lot of the jabs and burns this time around are at Aloy instead of coming from her.
This was a very good choice by the devs, lest Aloy steered into mary sue territory.
(if other characters don't treat the protagonist like shit when they mess up, no amount of Ls are gonna fix that)
