I have been a believer and follower of Jesus Christ for 50 years. I have read the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation before and some of it made sense but most of it was hazy. Now, through your teachings and the teachings of others the prophesies are coming into focus. It is as if the scales are being lifted from the eyes of the believers to see clearly we are near the 70th week just as Daniel clearly saw he was at the end of the 70 years of captivity foretold by Jeremiah. I believe God is preparing us for the trials and tribulations of the last 7 years. Many Christians seem to believe we shall be raptured before it happens so they don't bother themselves to try to learn of the last week because they believe it doesn't apply to them. I don't know when the rapture will happen whether it is before or during the 7 years of tribulation but either way it is vitally important for us to know the truth. For God would not have given us the Books of Daniel and Revelation had he not wanted us to know. The time is near. Be prepared. Be faithful. God's love and mercy is real.

THANK YOU. I have been studying these 4 verses for weeks now, read many different interpretations of this and have found more confusion and people trying to fit their view into these scriptures. I started reading Sir Robert Anderson’s book you mentioned and have finally found the scholarly interpretation that makes perfect sense. I have been digging through a lot of his historical detail which supports his view which does get a bit long. BUT YOU HAVE made this very concise and understandable. My hope and intention is that in 2019 I can get back to doing videos in English again, specifically on the rest of the chapters in Daniel that I’ve not done videos on yet; those are chapters 10 through 12. I’ve been doing a lot of work for the past 3 or 4 years on foreign language versions of the prophecies of Daniel videos. Based on Matthew 10:5-7, and Romans 1:16, and Galatians 1:14-18, the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews for about 7 years before Paul took the Gospel to the Gentiles. This was the 70th week of Daniel during the first century. The following comes from the 1599 Geneva Bible, which is the Bible the Pilgrims brought to America. Dan 9:27 And he shal confirme the couenant with many for one weeke: and in the middes of the weeke he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the ouerspreading of the abominations, he shall make it desolate, euen vntill the consummation determined shalbe powred vpon the desolate. Daniel 9:27 And he (a) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to (b) cease, (c) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (a) By the preaching of the Gospel he affirmed his promise, first to the Jews, and after to the Gentiles. (b) Christ accomplished this by his death and resurrection. (c) Meaning that Jerusalem and the sanctuary would be utterly destroyed because of their rebellion against God, and their idolatry: or as some read, that the plague will be so great, that they will all be astonished at them. .

Spent best part of an hour listening to Dan 9. Most of what you said on this very complex chapter made a lot uf sense, notwithstanding, your take on “everlasting righteousness “ has me stumped 🤔 I myself always had understood for a long time that this “everlasting righteousness” spoken of was the sacrifice of Christ ( his being cut off) is what actually brought in this “everlasting righteousness “ ie., our only righteousness being ‘bought with a price’ by this one act of Jesus death on the cross--did it not bring in everlasting righteousness? And if not what else could bring it in ? I’m saying this righteousness is available to all who want it : it goes without saying we have no righteousness of our own. This is simply my take on the subject of everlasting righteousness. I could very well be wrong..and I’m remaining in a flexible mode on this whole theme. I really found your insights very clear and well thought out !

Exactly sir... I studied Bible and that's what I understood. And the NABRE Bible translates it as "bridal week". And so, 7 years work, first marriage, One week or bridal week, then 2nd marriage and then 7 years of work for the 2nd wife who he loved and later 6 years for flock! Here is a verse from the Bible: These twenty years I have been in your house; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times. Genesis 31:41 NRSV If he meant, 7 years by week then that would be 21years (7+7+7) in total without working for the flock. Because Bible says he married 2nd time after the bridal week and then worked 7 years for her 2nd wife. Which completely fits! (7+7+6) so, no year in between marrying the two wives. Only few days... So what he meant didn't make sense to me at all, year can't be meant by week here from what I understood...
@@MLeoM I'm just a beginner in Christian Apologetics, but I'm not sure why you're so bound up in what Moses stated in Genesis 29 : 27 vis-a-vis what Daniel said in his book, 9 : 24. The word is clearly שְׁבֻ֣עַ or transliterated to English as Shebua, and translates to "seven." These can be days or years, or a "heptad." I'm not sure how or why you're trying to equate the word to 20 some-odd days, (edit:) or in this case years.

I wasn't bound up, my mind is open, as long as I see it works. Well that was according to easy interpretation of the verses using the reading how it is meant to be read. Nothing else. And I also took cultural condition of that time into consideration... I am sorry I couldn't understand what you said, and still word for word is not what we should do. Words and their meaning change throughout the time (just like the meaning of the English word "let" it could mean something different). Even if it didn't change I think that was what was being said. Please note: I didn't read it in Hebrew, I read it in my own local language, and "year" was said and just like you said, it could mean days or weeks.

I was saying, *7 years* he marries one daughter, then he realizes he was tricked, and then he give *a week* for her and marries the other daughter of the man, then *7 years* then *6 years* for the flock. If the word that is translated into English and other languages as years can mean week, and we have to replace it with weeks or days then why don't we replace all of the same word with the one we chose to replace with. @@MLeoM As in Bible prophecy, there can be two meanings behind it. For instance, when Mr. McMillion -- Mr. M -- goes over the Abomination of Desolation, an earlier occurrence of the Abomination (the desecrating of the Temple) occurred during the Maccabean intertestamental period (the 400 years between Malachi's book and Jesus coming to tabernacle with us) when Antiochus Epiphanes sacrificed a pig on the Temple altar. But then the second occurrence will happen in the middle of the Tribulation when the Anti-Christ will desecrate the rebuilt Temple which will happen during the Tribulation, which is yet future, as seen in Daniel 9 : 27. The same can be applied here as far as the 70 years of captivity in which the Jewish people were held from when Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem and the two southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin. Daniel along with his three friends were taken in the first deportation to Babylon as Mr. M states in 604 BC. The Jewish people were released from their captivity 70 years later and fulfilled Jeremiah's prophecy of the captivity being 70 years, but Daniel lived his last days in Babylon because he was too old to go back to the Beautiful Land as he calls Israel. The second part of the prophecy relating to the end times is the 70 שְׁבֻ֣עַ of years as explained by the angel Gabriel to Daniel -- they are years rather than days per Mr. M's example in Genesis 29:27. Therefore the 70 שְׁבֻ֣עַ Years = 70x7 = 490 years. These are the number of years the Jewish people have to get rid of sin and usher in eternal righteousness. Think of the 490 years as being a Jewish stopwatch. This clock only ran and will run when the Jewish people were and will be the center of the Almighty's plans on the world stage. 483 of the years have run off from Artasxerxes order to rebuild Jerusalem (not the Temple) given to Nehemiah to the exact time when Jesus when he rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday -- I believe -- in 32AD (Mr. M believes it was 33AD because he has the King's order to rebuild being 444 BC not 445. I disagree with Mr. M who says that 483 years of this stopwatch ran off from Artasxerxes proclamation to Jesus death for us on the Cross. I think it was when he revealed Himself as King by riding into Yerushalayim on a donkey, just as David did some 1,000+ years before Jesus. This fulfilled Zechariah 9:9 about a man being anointed king by riding a donkey. As Mr. M says in this video, there were 69 Jewish years of 360 days x 7 years in a week = 173,880 days that ran off the Jewish stopwatch. The miracle of this prophecy is that Jesus did ride into Jersualem right at 173,880 days after Artasxerxes gave the proclamation to Nehemiah to rebuild the city. Here's the math: 445 BC Proclamation by Artasxerxes 32 AD when Jesus rode into Jerusalem as King Add these two: 445 +32 AD - 1 year (subtract one year because there is no year 0) =476 solar years x 365.25 days/solar year = 173,859 days Compare this with 173,880 and you have a difference of 21 days. There are other adjustments -- Godly adjustments -- that will make the prophecy correct to the exact day because God knows everything. Then you have Jesus "being cutoff," meaning, He died a very violent death for us on the cross. Then about 36 years after Jesus returned to heaven, Titus the Roman general destroyed Jerusalem and burned down the Temple. The Romans were trying to collect all the gold from the Temple so they set fire to it. These two occurrences fulfilled Daniel 9 : 26. The Old Testament prophets including Daniel did not "see" the Age of Grace, also known as the Christian Dispensation or the Church Age. This is the variable time period which is now about 2,000 years in which Israel has not been in the world's spotlight. So the Jewish stopwatch has been stopped at 483 years of the 490 total in which the nation and the people of Israel are to get rid of sin and usher in eternal righteousness. The last seven years will be a time of Jacob's Trouble, when God will try the nation and the world to get rid of their sin. Jacob's Trouble is also known as the Tribulation, when the upheaval of the world will be nothing like it has ever seen. After these last seven years run its course, then Israel will cry out to God and Zechariah 12: 9-10 will be fulfilled -- God will pour out His Spirit on the people, and they will cry out to God to save them from their enemies, and Jesus will return to save them as fulfilled in Matthew 23:37-39. Then at the end of these last seven years, Christ will set up his Kingdom on earth known as the Millennial Age of 1,000 years. Hope this helps at least somewhat. Reading carefully Daniel chapter 9 verse 26, we read the Messiah arrives. Then, "AFTER", threescore and two weeks shall the Messiah be cut off. So, it's clear that after means you are now in the 70th week. Jesus is cut off in the 70th week because, as it says, it's after the 69th week. This is how it's interpreted to continue the consecutive weeks of this prophecy correctly. Nowhere in that 70 week prophecy was it interrupted. Jesus did reconcile for iniquity with the new covenant he brought. He brought an end to sin by being a covering for us. That's the whole point behind his blood being shed for us. We don't have to wait for that. We have been reconciled to God, call that righteousness. Righteousness means having right standing with God himself. Jesus said in John, that his kingdom was not of this world. Because of the Jews disobedience, Jesus made his kingdom in a spiritual way. He destroyed the temple because we are now going to worship him in spirit and truth. Remember the Samaritan woman at the well? John 4:21 through 24. Jesus told her that soon, she would no longer worship in the Temple, she would worship in spirit and truth. The new Jerusalem is the kingdom of God that we are connected to,in spirit, as referred to in Ephesians chapter 2 verse 16. Continue reading down to verse 22. It's clear that this is a spiritual kingdom that he set up. That's why his temple dwells within us. Notice in Daniel 9:27, he says he confirms a covenant with many for one week. That's because they're in the last week, the 70th week. Reading and Jeremiah 31:31 we see that he forgives iniquity. He says I will remember their sin no more. Remembering it no more, is making us right standing with him, through Christ, in spirit. We are not sin free, but his own sacrifice makes us new through faith. We shall pass from life to life if we die in Christ. Here is how I see Daniel 9: Daniel has a vision which was told to him 3 times by Gabriel that it was for the end of time in chapter 8.. In chapter 9 Daniel was praying and Gabriel came again to make him understand the vision of the 70 years of desolations of Jerusalem. Gabriel told him: 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy (the return of Christ, the end of time). 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem, (this is the retaking of Jerusalem during the 6 day war) unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks ( of years=49 years), and threescore and two weeks (weeks of days=62 weeks=1 year and 10 weeks): the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times(this has been done since 1967 and is only place for Jews to pray because they cannot pray onthe mount). 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself (no more prayers at the wall when the city falls): and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (all Jewish and Christain houses of faith); and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (the only covenant is Gods covenant with Jews and he will extend it for the 70th week): and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease (the sacrifice for sins is the blood and body of Christ, the sacrifice, in communion in houses of faith), and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. This could be Gods timeline for the end which is given in detail in Chapter 11. Starts 1967 and covers a jubilee cycle, where the final week, 70th week, begins 4/6/2019, Nisan 1 and 10 weeks later Jerusalem falls, 6/15/2019. Time will tell, we are right around the corner to see if this is Gods timeline.
Uh no, we've got two anointed ones. Do you have any idea why Daniel was crying? He was torn by Jeremiah's two prophesies. Jer. 29:10 and Jer 25:12 One was fulfilled, and one was not yet. Daniel was terrified. The angel Gabriel gave him the correct formula on the prophesy. The moshiach, the anointed one, referred to is Cyrus NOT "Jesus". The church conflates two periods of time for its calculations. The church rips the text to pieces. 490 years have been determined to wipe away iniquity. Christian bibles want you to believe Messiah means moshiach. Moshiach appears in Tanakh 38 times. (Mostly appears in Leviticus to describe the annointed priests) “to pour”, those people of leadership to perform g-d's work on earth, oil was poured on one’s head. Moshiach was anointed for a particular position. In the 21st century,, when we say Moshiach, we mean, the person who will come in the end of days. In the Hebrew scriptures, , Moshiach, In biblical times, any leader, any priest a moshiach, see how often mentioned Leviticus 5. In 36 places the church refers this to moshiach as annointed and ONLY in Daniel the church capitalizes a capital M and makes it appear like “The Messiah”. The church adds “THE” “M”essiah. Daniel does not add "Ha" meaning 'the' in Hebrew to Moshiach, Daniel 9 is all in Hebrew. Who is this anointed one of royalty? Cyrus (but he is a gentile), Read Isaiah 44:28 to 45:1. Whom says of Cyrus, he is my shepherd and a temple shall be built. Isaiah identifies Cyrus as coming the next year and he is the moshiach, a novi, anointed for the purpose of building Jerusalem. Ezra 1:1-3 Cyrus the king. "Jesus' was not prophesied anywhere in the Hebrew Scriptures. The priests where cut off, they need the temple which was destroyed. The only valid sources to rely on is the Tanakh, the Hebrew scriptures, nothing reliable about the "NT".

I will copy in here some of the information I found. “The Living Bible is a personal paraphrase, not a translation, of the Bible in English by Kenneth N. Taylor and first published in 1971. Taylor used the American Standard Version of 1901 as his base text. From Wikipedia” “The original Living Bible is a paraphrase based on the American Standard Version of 1901, which is a very accurate translation. It is on the far end of the spectrum from, for example, the New American Standard Bible, which was translated as closely to what was written as possible.” As I said in the video, The Living Bible is not a version of the Bible I use except I think in this one place. Just one comment...you had a footnote on the graphic at about the 19 minute mark that says you skipped from 1 BC to 1 AD, presumably to make the math work. Just wanted to point out that when you do the math, it comes to 32.06, which technically puts you in the year 33 AD or .06 of a year beyond 32 AD. No need to skip a year.
Mark. My very own understanding from years past is this. The continual sacrifice is the daily sacrifice of the Lord Jesus given to us by himself. His very own sacrifice of giving his own blood and body as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins to whosoever believes on him that we in his church uphold. Without going into detail I have concluded that approximately, GIVE or TAKE days, 120 days are left till the end. BUT as quoted, NO man knowest the time, or hour. Please note this is my very own assessment, and none other. I hope this is of some assistance to you.

Evangel Fellowship - on YT - has done a very well put together animated study on Daniel and they see this very differently. I am still in the fence as to whether Jesus fulfilled 3 1/2 years of the 70th week and the antichrist gets his 3 1/2 years. I'm ready for Jesus to come back and don't know whether we will be raptured mid or post trib...pre's no longer an option as we are IN tribulation - maybe not fully in the West but ask a Chinese Christian if they don't think so! I'm also wondering when - if we are still here - the Two Witnesses will show up. Thanks for the teaching. Most important thing is to be saved and watching, waiting and praying for His soon return. The lock down and diabolical tyranny we are all facing has made me look at the End Times differently as not one modern day teacher or "prophet" of the Word saw what we are facing right now so we need to be flexible on how we interpret things based on that fact imho. interesting topic, but i am really confused in some point about the year of rebuilding the temple and jerusalem. And i need answer for these for enlightenment. First in history, king Cyrus conquered babylon in 539 bc. It means to me that his first year of reign was 539 bc. In Ezra 1: 1 and on, it implies there that Cyrus made a decree to restore and build jerusalem in his first year of reign as king.Also written in Ezra 6: 3 it say's; In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits; Although the jews were still captive then until 536. Now, in Ezra 6:14-15 it say's, 14 And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia. 15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king... It is clear to me that house of the Lord or the temple were completed in the "6th yr reign of Darius". Darius reign about 521-486bc. So it means that in the year 515 the temple was already finished and dedicated to God as the verses say's. Now, Artexerxes rule about 464-424 bc. If Artaxerxes issued the decree in 444bc that means the temple were not built yet until 398bc? if the temple took 46 yrs to build? its way to long for me. Because it appears that from 535 to 398 it's 137 yrs difference! way to much if there was no jewish temple yet in those period! It my understanding, it was the wall and the jerusalem community order with whom artaxerxes issued the decree but not the rebuilding of the temple. Because the temple were already standing and completed during the 6th year reign of Darius starting from 521 bc equal to 515 bc! And the rebuilding was not 46 years it's only 20 yrs from 535 bc. Still not convinced about the beginning of this prophecy 444BC. Book of Ezra gives account of a number of decrees, which one are you referring to as given in 444BC?
Except God never did such a Time prophecy ever in the Bible ..the starting date is Ezra chapter 7 verse 9 it gives (you the exact day (the first day of the first month )...!goes from year to year to the ending date of the last day of the year 26,( on the Jewish calendar)! the next day is (Nissan one)! which is exactly what it says in the beginning of Ezra chapter 7 verse 9 established by God himself (in Exodus 12:2)!!! it's just that simple !!why that day ??it goes to Jesus birthday. He was Rabbi on his 30th birthday.

I thought that after marrying it's a tradition that a husband has to do by staying with his wife for a week... So Jacob married the one he loved after the bridal week and then worked 7 years for her. Just as he did for the elder daughter of Leban. So, 7+7, I thought you meant 7 years as the "week" which would suggest he worked for 7+7+7years=21years. But it is written: These twenty years I have been in your house; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times. Genesis 31:41 NRSV So 20 years. 7+7+6. the last six for flock. First he married, after 7 years of working, then no week (meaning 7years) in between two wives but a normal week, or a few days. Then he married his 2nd wife and then the work for the second wife he married 7 years. Maybe I am wrong on this (that you meant 7 years by that "week"). Please sir, enlightenment me.. How can the first 69 weeks be consecutive and last week not be consecutive? Why is there a 2000 years separation between the 69th and 70th week this is incongruent. It's like I'm driving a 70 mile journey and when I get to mile 69 I'm being told to drive an additional 2000 plus miles in order to get to the 79th mile.
Because it's like an inheritance if you're my son .and I'm telling you you're going to inherit so much. and I give you 60% of it now. and I give you the last part when I die. that is how this prophecy is written in chronological order... it is not written to you in the first place )...it is written to Daniel his people an his City for all of time! they came back into the land May 14th 1948 ..as soon as (that agreement starts it's the last 7 years pertaining to the city!) Thank you...ive been meaning to understand the 69 weeks and the 70th...why the gap, and why the 70th has not yet been fulfilled like the preterists claimed. If Jesus died on 33AD, then add 7 years to that would be 40 AD. Jerusalem was destroyed in AD 70...So the preterists claim is not true.
So, are you saying that the 7 year tribulation period is going to be less than 7 actual years? In our modern times, we record each year as having 365 1/4 x 7 = 2556.69 days. If we consider the 360 days as a year, then it will be 2550 days = 6.981663 years, which is almost a week less than an actual year. Maybe this fits in with, "And except those days be shortened, there shall no flesh be saved?" along with what scientists measure as the increasing rate at which our universe is expanding? A few things here. The period of the great tribulation is repeatedly given as 42 months or 1260 days, which is approximately 3 ½ years. I’ve heard some say, “We may not know the day and the hour of the Lord’s return, but as we get into the last 3 ½ years, we may get to where we’ll have pretty good idea of the month or the week.” As Jesus said in Matthew 24, “When you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place…then shall be great tribulation”. Verses 15 and 21
You might want to do those math equations again ..get a calculator out and multiply 7 * 360 also. multiply 7 * 365.25 and see whether your numbers that you put up their make any sense?
I totally agree because when peter asks Jesus how many times to forgive, he told him 70(7) figurative with 490years to make an end of sin.

I have been a believer and follower of Jesus Christ for 50 years. I have read the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation before and some of it made sense but most of it was hazy. Now, through your teachings and the teachings of others the prophesies are coming into focus. It is as if the scales are being lifted from the eyes of the believers to see clearly we are near the 70th week just as Daniel clearly saw he was at the end of the 70 years of captivity foretold by Jeremiah. I believe God is preparing us for the trials and tribulations of the last 7 years. Many Christians seem to believe we shall be raptured before it happens so they don't bother themselves to try to learn of the last week because they believe it doesn't apply to them. I don't know when the rapture will happen whether it is before or during the 7 years of tribulation but either way it is vitally important for us to know the truth. For God would not have given us the Books of Daniel and Revelation had he not wanted us to know. The time is near. Be prepared. Be faithful. God's love and mercy is real.

Based on Matthew 10:5-7, and Romans 1:16, and Galatians 1:14-18, the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews for about 7 years before Paul took the Gospel to the Gentiles. This was the 70th week of Daniel during the first century.
The following comes from the 1599 Geneva Bible, which is the Bible the Pilgrims brought to America.
Dan 9:27 And he shal confirme the couenant with many for one weeke: and in the middes of the weeke he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the ouerspreading of the abominations, he shall make it desolate, euen vntill the consummation determined shalbe powred vpon the desolate.

Spent best part of an hour listening to Dan 9. Most of what you said on this very complex chapter made a lot uf sense, notwithstanding, your take on “everlasting righteousness “ has me stumped 🤔 I myself always had understood for a long time that this “everlasting righteousness” spoken of was the sacrifice of Christ ( his being cut off) is what actually brought in this “everlasting righteousness “ ie., our only righteousness being ‘bought with a price’ by this one act of Jesus death on the cross--did it not bring in everlasting righteousness? And if not what else could bring it in ?
I’m saying this righteousness is available to all who want it : it goes without saying we have no righteousness of our own. This is simply my take on the subject of everlasting righteousness.
I could very well be wrong..and I’m remaining in a flexible mode on this whole theme.

I believe when leaving told Jacob to fulfill Leah's week, he was referring to the week of the wedding celebration.
Exactly sir... I studied Bible and that's what I understood. And the NABRE Bible translates it as "bridal week".
And so, 7 years work, first marriage,
One week or bridal week, then 2nd marriage and then 7 years of work for the 2nd wife who he loved and later 6 years for flock! Here is a verse from the Bible:

If he meant, 7 years by week then that would be 21years (7+7+7) in total without working for the flock. So what he meant didn't make sense to me at all, year can't be meant by week here from what I understood...
@@MLeoM I'm just a beginner in Christian Apologetics, but I'm not sure why you're so bound up in what Moses stated in Genesis 29 : 27 vis-a-vis what Daniel said in his book, 9 : 24. The word is clearly שְׁבֻ֣עַ or transliterated to English as Shebua, and translates to "seven." These can be days or years, or a "heptad." I'm not sure how or why you're trying to equate the word to 20 some-odd days, (edit:) or in this case years.

I am sorry I couldn't understand what you said, and still word for word is not what we should do. Words and their meaning change throughout the time (just like the meaning of the English word "let" it could mean something different). Even if it didn't change I think that was what was being said.
Please note: I didn't read it in Hebrew, I read it in my own local language, and "year" was said and just like you said, it could mean days or weeks.

*7 years* he marries one daughter, then he realizes he was tricked, and then he give *a week* for her and marries the other daughter of the man, then *7 years* then *6 years* for the flock.

If the word that is translated into English and other languages as years can mean week, and we have to replace it with weeks or days then why don't we replace all of the same word with the one we chose to replace with.
Anyway it doesn't matter much for our salvation, we could hear it from the man himself! I mean Jacob. In Heaven.

@@MLeoM As in Bible prophecy, there can be two meanings behind it.
For instance, when Mr. McMillion -- Mr. M -- goes over the Abomination of Desolation, an earlier occurrence of the Abomination (the desecrating of the Temple) occurred during the Maccabean intertestamental period (the 400 years between Malachi's book and Jesus coming to tabernacle with us) when Antiochus Epiphanes sacrificed a pig on the Temple altar. But then the second occurrence will happen in the middle of the Tribulation when the Anti-Christ will desecrate the rebuilt Temple which will happen during the Tribulation, which is yet future, as seen in Daniel 9 : 27.
The same can be applied here as far as the 70 years of captivity in which the Jewish people were held from when Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem and the two southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin. Daniel along with his three friends were taken in the first deportation to Babylon as Mr. M states in 604 BC.
The Jewish people were released from their captivity 70 years later and fulfilled Jeremiah's prophecy of the captivity being 70 years, but Daniel lived his last days in Babylon because he was too old to go back to the Beautiful Land as he calls Israel.
The second part of the prophecy relating to the end times is the 70 שְׁבֻ֣עַ of years as explained by the angel Gabriel to Daniel -- they are years rather than days per Mr. M's example in Genesis 29:27. Therefore the 70 שְׁבֻ֣עַ Years = 70x7 = 490 years. These are the number of years the Jewish people have to get rid of sin and usher in eternal righteousness.
Think of the 490 years as being a Jewish stopwatch. This clock only ran and will run when the Jewish people were and will be the center of the Almighty's plans on the world stage.
483 of the years have run off from Artasxerxes order to rebuild Jerusalem (not the Temple) given to Nehemiah to the exact time when Jesus when he rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday -- I believe -- in 32AD (Mr. M believes it was 33AD because he has the King's order to rebuild being 444 BC not 445.
I disagree with Mr. M who says that 483 years of this stopwatch ran off from Artasxerxes proclamation to Jesus death for us on the Cross. I think it was when he revealed Himself as King by riding into Yerushalayim on a donkey, just as David did some 1,000+ years before Jesus. This fulfilled Zechariah 9:9 about a man being anointed king by riding a donkey.
As Mr. M says in this video, there were 69 Jewish years of 360 days x 7 years in a week = 173,880 days that ran off the Jewish stopwatch. The miracle of this prophecy is that Jesus did ride into Jersualem right at 173,880 days after Artasxerxes gave the proclamation to Nehemiah to rebuild the city. Here's the math:
445 BC Proclamation by Artasxerxes
32 AD when Jesus rode into Jerusalem as King
Add these two: 445 +32 AD - 1 year (subtract one year because there is no year 0)
=476 solar years x 365.25 days/solar year
= 173,859 days
Compare this with 173,880 and you have a difference of 21 days. There are other adjustments -- Godly adjustments -- that will make the prophecy correct to the exact day because God knows everything.
Then you have Jesus "being cutoff," meaning, He died a very violent death for us on the cross. Then about 36 years after Jesus returned to heaven, Titus the Roman general destroyed Jerusalem and burned down the Temple. The Romans were trying to collect all the gold from the Temple so they set fire to it. These two occurrences fulfilled Daniel 9 : 26.
The Old Testament prophets including Daniel did not "see" the Age of Grace, also known as the Christian Dispensation or the Church Age. This is the variable time period which is now about 2,000 years in which Israel has not been in the world's spotlight. So the Jewish stopwatch has been stopped at 483 years of the 490 total in which the nation and the people of Israel are to get rid of sin and usher in eternal righteousness.
The last seven years will be a time of Jacob's Trouble, when God will try the nation and the world to get rid of their sin. Jacob's Trouble is also known as the Tribulation, when the upheaval of the world will be nothing like it has ever seen.
After these last seven years run its course, then Israel will cry out to God and Zechariah 12: 9-10 will be fulfilled -- God will pour out His Spirit on the people, and they will cry out to God to save them from their enemies, and Jesus will return to save them as fulfilled in Matthew 23:37-39.
Then at the end of these last seven years, Christ will set up his Kingdom on earth known as the Millennial Age of 1,000 years.

Reading carefully Daniel chapter 9 verse 26, we read the Messiah arrives. Then, "AFTER", threescore and two weeks shall the Messiah be cut off. So, it's clear that after means you are now in the 70th week. Jesus is cut off in the 70th week because, as it says, it's after the 69th week. This is how it's interpreted to continue the consecutive weeks of this prophecy correctly. Nowhere in that 70 week prophecy was it interrupted. Jesus did reconcile for iniquity with the new covenant he brought. He brought an end to sin by being a covering for us. That's the whole point behind his blood being shed for us. We don't have to wait for that. We have been reconciled to God, call that righteousness. Righteousness means having right standing with God himself. Jesus said in John, that his kingdom was not of this world. Because of the Jews disobedience, Jesus made his kingdom in a spiritual way. He destroyed the temple because we are now going to worship him in spirit and truth. Remember the Samaritan woman at the well? John 4:21 through 24. Jesus told her that soon, she would no longer worship in the Temple, she would worship in spirit and truth. The new Jerusalem is the kingdom of God that we are connected to,in spirit, as referred to in Ephesians chapter 2 verse 16. Continue reading down to verse 22. It's clear that this is a spiritual kingdom that he set up. That's why his temple dwells within us. Notice in Daniel 9:27, he says he confirms a covenant with many for one week. That's because they're in the last week, the 70th week. Reading and Jeremiah 31:31 we see that he forgives iniquity. He says I will remember their sin no more. Remembering it no more, is making us right standing with him, through Christ, in spirit. We are not sin free, but his own sacrifice makes us new through faith. We shall pass from life to life if we die in Christ. Here is how I see Daniel 9:
Daniel has a vision which was told to him 3 times by Gabriel that it was for the end of time in chapter 8.. In chapter 9 Daniel was praying and Gabriel came again to make him understand the vision of the 70 years of desolations of Jerusalem.
Gabriel told him:

This could be Gods timeline for the end which is given in detail in Chapter 11. Starts 1967 and covers a jubilee cycle, where the final week, 70th week, begins 4/6/2019, Nisan 1 and 10 weeks later Jerusalem falls, 6/15/2019.
Time will tell, we are right around the corner to see if this is Gods timeline.

Uh no, we've got two anointed ones. Do you have any idea why Daniel was crying? He was torn by Jeremiah's two prophesies. Jer. 29:10 and Jer 25:12 One was fulfilled, and one was not yet. Daniel was terrified. The angel Gabriel gave him the correct formula on the prophesy. The moshiach, the anointed one, referred to is Cyrus NOT "Jesus". The church conflates two periods of time for its calculations.
The church rips the text to pieces. 490 years have been determined to wipe away iniquity. Christian bibles want you to believe Messiah means moshiach. Moshiach appears in Tanakh 38 times. (Mostly appears in Leviticus to describe the annointed priests) “to pour”, those people of leadership to perform g-d's work on earth, oil was poured on one’s head. Moshiach was anointed for a particular position. In the 21st century,, when we say Moshiach, we mean, the person who will come in the end of days. In the Hebrew scriptures, , Moshiach, In biblical times, any leader, any priest a moshiach, see how often mentioned Leviticus 5.
In 36 places the church refers this to moshiach as annointed and ONLY in Daniel the church capitalizes a capital M and makes it appear like “The Messiah”. The church adds “THE” “M”essiah. Daniel does not add "Ha" meaning 'the' in Hebrew to Moshiach, Daniel 9 is all in Hebrew.
Who is this anointed one of royalty? Cyrus (but he is a gentile), Read Isaiah 44:28 to 45:1. Whom says of Cyrus, he is my shepherd and a temple shall be built. Isaiah identifies Cyrus as coming the next year and he is the moshiach, a novi, anointed for the purpose of building Jerusalem. Ezra 1:1-3 Cyrus the king.
"Jesus' was not prophesied anywhere in the Hebrew Scriptures. The priests where cut off, they need the temple which was destroyed.
The only valid sources to rely on is the Tanakh, the Hebrew scriptures, nothing reliable about the "NT".

Just one comment...you had a footnote on the graphic at about the 19 minute mark that says you skipped from 1 BC to 1 AD, presumably to make the math work. Just wanted to point out that when you do the math, it comes to 32.06, which technically puts you in the year 33 AD or .06 of a year beyond 32 AD. No need to skip a year.

His very own sacrifice of giving his own blood and body as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins to whosoever believes on him that we in his church uphold. What I noticed is that most of the old testament and the things that happened then are also showing us the things that are going to happen in the end.
Certainly with the prophecies of Daniel there is much there that is yet to be fulfilled in the times leading up to the coming of Jesus.

Evangel Fellowship - on YT - has done a very well put together animated study on Daniel and they see this very differently. I am still in the fence as to whether Jesus fulfilled 3 1/2 years of the 70th week and the antichrist gets his 3 1/2 years. I'm ready for Jesus to come back and don't know whether we will be raptured mid or post trib...pre's no longer an option as we are IN tribulation - maybe not fully in the West but ask a Chinese Christian if they don't think so! I'm also wondering when - if we are still here - the Two Witnesses will show up. Thanks for the teaching. Most important thing is to be saved and watching, waiting and praying for His soon return.
The lock down and diabolical tyranny we are all facing has made me look at the End Times differently as not one modern day teacher or "prophet" of the Word saw what we are facing right now so we need to be flexible on how we interpret things based on that fact imho. God's blessings and Maranatha.

First in history, king Cyrus conquered babylon in 539 bc. It means to me that his first year of reign was 539 bc. In Ezra 1: 1 and on, it implies there that Cyrus made a decree to restore and build jerusalem in his first year of reign as king.Also written in Ezra 6: 3 it say's; In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits; Although the jews were still captive then until 536. Now, in Ezra 6:14-15 it say's, 14 And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king... It is clear to me that house of the Lord or the temple were completed in the "6th yr reign of Darius". Darius reign about 521-486bc. So it means that in the year 515 the temple was already finished and dedicated to God as the verses say's. Now, Artexerxes rule about 464-424 bc. If Artaxerxes issued the decree in 444bc that means the temple were not built yet until 398bc? if the temple took 46 yrs to build? its way to long for me. Because it appears that from 535 to 398 it's 137 yrs difference! way to much if there was no jewish temple yet in those period! It my understanding, it was the wall and the jerusalem community order with whom artaxerxes issued the decree but not the rebuilding of the temple. Because the temple were already standing and completed during the 6th year reign of Darius starting from 521 bc equal to 515 bc! And the rebuilding was not 46 years it's only 20 yrs from 535 bc. Except God never did such a Time prophecy ever in the Bible ..the starting date is Ezra chapter 7 verse 9 it gives (you the exact day (the first day of the first month )...!goes from year to year to the ending date of the last day of the year 26,( on the Jewish calendar)! the next day is (Nissan one)! which is exactly what it says in the beginning of Ezra chapter 7 verse 9 established by God himself (in Exodus 12:2)!!! it's just that simple !!why that day ??it goes to Jesus birthday. He was Rabbi on his 30th birthday.

I thought that after marrying it's a tradition that a husband has to do by staying with his wife for a week...
So Jacob married the one he loved after the bridal week and then worked 7 years for her. Just as he did for the elder daughter of Leban. So, 7+7, I thought you meant 7 years as the "week" which would suggest he worked for 7+7+7years=21years.

So 20 years. 7+7+6. the last six for flock. First he married, after 7 years of working, then no week (meaning 7years) in between two wives but a normal week, or a few days. Then he married his 2nd wife and then the work for the second wife he married 7 years.

How can the first 69 weeks be consecutive and last week not be consecutive? Why is there a 2000 years separation between the 69th and 70th week this is incongruent.
It's like I'm driving a 70 mile journey and when I get to mile 69 I'm being told to drive an additional 2000 plus miles in order to get to the 79th mile.

Thank you...ive been meaning to understand the 69 weeks and the 70th...why the gap, and why the 70th has not yet been fulfilled like the preterists claimed. If Jesus died on 33AD, then add 7 years to that would be 40 AD. Jerusalem was destroyed in AD 70...So the preterists claim is not true.

So, are you saying that the 7 year tribulation period is going to be less than 7 actual years? In our modern times, we record each year as having 365 1/4 x 7 = 2556.69 days. If we consider the 360 days as a year, then it will be 2550 days = 6.981663 years, which is almost a week less than an actual year.
Maybe this fits in with, "And except those days be shortened, there shall no flesh be saved?" along with what scientists measure as the increasing rate at which our universe is expanding?

A few things here. The period of the great tribulation is repeatedly given as 42 months or 1260 days, which is approximately 3 ½ years. I’ve heard some say, “We may not know the day and the hour of the Lord’s return, but as we get into the last 3 ½ years, we may get to where we’ll have pretty good idea of the month or the week.” As Jesus said in Matthew 24, “When you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place…then shall be great tribulation”. Verses 15 and 21
You might want to do those math equations again ..get a calculator out and multiply 7 * 360 also. multiply 7 * 365.25 and see whether your numbers that you put up their make any sense?
