I have a program called AutoCad and I basically drew out 360 days of the year and 365.2422 days of the year. The one controversy is when was the decree, and the other is if the final week was fulfilled already or still future. There are 4 decrees but two of them don't work. So the only ones that do work are the decrees in 458 BC and 444 BC. So if you start with 458 BC and map out both 360 (prophetic years) and 365.2422 (calendar years) together, and count 483 (69 weeks) calendar years, it lands on AD 33 prophetic years. If we start on 444 BC, and count 483 prophetic years it takes you to 33 AD calendar years. Starting 458 BC, and count 490 calendar years (70 weeks), this lands on 33 AD calendar years. Also starting on 458 BC, counting 490 prophetic years, this lands on 33 AD prophetic years. So both 458 BC and 444 BC works. And both 69 weeks and 70 weeks works. Only God can keep this controversy going...lol. This 70 weeks prophecy is divine for sure.

The angel Gabriel came to Daniel who was anxiously awaiting the end of the 70-year-captivity in Babylon. The Babylonian Empire was just overthrown by the Medes, and yet the Jews were still in captivity and Jerusalem was still in ruins. He was praying "O Lord hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.” (Dan 9:19 Holy Bible KJV))
The angel Gabriel came not with a complicated message, but to give Daniel understanding; "And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.” (Dan 9:22-23)
How is it that so many have complicated the message with mathematical gymnastics and major alterations of the text? A week is a week, a year is a year, a day is a day, and an hour is an hour in the entire chapter. Just as in the preceding verses in Chapter 9, the same is true of verses 9:24-27, even as in Chapter 10 (as an example).
The 70 years of captivity of the Jews in Babylon was almost complete. The Babylonian Empire was destroyed, and Darius the Mede took the kingdom. This is the time Daniel anxiously sought understanding of future events. This is when Gabriel bought him the vision. In 70 literal weeks, Cyrus, king of Persia would soon reign in Darius' stead, and it was Cyrus who would be the one God appointed to order the return of the Jews to their homeland to rebuild the temple. (Ezra 1:1-3)
The main focus of all four verses (24-27) of this vision is on the return and rebuilding for Messiah, and on the events surrounding Messiah, not antichrist or the beast which are spoken of elsewhere in scripture. The timing frames the Jews' completion of their punishment for past transgressions until the desolation (again) of Jerusalem by Rome in 70 AD for their future transgressions against their Messiah.

✝️ JESUS IS THE MESSIAH THAT DANIEL PROPHESIED ✝️
The Messiah had to have come in Daniel Week 69, that was in the days of Rome, for the Prince Messiah of Week 69 is also the Prince of the Covenant (who brought the New Covenant) of Daniel 11:22 and is the same Prince of Princes (the Son of Man of Daniel 7, who will reign over the kingdoms of the World) of Daniel 8, and the one against him is Rome, the same one described in Week 69 that would bring down the City and the Temple (70 A.D).
Some want to say that these events did not occur at the time of Rome, and that he is talking about some Seleucid King, but Daniel 8:23 clearly explains that this character arises after the fall of the 4 Kingdoms of Greece (that is, he arises after the fall of the Seleucids, so he cannot be Antiochus)...this is Rome, who became an empire (27 BC) when the last Kingdom, the Ptolemies, was conquered by Rome.
What does all this mean then?...that Jesus was the wounded Messiah prophesied by Daniel, and that anyone claiming to be the Messiah after that date can no longer be considered Messiah, for the prophetic time has already passed, it would be too late...only Jesus fulfilled that prophecy at the exact time, and then the City and the Temple fell as Daniel said
Daniel's prophecy stopped when the City and Temple fell, this is because the prophecy of the 70 Weeks is for the People of Israel and the Holy City (Daniel 9:24), and at present Jerusalem is not fully theirs....
When the City is theirs, and the False Messiah appears, the revival of Rome with a New Herod posing as King of the Jews, making covenant with many, then the 70th Week will begin (the beginning of the events described in Daniel 11:23).... he in the middle of the Week will Reign for 3 and a half years, persecute the Understood of these prophecies, seek the removal of the New Covenant of the lamb from the hearts of those who are God's Temple, and bring Apostasy, exalting himself above all, as if he were God, thus bringing spiritual perdition, and will make alliance with 10 Kings...Egypt, Libya and Ethiopia will fall under his power...and he will return to Jerusalem with armies
This False Messiah is the Little Horn of Daniel 7 and its 10 horns, coming out of the 4th Beast/Rome, and is also the feet of Iron mixed with clay (Iron/Rome, as the Iron of the Legs, resurfaces, making alliances with the 10 toes/Kings)
But in those days of Great Tribulation will return the Nazarene, the True Messiah, from where he ascended, from the East, from the Mount of Olives, and will defeat those Kings of the False Messiah/Gog, when he is surrounding Jerusalem with his armies....for in the last days the sealed Book of Daniel will be opened, and the kingdoms of the World and Jerusalem will accept with lamentation the Pierced One and his New Covenant, because they will understand these prophecies of Daniel to be fulfilled, being cleansed, made white and Purified through the New Covenant....

Thank you so much for this video and others like it! Very, very much appreciated. I am coming out of a nearly lifelong history with 7th Day Adventistism. I can't even tell you how many Daniel/Revelation seminars I have been to (they believe the books of Daniel and Revelation are connected/go together), how many sermons and lectures I have heard. And still can't keep it all straight. I am so excited to hear this information. I am going to keep watching these over and over so I can get it planted in my mind.

Given my comment above ^^^, people can be assured that I have had a lifetime of Christian theology. There is really no reason for anyone to keep reiterating those beliefs and citing certain "proof" texts as if I'm ignorant of them. I've heard it. I've read it. Over and over and over. Everyone has. There's a reason why I haven't been able, in 50 some years, to make sense of it, no matter how many times it got explained to me. I'm here on Rabbi Singer's channel to learn more. To learn WHY things didn't make sense. To get those pieces that were missing, the answers to the questions as to what pieces were missing. To get the answers as to which pieces are the right pieces and their correct places in the puzzle. I've already tried to fit the puzzle together the Christian way. No matter how hard I jammed the pieces in, at least for me, they just didn't fit right. I respect people's right to choose to learn from Christianity, that find that path the comfortable one for them. It's not for me any longer. Any potential for growth within Christianity, for me, got maxed out about 10 years ago or more. I appreciate the Christian's concern. I'm just explaining that there's no need to continue to waste time and energy trying to explain Christian theology to me. Been there done that. I get it, but I'm ready to move on. All due respect, thank you, but no thank you. Many blessings. Shalom.

@Joyce Henley The mouse• No need for such venom, no need for name calling. If you read the comment, it says coming OUT of SDA. I said in 50 years I couldn't make sense of it. They profess to be a Christian denomination. I don't care what they profess. Whether ppl think they are or aren't makes no difference to me. The SDA denomination along with other denominations who call themselves Christian do not make sense to me. So we can agree on the errors of SDA theology. Now, I do have family still joined at the hip to that religion and they are good ppl, though mistaken as I once was and still am in some ways. I'm human and still learning and growing. I never once claimed to have all the answers. That's why I'm here, to learn. So either give me some constructive input, leave the name-calling out of it or take it somewhere else. I'm no shrinking violet. I'm not going to sit here and boo hoo and preach to you how wrong it is to bully ppl, I'll just solve the problem.

Mister Singer got it completely wrong.
He does not address the prophecy in Daniel 9;25,26 which reveals the exact calculation of the coming of the Messiah.
The only one that came at that date was Jesus Christ.

@@Bibleapostle I've heard that view before, yes, but I'm considering that the Hebrew is much, much older. Interpreting that text as referring to Jesus came hundreds of years later. I'm ready to consider that Christians are as human and fallible as anyone else and it is entirely possible in their zeal to distance themselves from the unpopular Jews, they adopted foreign and false ideologies. If a lie is told often enough, it becomes believed as truth, but that doesn't make it true. I can have all kinds of warm, fuzzy, sentimental feelings for long held cherished beliefs, but that doesn't make them true. Mama and Daddy, and Pastor Whathisname are all very nice people, but they are human and can be wrong. I'm not afraid of hearing what Rabbi Singer has to say. I've heard the Christian side for 50 years. Fifty not five, FIFTY YEARS, not days, not weeks, not months. 50 years, ok, of hearing the same broken record again and again, getting no more knowledge or enlightenment, no more growth in all that time. I'm ready to change the record. And guess what, I've listen to quite a few of Rabbi Singer's videos, listened to many other Rabbis and I've learned more in 30 minutes of their videos than I learned in 50 years of Christianity. The pieces are finally fitting together better. And what's more, I don't feel a bit "burdened" by Torah. I'm loving it. I'm finally getting to know the descendants of the biblical patriarchs and they're beautiful human beings with hearts and souls and feelings, families. They have good days and bad days. They're not monsters. They're not evil. They're not deluded. They're dedicated heart and soul to the Creator. Just like me, but maybe more. I cannot and will not understand why in the world ppl can't just open their little minds and shut their big mouths long enough to just listen. Hear them out without trying to wait for a chance to push a preconceived notion, an agenda. Just listen. Free yourself from brainwashing and propaganda and just listen. But if you don't want to, fine. I AM going to listen and learn.

Fifty days after the Israelites were redeemed from Egypt, they met God as a nation at the foot of Mount Sinai.
The LORD descended on the mountain in fire, and it smoked like a furnace. A dense cloud wrapped the mountain and it trembled violently. Lightning flashed and thunder erupted. The sound of the Shofar of God grew louder and louder as Moses spoke to the LORD and He answered. (Exodus 19)
Think about it - the entire community heard God speak! It was a national revelation, an experience that is unique in the history of religion.
This is no mere legend passed down through the centuries. It was an awe-inspiring, terrifying time that all the Israelites experienced.
The Israelites had a national revelation of God at Mount Sinai that revealed His exceeding power and majesty.

      49 years + 434 years = *483 years total.*

*How do we know that a day is a year and that a week is thus 7 years?*
We can discover this by looking at Leviticus 25;8 for example.

      *Leviticus 25;8*
8 *And you shall count off seven Sabbaths of years-seven times seven years-so that the seven Sabbaths of years amount to forty-nine years.*

So when does the word go out to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem as prophesied in the book of Daniel?
When we look in the Tanakh, in the book of Nehemiah, we see the exact moment when the word to rebuilt Jerusalem and its walls goes forth and thus we know that from that moment we must calculate by adding 483 years from that time and at the end of the 483 years, the Messiah should appear.
      --
      *Nehemiah 2*
      *Nehemiah Sent to Judah*
1 In the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was before him, I took up the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had not been sad in his presence.
2 And the king said to me, “Why is your face sad, seeing you are not sick? This is nothing but sadness of the heart.” Then I was very much afraid.
3I said to the king, “Let the king live forever! Why should not my face be sad, *when the city, the place of my fathers’ graves, lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire?"*
4 Then the king said to me, “What are you requesting?” So I prayed to the God of heaven.
5 And I said to the king, *“If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ graves, that I may rebuild it."*
6 And the king said to me (the queen sitting beside him), “How long will you be gone, and when will you return?” So it pleased the king to send me when I had given him a time.
7 And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, let letters be given me to the governors of the province Beyond the River, that they may let me pass through until I come to Judah,
8 and a letter to Asaph, the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the fortress of the temple, *and for the wall of the city,* and for the house that I shall occupy.” And the king granted me what I asked, for the good hand of my God was upon me.
      --
      *Nehemiah Inspects Jerusalem’s Walls*
9 Then I came to the governors of the province beyond the River and gave them the king’s letters. Now the king had sent with me officers of the army and horsemen.
10 But when Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite servant heard this, it displeased them greatly that someone had come to seek the welfare of the people of Israel.
11 So I went to Jerusalem and was there three days.
12 Then I arose in the night, I and a few men with me. *And I told no one what my God had put into my heart to do for Jerusalem.* There was no animal with me but the one on which I rode.
13 *I went out by night by the Valley Gate to the Dragon Spring and to the Dung Gate, and I inspected the walls of Jerusalem that were broken down and its gates that had been destroyed by fire.*
14 Then I went on to the Fountain Gate and to the King’s Pool, but there was no room for the animal that was under me to pass.
15 Then I went up in the night by the valley and inspected the wall, and I turned back and entered by the Valley Gate, and so returned.
16 And the officials did not know where I had gone or what I was doing, and I had not yet told the Jews, the priests, the nobles, the officials, and the rest who were to do the work.
17 Then I said to them, *“You see the trouble we are in, how Jerusalem lies in ruins with its gates burned. Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer suffer derision."*
18 And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work.
19 But when Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite servant and Geshem the Arab heard of it, they jeered at us and despised us and said, “What is this thing that you are doing? Are you rebelling against the king?”
20 Then I replied to them, “The God of heaven will make us prosper, and we his servants will arise and build, but you have no portion or right or claim in Jerusalem.”
      --
So we see that from the moment that Nehemiah was sent by king Artaxerxes with papers with permission to rebuilt Jerusalem and its wall, we have to start counting 483 years.
      --
We know from history that his reign started in 474 BC and we can read that Nehemiah had this conversation with king Artaxerxes in the 20th year of his reign and thus this was around 455 BC.
      --
      Thus, *455 BC + 483 years = 27/28AD (depends on the starting month's)*
*So, the Messiah could only come around this date of 27/28 AD...not before and not after and the only one who came around this year was Jesus of Nazareth.*
      --
On this day Jesus was baptized and he began his ministry and God said about Jesus:
      *Matthew 3;17*
17 and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, *"This is my beloved Son,* in whom I am well-pleased."
      --
      *Matthew 17;5*
5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, *"This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!"*
      --
As was also prophesied by Moses:
      --
      *Deuteronomy 18;15,18,19*
15 Yehowah (יְהֹוָה) your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. *You must listen to him.*
18 *I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put My words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him*
19 *And I will hold accountable anyone who does not listen to My words that the prophet speaks in My name.*
      --
      Jesus said:
      --
      *John 12;49*
49 *For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment-what to say and what to speak.*
      --
      *John 15;15*
15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, *because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you.*
      --
Jesus never claimed to be God as mainstream Christianity teaches.
Mainstream Christianity is paganism disguising itself as Christian.
Mainstream Christianity uses false manipulated translations to make it seem Jesus is God and to uphold their false pagan trinity doctrine.
      --
We know from Scripture he only preached 3.5 years and was crucified.
This fulfills the last week in the prophecy of Daniel.
      --
      *Daniel 9;27*
27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; *and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."*
      --
40 years later, in 70 AD, Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed by the Romans, again, as was prophesied by the prophet Daniel.
      ==
      >>>> *To reject Jesus as the Messiah, is to reject the prophecy by the prophet Daniel, and to reject the prophecy of the prophet Daniel is to reject God and his Anointed One, the king of Israel, Jesus Christ and by rejecting Jesus as the Messiah, Jews in turn, are rejected by God.*

    1. 13:30:
“you start counting from the destruction of the temple and not from the beginning of the babylonian empire”
Wait what?? the angel Gabriel never says this?? Even if you do want to begin counting the 490 years at that that time then: 586 - 490 = 96. That’s 96 BC?? Where is the second messiah at 96 BC? is sin gone? is righteousness restored? None of the prophecy’s are fulfilled.
    2. If you begin counting the 70 years at 586 BC (destruction of the first temple), then 586 - 70 = 516 BC. How does this make sense? Cyrus the Great, the so called “Messiah”, began his rule in 559 BC and later allowed Jews to return to their land in 538 BC. How do any of these dates fit the 70 year prophecy period?? In order to make it fit you would have to bring it to 516 BC, which was around the date scholars believe the second temple was rebuilt. But Daniel doesn’t link the 70 years culminating with the building of the second temple, he culminates simply with the arrival of Cyrus! Even if you decide to say it culminating with the building of the second temple in 516 BC, this is still problematic because the remaining 434 years still don’t fit to match up with 66 AD nor 70 AD.
    3. Why doesn’t the Rabbi just give exact dates in his videos?? This is very strange. If suppoesedly this entire explanation fits perfectly then surely there should exact years when everything mentioned is taking place, why not list them?
    4. In a seperate video, the Rabbi claims 490 Years culminated with the destruction of the temple in 70 AD, and that the so called “half week” and “cutting off” of the messiah was simply the seizing of sacrifices at the temple in 66 AD (4 years prior to its actual destruction)
then that MUST mean he is amdittong the entire 70 week prophecy has already been completed, but wait, If it has been completed, That means there’s is an end to sin, atonement for iniquity, transgression is finished, and that we are living in everlasting righteousness. How does that even make sense? Clearly we have none of those things today, Why isn’t he explaining that?!?!
    None of this makes sense…

    • @Deathl2ow
      @Deathl2ow 2 месяца назад

Because they are of their father the devil, they denied their Messiah when he showed up in 32AD as prophesized by Daniel when Artaxerxes had his decree in 457BC. You need to go by the Jewish year model of 360 days in a year not the American standard and Yeshua as Messiah lines up perfectly

  • @robertzyfleur7098
    @robertzyfleur7098 Год назад +6

It is very simple. In Daniel 9:25 the Bible tell us about the coming of Messiah the Prince. In verse 26 3 things are described that happen consecutively.
    1. Messiah is cut off - killed
    2. The Temple is destroyed
    3. Until the end of time desolation is determined.
So, if No. 2 was fulfilled on AD 70 when Titus destroyed the temple in Jerusalem, then obviously Jesus was the Messiah.

    • @xplicitgoofy1015
      @xplicitgoofy1015 19 дней назад

It never said the messiah would be killed, it says the anointed one will be killed and Jesus died before 38 CE, Agrippa was last king of Judea and died 44 CE so he would make the most sense because he died after the 62 week period in 38 CE not before like Jesus did in 30 or 33 CE

    • @djarecke
      @djarecke 18 дней назад

@@xplicitgoofy1015 So Agrippa finished the transgression, put an end to iniquity, atoned for iniquity, and brought in everlasting righteousness (Daniel 9:24)? Clearly not. This is something only Yeshua claimed to do. Remember - the timing is a secondary issue and is debatable. Agrippa never claimed to be (nor could he be) messiah.

    • @xplicitgoofy1015

@@djarecke Nobody said Daniel 9 was ever about the messiah, it was referring to two very important figures in Jewish history that were called anointed for their high importance
Jesus didn’t finish transgression, or put an end to iniquity, or atoned for iniquity, nor did he bring ever lasting righteousness
Daniel 9 was a prophecy the angel gabriel gave to Daniel pertaining to events leading up to the beginning of the reconstruction of Jerusalem until its ultimate destruction in 70 CE, this prophecy has already come to pass and the 70 weeks are done
Now you see in the verse of Daniel 9:24 it uses the word “UNTIL the measure of transgression is filled…” it never says it will happen as soon as the 70 weeks are over, this period of using the word until is referring to the future redemption of the Jewish people which will happen when the messiah comes
Agrippa is the figure who makes most sense because he is the last king of Judea of the second temple period and he died before the holy temple and Jerusalem was destroyed by Rome and he passed away in a period after the 62 week period while Jesus died before it so by using time frames Jesus can’t be the the important anointed figure the angel Gabriel is referring to
Also even the New Testament confirms this if I’m not mistaken, it says Agrippa’s death was sudden and out of nowhere, it is as it says in the prophecy how he would be cut off

The title is misleading; and the video doesn't answer the original question.
Singer doesn't explain how the "Church corrupted" prophesy. All the Christian pastors, that I've heard, come to the same conclusion of the 490 years. They rightly discern, along with first century Judah, that Messiah would Live at that Time.
Singer, 2,000 years later; says only after the 490 years "a Messianic Period could even begin."

31 rejoicing in His inhabited world and delighting in the children of man.
      --
      *Now pay attention!*
      --
Let’s look at verse 30 again and connect the dots by comparing Scripture with Scripture.
      *Proverbs 8;30*
30 *existing beside (near, in the proximity of) Him (Jehovah) as an architect (master workman),* being His object of delight daily and rejoicing before Him all the time.
      --
We see in verse 30 that Jesus is called *“an architect” and that Jesus existed beside (near, in the proximity of) Jehovah God.*
      --
      *What did Jesus say?*

      ---
So we can now see that John 1:1 can also be translated as:
      --
      *John 1;1*
      1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word *was near (to) God,* and the Word *was a god (or: {a} divine {being}, {a} deity}.*

      --
      etc, etc, etc.
      --
      Jesus is "a god".
      Are you seeing the picture?
It all depends on how a translator wants to translate the texts.
      --
*Immanuel* doesn't just mean *"God {is} with us"* but can also be translated as *"{a} god {is} with us"*
Both translations are correct and apliable.
Because through Jesus God is with us.....but Jesus himself is also "a god" and therefore the second part is also correct.

      *Revelation 22;16*
16 *“I, Jesus,* have sent my angel (messenger, envoy, ambassador) to bear witness (testimony, to give a record) to you about these things upon (to) the ekklēsiais (those who are called), *I am the root (sprout, shoot, offspring) of David (the beloved), the bright (shining, radiant, clear, white) morning star.”*

      *Isaiah 14;12-14*
12 How you have fallen (been cast down) from the heavens, *O morning star (star of the morning, shining one, Lucifer: light-bearer), son of the dawn (dayspring, light)!* Being cut (hewn) down to the ground, to be weakened (overwhelmed, prostrated, discomfited) together with the nations (gō•w•yim: peoples, Gentiles, Heathens).
13 You said in your heart: “I will ascend to the heavens; *above the stars of God (’êl).* I will raise (exalt, lift up) my throne and dwell (sit, remain, abide) on the mountain of meeting (appointed place, time or sign. assembly, congregation), in the farthest sides (recesses) of the north.
14 I will ascend above the high places (the heights, the tops) clouds; *I will resemble myself (be like, make myself) like the Most High.”*

Notice that Satan isn't just called a *"morning star",* but that he's also called *"son of the dawn (dayspring)".*

      Yes, he is.

What I mean is in Daniel, it does not say: "The Messiah"....it just says an anointed one. So there is no reference to a Davidic messiah, who the Tanach never shows as getting cut-off. Getting cut-off only happens to bad people. If you have ever done a word study on being cut-off, they are NEVER righteous people. They are 100% evil people. So if you say Jesus was cut-off, you are saying by definition, that he was a bad person. A righteous person can be murdered but not cut-off.

That assertion puts the start date at 458-457BC but is at least 50% likely to be wrong. True, Ezra 7:13 uses the Hebrew for 'decree' (as did the angel at Dan.9:25) , but it says nothing about rebuilding & restoring Jerusalem (i.e. political & military sovereignty); all it allows is religious freedom. Maybe the correct start date is 445BC (probably Nisan full moon 13-03-445BC), as per Neh. 2:8, which expressly authorizes building of Jerusalem gates & wall (but uses the Hebrew word for 'letter' not 'decree')

When we look in the Tanakh, in the book of Nehemiah, we see the exact moment when the word to rebuilt Jerusalem and its walls goes forth and thus we know that from that moment we must calculate by adding 483 years from that time and at the end of the 483 years, the Messiah should appear.

      ==

As we have seen from the passages I've posted here above, we see that God created Jesus as the first of his creations/creatures.
As we read in Revelation 3;14, Jesus is the first, he is the one God started with.
In Colossians 1;15 we see that the Greek word that's used is *prōtotokos* and means: *"first begotten"* - *"firstborn"* or *"the oldest".*

      --
Now we can translate Proverbs 8;22-31 correctly.
      --
      *Proverbs 8;22-31*
22 *Jehovah created me (Jesus) as the beginning (first) of His ways (actions), from the earliest (ancient) times, at that time I was made. (read Revelation 3;14, Colossians 1;15)*
23 *Ages ago (in antiquity), I (Jesus) was cast (anointed, installed) as the first, before the earth.*
24 When there were no depths, *I (Jesus) was brought forth (born),* when there were no springs abounding with water.
25 Before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills, *I (Jesus) was brought forth,*
26 before He had made the earth with its fields, or the first of the dust of the world.
27 When He established the heavens, *I (Jesus) was there;* when he drew a circle on the face of the deep,
28 when He made firm the skies above, when He established the fountains of the deep,
      29 when He assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters might not transgress His command, when He marked out the foundations of the earth;
30 *existing beside (near, in the proximity of) Him as an architect (master workman),* being His object of delight daily, and rejoicing before Him all the time,
31 rejoicing in His inhabited world and delighting in the children of man.
      --
      *Now pay attention!*
      --
Let’s look at verse 30 again and connect the dots by comparing Scripture with Scripture.
      >>> *Point 1:* > *Point 2:* >>> *but it can also be translated as:* >> *G4314: at, near (to), by, to, towards, with, with regards to, directed at, by the side of, in the proximity of, etc.*
      ---
So we can now see that John 1:1 can also be translated as:
      --
      *John 1;1*
      1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word *was near (to) God,* and the Word *was a god (or: {a} divine {being}, {a} deity}.*
      ==
      1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word *was beside God,* and the Word was a god.
      ==
      1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word *was directed at God,* and the Word was a god.
      ==
      1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word *was with God,* and the Word was a god.
      ==
      1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word *was by the side of God,* and the Word was a god.
      ==
      1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word *was in the proximity of God,* and the Word was a god.
      --
      etc, etc, etc.
      --
      Jesus is "a god".
      --
If one understands the way the sacred texts are written and knows a little about Biblical grammar, one can discover more of such precious treasures.
Let me give you another example.
      --

So when does the word go out to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem as prophesied in the book of Daniel?
When we look in the Tanakh, in the book of Nehemiah, we see the exact moment when the word to rebuilt Jerusalem and its walls goes forth and thus we know that from that moment we must calculate by adding 483 years from that time and at the end of the 483 years, the Messiah should appear.

9 Then I came to the governors of the province beyond the River and gave them the king’s letters. Now the king had sent with me officers of the army and horsemen.

11 So I went to Jerusalem and was there three days.

      @rollingknuckleball 3 года назад +1

@@uco.7303 Ps. the basis behind the entirety of all Christian sects is the concept of vicarious atonement, which requires the crucifiction of Jesus, so the argument isn't "can you prove he didn't get crucified, the argument is can you prove he did". But I digress, Jesus was taken away by Roman soldiers in front of the apostles, but all apostles fled, and the only way the soldiers identified Jesus was because Judas kissed Jesus to identify him. He then went to Pontius Pilot, the governor, at which point a bunch of unimportant things such as the release of the wrong Jesus from jail happened. Here's the crucial part, the crucifiction happened the next day (from his arrest), so you have no proof that the soldiers who arrested him are the same ones who crucified him (people work in shifts and various roles (i.e. crucifiction) are for various soldiers) but lets give you the benefit of the doubt. During crucifiction, the only eye-witnesses were the Roman soldiers, whose accounts are not told in the Bible, for obvious reasons, the crucifiction took 3 hours, which should not be long enough to kill a person (crucificition takes 4-6 days generally), and the burial of Jesus in the tomb was done only by one disciple of Jesus. After this burial, no one saw Jesus until when mary magdalene saw him dressed as a gardener (ALIVE), and when the disciples brought him fish and food and Jesus (supposedly) said "I am no ghost, etc etc i.e. he's is a living being". So to summarize, no one saw Jesus being crucified (at least from all the accounts in the bible and all disciples), the crucifiction took a time period that couldnt even have killed him, and the only time they saw him after the "supposed" crucifiction, was when he was alive. You ask for proof, however, objective proof can only be given by a time machine, the best guess we have is logical proof, and the ONLY logical conlclusion, from the stories in the synoptic gospels, is that Jesus was placed on a cross, but was taken down shortly, he didnt die, and was alive, however everyone though he was dead, as rumors of his crucifiction spread, and this caused shock when they saw him alive. If I hear a person has been killed, and I see him alive three days later, my first conclusion wouldnt be he has risen from the dead, it would be that the account of his death was false. Also, before you say, "oh but the rising from the grave was miraculous", miracles require eye-witness accounts, people SAW jesus bring back the dead, people SAW moses split the sea, a miracle that you say has happened but no one saw is not a miracle, its imagination.

Except it was not 490 years from the exile to the destruction of the Second Temple: 490 years from Jeremiah's word is definitely not 70CE. This is the main problem with the Jewish interpretation. This reckoning of years comes from the seder olam, which has to cut down recorded history by over a century to make this interpretation fit. Rashi believed that the "word" in question was the word of Gabriel to Daniel--so Jews were not unanimous on this point, despite Rabbi Singer's conviction. And by no means was "Masiach Nagid" unanimously understood to refer to Cyrus. An early version of the Septuagint (composed several centuries before the Christian era) uses the term "the Lord" to refer to this individual, and the Dead Sea Scrolls make reference to him in Messianic terms (in the Melchizedek scroll).

The Rabbi is wrong. Jesus does fulfil this prophecy. The problem is, to fully understand it you need knowledge about the Law of Moses as well as faith in Jesus. So a Rabbi who rejects Jesus will not get this prophecy entirely right, any more than a Christian who rejects the law will.

If a man does not believe anything as true until it is proven to the satisfaction of his physical senses, then it probably means if he lives in say 500 ad he must wait until the invention of a microscope to believe that bacteria exist. Someone else who has had a dream about such things or is prepared to accept their existence and change his lifestyle based just on the possibility they exist will wash his hands etc. because of his faith, i.e. what has not been proven yet he believes. So while one changes his lifestyle without physical proof, just believing, the other may say, sorry I will wait on a microscope to be invented before I change my way of life. 1. The entire prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 covers a period of “seventy weeks.” This period applies to one complete, sequential block of time. This prophecy would start during the Persian period and would end during the time of the Messiah.
    2. Logic requires that the 70th week follow immediately after the 69th week. If it does not, then it cannot properly be called the 70th week!
    3. It is illogical to insert a 2,000-year gap between the 69th and the 70th week. No hint of this gap is found in the prophecy itself. There is no gap between the first 7 weeks and the following 62 weeks. Why insert one between the 69th and the 70th week?
    4. Daniel 9:27 says nothing about a seven-year period of tribulation, or about any Antichrist
    5. The focus of this prophecy is the Messiah, not the Antichrist. Modern interpreters have applied “the people of the prince” who would come to “destroy the city and the sanctuary” (verse 26) to the Antichrist. Yet the text does not say this. In the past, that sentence has been applied to the Romans, who under Prince Titus did “destroy the city and the sanctuary” in'‘A.D. 70
    6. “He shall confirm the covenant.” Jesus Christ came “to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.” Romans 15:8. Nowhere in the Bible is Antichrist ever said to make or confirm a covenant with anyone! The word “covenant” always applies to the Messiah, never to the Antichrist!
    7. “He shall confirm the covenant with many.” Jesus said, “This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.” Matthew 26:28. Jesus used the same words, because He knew that He was fulfilling Daniel 9:27!
    8. “In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” The 70th week was from A.D. 27 to 34. After three and a half years of ministry, Christ died in A.D. 31, “in the midst [middle] of the week.” At the moment of His death, “the veil of the temple was rent [torn] in twain from the top to the bottom.” Matthew 27. The Great Sacrifice had been offered!
    9. “For the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate.” Jesus plainly applied this “abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet” (Matthew 24:15) to the time when His followers were to flee from Jerusalem before the destruction of the second temple in A.D. 70. Jesus told His 12 disciples, “When ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies [the Roman armies led by Prince Titus], then know that its desolation is near.” Luke 21:20, emphasis added. Those disciples did “see” those very events. Christ’s very last words to the Pharisees from inside the second temple were, “Behold, (Your house is left unto you desolate.” Matthew 23:38. Thus Daniel’s prophecy about Jerusalem becoming “desolate” was exactly fulfilled in A.D. 70! Jesus understood this perfectly.
    10. Gabriel said that the 70'week prophecy specifically applied to the Jewish people (see Daniel 9:24). During the period of Christ’s public ministry of 3 1/2 years, the Master’s focus was largely upon “the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 10:6). After His resurrection and then for another 3 1/2 years, His disciples preached mostly to Jews (see Acts 1-6). After that second 3 1/2-year period, in 34 A.D., the bold Stephen was stoned by the Jewish Sanhedrin (see Acts 7). This infamous deed marked the then-ruling Jewish leaders’ final, official rejection of the gospel of our Savior. Then the gospel went to the Gentiles. In Acts 9, Saul became Paul, the “apostle to the Gentiles” (Romans 11:13). In Acts 10, God gave Peter a vision revealing it was now time to preach to the Gentiles(see Acts l0:1-28). Read also Acts (l3:46) Thus approximately 3 1/2 years after the crucifixion-and at the end of the 70-week prophecy given for the Jewish people-the gospel shifted to the Gentiles exactly as predicted in Bible prophecy.

Easy to critique, but Daniel realized that there is a timeline, 70yrs captivity, plus the time to rebuild the temple, then everything else that was to follow.
What was to follow? What was the significance of Daniel 9:24-27?
Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
-The timeline was established. There is no other interpretation of the timeline than the events contained within the verses. So what happened? Do the Jews also have a Gap Theory for the 70th week? The time has come and passed, and the verses just like the rebuilding of the temple had to continue on God’s prophecy to Daniel within that time.
Cyrus is a messiah, but the Jew are waiting for “The Messiah”, from the line of David. Even today.
Somehow, they have some dispensational eschatology too, since they say the 70th week hasn’t passed. There are many accounts of the Pharisees asking Jesus if he was the messiah. Why? They knew Daniel’s timeline prophecy.

So he understandably concluded that God had decided to multiply Israel’s captivity seven times over.

The question posed from the beginning was incorrect. They went to Babylon for 70 years because they didn't keep the Sabbath for 490 years. Daniel wasn't concerned that there would be a 490 year captivity or such. Furthermore, everything is spoken in the future tense. Gabriel is telling the angel about things to come. And just because the New Testament doesn't talk about this passage doesn't mean it's not referring to Jesus Christ. Jesus, after his resurrection from the dead, expounding the entire Tanach about him. Not everything was written. Jesus, The Messiah, The Son of Man, The Son of God, died and rose from the grave and his Jewish disciples testified about this and even became martyrs for their testimony.

Some interesting features of the Hebrew text of Daniel 9:23-27
The passage is exactly 100 words.
There are 49 words before "shiba' shabuwa'" (7 sevens) and 49 words after. (49+2+49)
The Hebrew letters of Daniel 9 are also exactly centered around the ten letters of shiba' shabuwa'. (204+10+204)
The entire chapter of Daniel 9 is centered around the 18 words of verse 15. There are 222 words in verses 1-14 and 222 words in verses 16-27. (222+18+222)
Clearly the text of Daniel 9 was numerically ordered. The question is whether it was of human or Divine origins.

Wow! Pretty cool. Thank you for sharing. Aside from the first one though, the other 2 don't seem to mean anything and seem to be random numbers. I'm sure you could find many chapters with a verse in the middle like this.

You may be correct about the numbers being random but it is rather difficult to believe their arrangement or placement is random. This is especially the case with the growing body of research which is showing that the Hebrew authors had a sophisticated compositional method for many of the passages of the Hebrew Bible.
Secular scholars are just now realizing the significance of the numbering notations found in the Leningrad codex which recorded the word count and numerical centers of many of the passage of the Hebrew Bible.
Getting back to Daniel 9 and its division into 222+18+222. For what it is worth ברך = 'bless', בכר = 'firstborn', and כרב = 'multitude' are all basic Hebrew words known for their numerical value of 222. It would not be beyond the realm of possibility that Daniel 9 was designed to make such connections to these words in the Hebrew readers mind.
You'll also find that the text was grouped into 7 verse groups which highlighted, in their compositional structure, the name of YHWH in a numerical manner. The Hebrew numerical letter value of YHWH is 26 (2x13). It is fascinating to realize that the proper name of YHWH in all of the book of Daniel is only found 8 times in chapter 9 and only in one of the 7 verse groupings. To visualize the chapters verse arrangement it looks like this: 7+7+1+7+5 (7+7 = 222 words) (1 = 18 words) (7+6 = 222 words)
The first occurrence of YHWH is found in verse 2 and is the 13th word. The last occurrence is in verse 20 and again the 13th word. The forth occurrence is the 130th word. I could go on but you can get an idea of authors intent.
To be clear this highlighting of the proper name of YHWH is not something unique to Daniel 9 (only its done is a more sophisticated manner here) but this numerical ordering of the text to emphasis the name of YHWH is found throughout the Hebrew Bible and is finally being acknowledged by scholars.
We can debate about the meaning or intent of the authors but it is now becoming exceedingly difficult to deny the incredibly sophisticated manner in which the Hebrew authors constructed many of the Bible's passages.
I'll give you just one more example. The Akedah (binding of Isaac) in (Gen. 22:1-19) is the famous Biblical story of Abraham and YHWH's testing of his faith by asking him to sacrifice Isaac.
The entire passage is 307 Hebrew words. The "binding" takes place in verse 9. Verse 9 also happens to be the numerical center of the passage. The word Isaac in this verse being the exact numerical center of the entire passage. There are 153 words before Isaac, and 153 words after. (153+1+153) Again, the passage is shown to be numerically crafted to emphasis the theme of the story.
Clearly the text displays a most sophisticated literary construction.
      Warm regards,
      William

@@WStruse I appreciate your reply. I in no way meant to imply that the way the bible is written is random. There is nothing random about it. I was just saying that the fact that a certain verse is equidistant until the end and the beginning of a chapter can mean something. However, it could just mean nothing. I am inclined to think that almost all of it, even though we almost never know the meaning, means something.
One thing I want to point out though is that from the fact that you repeatedly keep saying how the authors had great literary construction, it seems like you believe this was written by mortal humans who are limited and fallible. I will have to definitely disagree with this. What you understand about the beauty of all of this is just the very beginning of it all. How can you really say that a human wrote this? How is that possible? How many books besides the ot are written like this? How many literary geniuses do you know? The bible was written by about 40 different authors and every one of the books in the bible in the ot was written in this fashion. You really think all of these authors were so smart and had such literary abilities? That seems ludicrous to me. This was obviously written or at least dictated by a higher authority. I hope you did not mean to imply that you do not follow this belief.
I see this all the time btw. People will have mind-blowing experiences and still not believe. I read a book written by someone who literally had a miracle happen to him. In short, he was an Israeli soldier during the 6 day way and he wrote how the Egyptian army had surrounded him and his tanks and all of a sudden they surrendered. He then noticed the air force overhead and he understood. When he got back to base and he told the story, he was informed that the air force was never there the whole day. It could not have happened. In other words, it was a mirage and an obvious miracle. The point I'm trying to say is that what was this secular soldier's response to this? You would think he'd be a good religious person after that. He said "I guess I was just lucky". I almost threw the book across the room when I read that. How can anyone be so skeptical and unable to accept? Thanks again for the material though. I really love this stuff.

      Hi m1,
Appreciate your thoughtful response. My personal belief is that all Scripture is given by inspiration of YHWH. I believe that all of what we call the Bible is beautifully congruent story of YHWH's redemptive love for mankind through Yeshua, the Bible promised messiah.
No, I don't believe Daniel 9:1-22 was an accident or an invention of mankind, but rather the evidence indicates to me that the book is a genuinely congruent work written by Daniel as he was inspired by YHWH. I also believe that Daniel 9:23-27 is a genuinely divine prophecy (given by YHWH in answer to Daniel's prayer for his people and holy city) which proves that Yeshua was the Bible promised Messiah. Where I differ from many of my peers is that I believe the prophecy, because it was given to the Jewish people, should be understood within the context in which it was given.
What I shared about Daniel 9 in my previous post is just a glimpse of how incredibly congruent this prophecy is and how incredible it is to believe that it was an invention of man.
Like you, I "love this stuff" :) It has been the passion of my life.

Oh my. Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
The reason Paul never referenced the book of Daniel is because Paul's audience was Gentiles (the church age) So an Old Testament prophecy to Israel does not pertain to non-Jews. Romans 11:13 Paul calls himself the Apostle of the Gentiles. Paul was an Israelite, but his mission was to the Gentiles. The dispensation of Grace given to Paul from Jesus to share with Gentiles (Acts 22:21, Acts 28:28, Ephesians 1:2, Ephesians 3:1-3, Galatians 1:15-16, Galatians 2:9, Romans 1:15-16, Romans 9:30) So Paul wouldn't need to reference anything in the book of Daniel to Gentiles. Daniel prophecies are for Jews/Israel. 70-weeks are not determined for the church age.
The Daniel 9:24 prophecy of 70 weeks is determined for Daniel's people, isn't about Gentiles. "Thy people." Who were Daniel's people? Jews. Gentiles weren't Daniel's people. The book of Acts is a transitional book. Because we see God shift his focus off Israel in the book of Acts after rejecting Jesus as the Messiah and topping it all off by stoning Stephen. So God left Israel scattered (which fulfilled Zechariah 13:7) for their disbelief in Jesus as the Messiah. So God commissions Paul in Acts 9 to share the gospel of grace through the death, burial and resurrection to Gentiles because the Jews refused to believe.
Jesus told the disciples specifically in Matthew 10:5-6 "Go *not* to the Gentiles, but rather, *go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.* " God knew he'd reach the Gentiles later through Paul. Jesus' three year ministry was in Synagogues. Do Gentiles go to synagogues? No. Did Jesus and the disciples teach his death, burial and resurrection during Jesus' three year ministry? No, because it hadn't happened yet. They were preaching the Kingdom gospel for the Jews, but the majority would not accept it.
There are several Old Testament prophecies that the Messiah would be killed. Isaiah 53:3 & 7, Psalm 22:1-2 and 16-18, Zechariah 12:10
How will we know when the clock will resume for Israel and start the 70th week? Romans 11:25 tells us "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this secret, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; *that blindness in part is happened to Israel,* until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written."
Then Daniel 9:27 will start with the Anti Christ making a 7-year peace covenant with Israel, that he breaks 3.5 years in (in the midst of that week)
Also, King Cyrus did not fulfill Zechariah 9:9 or Psalm 22:16. God Bless.

Nebuchadnezzar was to be a great tree chopped down for "7 times." but not killed, then reestablished at the end of that 7 times.
It's interesting that precisely 7 "years of days" (2556 years) after 607 BCE, from when Israel was first removed from the land, you get 1948, when the nation of Israel was reestablished.
It would otherwise be strange for God to give a Babylonian a prophecy that really only applied to him.

      Thus, *455 BC + 483 years = 27/28AD (depends on the starting month's)*
*So, the Messiah could only come around this date of 27/28 AD...not before and not after and the only one who came around this year was Jesus of Nazareth.*

The reign of Daruis the Mede began 371BCE (as you said, not Daruis the Persian), meaning as the verse says 62x7 + 7 = 441 years later, which is 70CE, meaning the Messiah can't come before 70CE (which is, as prophesied the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash) and ~30CE is BEFORE 70CE!!! Furthermore, there isn't a Christian explanation for the 'mute abomination' that is at the 490 years later. If 441 years is 30CE, then what is the mute abomination on the Temple mount in 89CE? There wasn't one! If we date it correctly to 70CE, then it is clearly the Temple of Jupiter in 119CE!

Daniel also says that the Messiah would come during the time of the second temple. That temple was destroyed in 70ad. So either your numbers are wrong, God is wrong, and He came like He said He would and now He rules and reigns like He said he would.
      Jesus is Lord.

49 *For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment-what to say and what to speak.*

im sure Jesus understood this prophecy when he quotes Daniel in Mathew 24 olivet discourse.
Jesus quotes Daniel and also refers to it as a desolation and destruction coming to Jerusalem. He never says this prophecy has anything to do with his death. But to the end of that age.

Daniel 9:25 clearly states "from the time of the order to rebuild Jerusalem." Your convoluted explanation doesn't touch this or maybe intentionally avoids it. Your usual clear teaching always becomes as clear as mud whenever you stumble over Christ Jesus. This prophecy of the time of the coming of Messiah is emphasized with the promise of putting an end to sin, atoning for wickedness, and bringing in everlasting righteousness.
Not only does the time of Jesus death correspond to this prophecy but on one occasion Peter asks how many times should I forgive my brother when he sins again me, up to seven times? Jesus answered, "Seventy times seven." In other words, forgive until there is an end to sin and everlasting righteousness comes in.
Praying for Rabbi Tovia and his salvation through faith in Jesus. May he shine like Paul one day in evangelistic zeal for Jesus.

      --

Mainstream Christianity uses false manipulated translations to make it seem Jesus is God and to uphold their false pagan trinity doctrine.

Multiple problems with your interpretation here my friend, Ezra's pronouncement was only to rebuild the temple, but Daniel 9 says:
"So you are to know and understand that from the issuing of a [y]decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, until [z]Messiah the Prince, there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with [aa]streets and moat, even in times of distress." NASB
There are three potential decree's we could choose from. The first is from Cyrus does decree to rebuild the temple; however if you look at the details you find the following. Cyrus's decree was only to rebuild the Temple, not all of Jerusalem. The city was not rebuild in response to this decree. This fails on both points that would require rebuilding of the city, and a decree to do so.
The next decree is mentioned by Artaxerxes in 457BC that said to rebuild the temple too. Some work was completed on the temple and the city was partially rebuilt about 60 years later. This decree fails to meet the requirement to restore all of Jerusalem, just the temple. (Even with the calculations off this decree, it points to Jesus as Messiah)
The last decree that it could be is found in Nehemiah 2 (Artaxerxes Longimanus in 444BC) which specifically mentions Jerusalem is still in ruins. Nehemiah writes this in Chapter 2:
"7 And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, let letters be given me for the governors of the provinces beyond the River, so that they will allow me to pass through until I come to Judah, 8 and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, so that he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel which is by the [c]temple, for the wall of the city, and for the house to which I will go.” And the king granted them to me because the good hand of my God was on me."
The next verses details the decrees and letters that were specifically mentioned in Daniel 9. Nehemiah continues to describing the full restoration of Jerusalem. This can also be verified by Josephus who tells us that it was a 49 year period to restore and rebuild Jerusalem which fits the verse perfectly. The details are very specific in Daniel and Nehemiah, the other decrees fail to support this prophecy.

You are ignorant and a deceiver. Josephus is quite clear that the 70-year exile began in year 23 of Nebuchadnezzar, the same year as the last deportation. 70 years after the fall of Jerusalem occurred in year 2 of Darius the Mede. So the Jews still had 4 more years to be in exile. So Darius the Mede, who was the grandson of Nebuchadnezzar ruled for six full years before he abdicated to Cyrus. In the meantime, Nabonidus was still the official king of Babylon.
The 70-year exile is a definitive time from year 23 of Nebuchadnezzar to the 1st of Cyrus. The 1st of Cyrus initially occurred in 455 BCE but the Persians revised the timeline, expanding the Persian period 82 years and reducing the neo-babylonian period by 26 years. Daniel was not confused, you are.
    Stop teaching lies.

@Jeffrey Stern there is no 30000 varieties of Jesus. There's only one Jesus I already answered before. You either believed a lie or you are making a lie about 30000 different Jesus. There's division among the bible interpretations due to the limit of the human being, it doesn't mean there's different Jesus in different churches. If one is claiming there's a different Jesus other than the son of GOD who became the flesh and died on the cross for our sins, he who must be false messiah. I advice you to humble your heart and pray to Jesus. The Judaism is also full of traditions of man and lead people go astray. The talmud contains lots of evil doctrines.
LORD Jesus rebuked lots of rabbis and teachers of the law for their evil sins. They made lies and made people hate Jesus. One day, only small portions of Jews will be saved and all of them will bow down to Jesus and confess their iniquities and say: Blessed are you who comes in the name of ADONAI. I hope you are one of them and be saved in the name of Yeshua/ Jesus.

      ==

The Jews in the time of Jesus knew it also because they knew how to calculate his coming...but apparently the Jews ever since have lost that ability even though it's very simple to do.

24 and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the Law of Yehowah, “a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.”

26 *And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen Yehowah's Christ (Messiah).*
27 And he came in the Spirit into the temple, *and when the parents brought in the child Jesus,* to do for him according to the custom of the Law,

37 and then was a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the temple, but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.

      *Matthew 21;33-43*
The Parable of the Wicked Tenants
      (Mark 12:1-12; Luke 20:9-18)
33 Listen to another parable: There was *a landowner (Yehowah)* who planted *a vineyard (Jerusalem).* He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it, *and built a tower (the temple).* Then he rented it out *to some tenants (the priesthood of levi and Aaron)* and went away on a journey.
      --
34 When the harvest time drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his share of the fruit.
35 But the tenants seized his servants. They beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.
      *(Matthew 23;29-36)*
36 Again, he sent other servants, more than the first group. But the tenants did the same to them.
      --
37 Finally, *he (Yehowah)* sent *his son (Yehoshuah = Jesus) to them (the priesthood).* ‘They will respect my son,’ he said.
38 But when the tenants saw the son, they said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and take his inheritance.’
39 *So they (the priesthood) seized him and threw him out of the vineyard (Jerusalem) and killed him. (by handing him over to the Romans and demanding he'd be crucified))*
      --
40 Therefore, when *the owner (Yehowah)* of *the vineyard (Jerusalem)* returns, what will he do *to those tenants (priesthood)?"*
41 *“He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,”* they replied, *“and will rent out the vineyard (Jerusalem) to other tenants (another priesthood = Christians = 1 Peter 2;7-10) who will give him (Yehowah) his share of the fruit at harvest time."*
      --
42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: *‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is from Yehowah, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? (Psalm 118;22,23)*
43 Therefore I tell you that *the kingdom of God will be taken away from you (sons of Israel) and given to a people (Christians, a.k.a. now part of Israel.) who will produce its fruit.*
44 *He who falls on this stone (Yehoshuah) will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed."*
      --
      *Luke 19;27*
27 *But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me.’"*
      --
      *1 John 2;22-25*
22 *Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah). Such a person is the antichrist--denying the Father and the Son.*
23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.
24 As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
25 And this is the promise that he made to us-eternal life.
      ===
      *1 John 4;2,3*
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: *every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,*
3 *and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.*
      ===
      *2 John 1;7*
7 *I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh,* have gone out into the world. *Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.*
      ====
The Jews and their Rabbis, like Rabbi Tovia Singer, in their hatred for Yehoshuah (Jesus) the Messiah, will do anything to deny and reject him and even go so far as to discredit the prophet Daniel who clearly prophesied *the exact date of Jesus his arrival.*
They have no excuse whatsoever for their rebellious nature and acts....it's exactly as Moses said:
      --
      *Deuteronomy 31;24-29*
The Law Placed in the Ark
24 *When Moses had finished WRITING IN A BOOK THE WORDS OF THE LAW from beginning to end,*
25 he gave this command to the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of Yehowah:
26 *“Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of Yehowah your God, so that it may remain there as a witness against you. (NO ORAL LAW)*
      --
      >>>> 27 *For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you are already rebelling against Yehowah while I am still alive, how much more will you rebel after my death!*
      --
28 Assemble before me all the elders of your tribes and all your officers *so that I may speak these words in their hearing and call heaven and earth to witness against them.*
29 *For I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt and turn from the path I have commanded you.* And in the days to come, disaster will befall you because you will do evil in the sight of Yehowah to provoke Him to anger by the work of your hands." *(Deuteronomy chapter 28;15-68)*

      *Matthew 22*
      *The Parable of the Banquet*
1 Once again, Jesus spoke to them in parables:
      -
2 “The kingdom of heaven *is like a king (Yehowah)* who prepared a wedding banquet *for his son (Yehoshuah = Jesus, the Anointed).*
      -
3 *He (Yehowah)* sent *his servants (the prophets) to call those (the priesthood)* he had invited to the banquet, *but they refused to come.*
      --
4 Again, *he (Yehowah)* sent *other servants (prophets)* and said, *‘Tell those who have been invited (the priesthood)* that I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
      -
5 But they paid no attention and went away, one to his field, another to his business.
      -
6 *The rest (of the priesthood) seized his servants (the prophets, mistreated them, and killed them. (Matthew 23;29-36)*
      --
7 *The king (Yehowah)* was enraged, *and he sent his troops (the Romans) to destroy those murderers (the priesthood) and burn their city (Jerusalem).*
      -
8 *Then he (Yehowah)* said *to his servants (those Jews who did acknowledge Jesus as the messiah, starting with the apostles),* ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited were not worthy.
      -
9 *Go therefore to the crossroads and invite to the banquet as many as you can find.'*
      ====
      ====
      *Matthew 28;18-20*
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, *“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.*
19 *Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in my name*
20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
      ====
      ====
10 *So the servants (the apostles and the other disciples of Jesus)* went out into the streets and gathered everyone they could find, both evil and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
      -
11 But when *the king (Yehowah)* came in *to see the guests (Christians),* he spotted *a man (Christians that claim to be anointed {sealed} and thus part of the Kingdom of Heaven, but are not)* who was not dressed in wedding clothes.
      -
12 ‘Friend,’ he asked, ‘how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ But the man was speechless.
      --
13 *Then the king (Yehowah) told the servants (angels),* ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ *(this will happen on the day of Armageddon)*
      -
14 *For many are called, but few are chosen." (to become part of the Bride of Christ, a.k.a. the Kingdom of heaven)*
      ============
      *Luke 14*
      *The Parable of the Banquet*
15 When one of those reclining with him heard this, he said to Jesus, “Blessed is everyone who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.”
      --
16 But Jesus replied, *“A certain man (Yehowah)* prepared a great banquet *and invited many guests (the priesthood).*
      --
17 When it was time for the banquet, *he (Yehowah)* sent *his servant (Yehoshuah) to tell those (the priesthood)* who had been invited, *‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ (Jesus began his ministry)*
      --
18 But one after another they all began to make excuses. The first one said, ‘I have bought a field, and I need to go see it. Please excuse me.’
      --
19 Another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them out. Please excuse me.’
      --
20 Still another said, ‘I have married a wife, so I cannot come.’
      --
21 *The servant (Yehoshuah = Jesus)* returned *and reported all this to his master (Yehowah).*
*Then the owner (Yehowah) of the house (temple and Israel)* became angry and said *to his servant (Yehoshuah),* ‘Go out quickly *into the streets and alleys of the city (Jerusalem),* and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’ *(the rest of the sons of Israel are invited...starting with the first Passover in Acts chapter 2)*
      --
22 ‘Sir,’ *the servant (Yehoshuah)* replied, ‘what *you (Yehowah)* ordered has been done, *and there is still room.’ (most Jews rejected Jesus and therefore the invitation to become part of the Kingdom of heaven went out to the Gentiles also)*
      --
23 *So the master (Yehowah) told his servant (Yehoshuah), ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel them (Gentiles) to come in, so that my house will be full.*
      --
24 *For I (Yehowah) tell you (Yehoshuah), not one of those men (the priesthood and Israel) who were invited will taste my banquet.’ ” (will be part of the Kingdom of Heaven)*

Rabbi Maimonides, the preeminent medieval Jewish philosopher and one of the greatest Torah scholars of the Middle Ages, said this about Daniel 9:24-27 - "Daniel has made known to us the knowledge of the end times.
However, since they are secret, the wise rabbis have barred the calculation of the days of Messiah's coming so that the untutored populace will not be led astray when they see that the End Times have already come but there is no sign of the Messiah" (Igeret Teiman,Chapter 3 p.24.)
Apparently, Maimonides believed that Daniel did accurately predict in advance events related to the "end times," including the date of the coming of the Messiah, but believed that they were "secret," or not understandable, and thus believed it best that the rabbis not teach Daniel chapter nine to their congregants lest they be dismayed if they believed they saw these events happening and the Messiah did not appear. A Sage said: "May the curse of heaven fall upon those who calculate the date of the advent of the Messiah, and thus create political and social unrest among the people."( Sanhedrin, 97b.)
Sanhedrin, 97 b is an excerpt from the Babylonian Talmud, a collection of ancient Rabbinic writings containing the basis of religious authority in Orthodox Judaism (the religion of those Jewish people who adhere most strictly to traditional Jewish beliefs and practices). Concerning Daniel chapter nine, Sanhedrin, 97b indicates that many rabbis believed that calculating the date of the coming of the Messiah might cause political and social unrest among the Jewish people, and thus thought it best not to perform the calculation. In fact, they felt so strongly about this that they pronounced a curse on anyone who calculated the date of Messiah's coming.

One of the problems with Christianity is that most Christian Sunday sermons are either solely about the New Testament or are Joel Osteen style sermons that have very little to do with either the New or Old Testament. Most of Joel Osteen type sermons resemble improved Tony Robbins motivational type lectures on how to be successful in life.
Deuteronomy 4:2 basically says not to substitute Joel Osteen type material for the Old Testament as Joel Osteen type sermons support Christianity’s adulterous & idolatrous worship of idols, money & financial success.
The reason the Old Testament is so important is that the Old Testament is more or less a history book of the human race. And if you don’t learn from history, you are doomed to repeat the same mistakes you have made in the past. The main problem with the New Testament is that in terms of a history book, it only goes back to the time of JC. The New Testament just doesn’t cover a very long time period. The Old Testament goes back to creation of the universe and covers a much larger time frame.
The big question is about whether or not Christians should be worried in the least.
The answer is found in Isaiah 27:1 with the Leviathan representing Christianity. G - - always lives up to His promises.

Daniel 9:24 fortells birth, jessus earthly ministry ,death and resurection. It was Gods plan given to Angel Gabriel to revealed to his servant Daniel. This prophecy is a remarkable bible prophecy.
The Jews nation were blinded by devil and did not grasp truth of the message that was given 490 years beforhand and was fulfiled through Jesus christ was conceived and born just as bible predicted.

I really like how you refute Christians but I don’t see your interpretation and explanation.

The evidence against your interpretation is that regardless of the when the 490 years began and ended, the prophecy said at the end everlasting righteousness would be established and the Most Holy Place annointed.
The 490 years would have, no matter where you start, run into the Roman occupation and eventual destruction of the second temple, and the dispersion of Jews another 2000 years (286 weeks).
I have read explanations based on your lectures that this is because the people sinned, and obviously must still be in their sin as no temple is built.
So, when are you going to concede that Messiah brought in everlasting lasting righteousness through His sacrifice, and having been raised from the dead Annointed the Most Holy Place in heaven and is waiting for your people to finally repent after all these years?
You are running out of time. The King draws near and your hands will be empty, having no sacrifice. Then, you will be left to justify yourselves before God, advocate for your own righteousness in opposition to His. I can hear it now, "look at me and my righteousness compared to all these countless worthless sinners (myself among them) who came before you weeping in repentance and pleading for mercy. I never sinned as those."

Rabbi Tovia Rashi himself states that this is about the Messiah. Daniel 9:24-27 once you conclude that the Messiah came to abolish sin once and for all and read in context (expiate) sin one can conclude that Matthew 24 (Jesus’ Olivet prophecy, the “anchor of prophecy”) and the book of Revelation. Both these sections of Scripture draw heavily on the material revealed to Daniel. Jesus and Paul assume that we recognize that Daniel provides the basic outline of events destined to happen just before the establishment of the Messianic Kingdom at Jesus’ return. The “wicked ruler who is to come” (Dan. 9:26). The RULER WHO IS TO COME. (The Last Days) See Daniel 7:8 Revelation 12:14, where it is defined as three and a half years (12:6). Revelation 13:5 reveals that “the Beast” will operate for 42 months. The same period of persecution under the Antichrist is described in Daniel 12:11 as 1290 days, to be dated from the setting up of the Abomination of Desolation (Dan. 11:31; cp. Matt. 24:15). Daniel 9 26 cannot be a reference to the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 since Titus, the leader of the attack, did not come to HIS END in that event. But the evil ruler will come to HIS END (Dan. 11:45) in the holy land just before the resurrection (Dan. 12:2).Brown Driver and Briggs Lexicon of the Hebrew Bible renders "kitzo" as "his end" (p. 893).

@Paula Wallace exactly, people don't realize Jesus has no tribe because he was supposedly born from a virgin, G-d gave specifics on how the messiah is suppose to come, from king David, threw king Solomon, so on and so on, for you to call Jesus a messiah means you're calling G-d a lier because G-d never said you're messiah is going to come from a virgin woman.

      @Relegion Scripture
      I have watched the video.
Mister Singer is addressing the wrong prophecy in the book of Daniel and incorrectly explains it.
I have just posted the correct explanation and why only Jesus Christ could fulfill the prophecy in the book op Daniel.
Please go to the video and select *"the newest comments"* and you will find it under my name.

You’re literally making an argument from silence, which is a fallacy. Doesn’t prove anything in fact, Your own commentator, Rashi, when speaking on Daniel 9, validates our claim so deal with it
