Hisako is my favorite new fighting game character from anything right now. Her design is the sickest thing I've ever seen in a fighting game. Bravo Killer Instinct, bravo.

This is character design at it's finest imo. You could easily make her into a film or game of her own. Imagine an open world format where you're a vengeful spirit like Hisako hellbent on revenge.
I like hearing Spinal when he is dragged into the ground during the stage ultra, but they left that out of the game, you don't hear any agonizing sounds when you do the stage ultras from any character.
Considering that Sadako is an angry child, and kayako is a student/housewife and Hisako is a trained warrior with real combat experience, I doubt there'd be much competition. They're all ghosts, so their powers are level. All that is left to compare is combat skill. Also: Sadako and Kayako are considered "Onryo", common wraiths. Hisako is considered a "Goryo", an Onryo who is upgraded to god status by the worship of people (the people of her village look to her spirit for protection). Sadako and Kayako have the rage and anger of one each to power them, where Hisako has generations of villagers to draw upon.
I wonder if there is a relationship between "ko", and spirits in Asia? There is actually a ghost fighter in the Capcom game Darkstalkers, and her name is Hsienko. I have noticed a lot of ghost characters to have the letters ko at the end of their names.

Her father was a samurai who’s master was killed in a rebellion and has since lived a life of solitude and started a family. She died when a bunch of soil fees came and raided her village but she actually rallied the villagers after her family was struck down to fight back. She successfully defended the village but succumbed to the injuries afterwards

You can hear Spinal going down into the ground in pain at the stage ultra but in the game there is no sound same with Aganos stage Ultra.
