If you search Ian ridpaths page on the web his rendalsham photo album has photos of what the East gate looked like in 1983, the view from the gate down the road was completely clear of trees and undergrowth, there was just a barrier at the gate back in 80.

I was told that the twin bases are joined by a tunnel. This would be large enough for vehicles as well as foot traffic.
lf you want to know more about the area l would see if Brenda Butler and Dot Street are still alive, they have a lot of experience and knowledge.
I heard that Dot Street moved away from the area down to Dorset I believe. The reason was because she became obsessed with the case which basically took over her life and she had to get away.
They are both still around, think dot lives in Kent now.
Of course it doesn’t sound healthy Ian, it’s a Vauxhall. Be nice to see those tunnel things .

looks like u missed a few buildings in the trees but to be fair they are easily missed..I used to work on the air base and it was always talked about as do a lot of the older locals so worth once pubs are open to go in and chat to the landlords as they have storys to tell and photos

You need to watch professor simons videos on RUclips about this. He had someone contact him that was on the us base there and knew what it was all about. It was a practice space capsule recovery mission. It's really interesting and well worth watching.

Just another cover story and there have been many over the years.
I think people should be more critical. The explanation professor Simon gave was really bad. How can he possibly match his explanation with the accounts of the witnesses?
@@tonyworrall5791 possibly, unfortunately it's probably something we'll never know. Somewhere there will be proper documentation about what happened that night but I doubt it'll come to light.
@@TearedtoBits people are notoriously bad witnesses though. Sadly I think whatever happened that night will never become public and will always remain a mystery!
Mind out for the evil smelling mushrooms! Mind you that was when I went in October a couple of years back. Were they still checking the air quality? They had these things hidden in the trees we found. I will have to go back there 🙂

Id like too see you gents do a night out excursion there as well as a few other places of known aerial odditys going on. Youre camera work surely lends too pretty impressive hd night imagery easily. Make it a Stealth camping, night aerial and land observation Kit.

Mate I like what you do but in your a voice over how many full stops are in your script? Direct speech punctuation is useful in emphasising important points but what you are doing isn't it. When you speak naturally. You have no such affectation. And it comes across. As clumsy when you adopt it. There wasn't. An inkling of it. In your video. Outside of the opening narration.
