And that's why I don't throw anything away. It looks like a baby black box. Awesome. You could even replace the bad led on the other module.

Genius and Geeky all at the same time! I am currently looking for replacement LED pads for my Maxspect razor #3. Can't find them. Coralvue is out of stock. Can't wait to see your final product!

That’s a cool diy but I would use thermal paste to adhere the puck to the heat sink. Also check the puck it might have the power rated stamp on it that will give you an idea how big of a power supply you need my biggest concern when doing these thing is making sure your current (amps ) isn’t to much for the board

Thanks for the tips! I don't see any power ratings on the board, but the original power supply which ran two led pads was 24V 156W. That should come out to 6.5A. My power supply is rated at 12V, 1.5A. I am assuming that means I am way under driving the board. Do you see any issues with that?

ReefSpy I think you’ll be fine I use a 1a power supply in a diy scrubber and it works fine for months now and it only has 5 LEDs

I used them for a little while, but I replaced it with a Kessil A80 light. Its much better.

What happent with the original light fixture? Why did u change the leds pucks in the first place? I have the same light 320w 4foot, and my blue leds died on 3 leds pucks( they are still light up but like 1% very faded at 100% intesity), offcours the other half works perfectly fine. What do u advide me to do? Please help me with an advise. Thank you.

Same thing really. One of the blue LEDs burned out on the pad and it took out the entire Blue channel. The only real solution I found was to contact the manufacturer and buy new LED pads. Swapping them out was an easy process.

@@ReefSpy thank you. So this is what I'm gonna do. Buy new led pads.

Birleanu Cezar cool. I would speak with their tech support first, in case it is some other cause. In my case it was a dead blue led.
