Sir Orthopaedics surgoens fresh junior surgoens in towns vs cities how much they can earn ? Sir private Vs corporate ? Quality Vs quantity .pls give tamilnadu situation sir
I am a general surgeon . I had passion for oncosurgery. I work in a medical College hospital at Mangalore, where our general Surgery unit operates more cancer cases than our oncosurgeon, we do more GI cases than Surgical gastroenterology, more Thyroid than endocrine surgery. So I am really reconsidering should I really do Mch. I have a really great job satisfaction with MS only.
Brother I you are planning for private practice, then you are your own master you know limits, your reaches. The same is true for government jobs in district hospital. But if you are planning to shift to MEDICAL College or a corporate hospital, you have to have a superspeciality degree
Interesting information, what is the scope of sub-specializing further in Neurosurgery, does getting a prestigious fellowship say in brain tumor resection provides an edge over general neurosurgeons ? Thank you
Sir there are total 600 seats for DM & DNB combined all over India for Cardiology while less than 200 MCh & DNB seats for CTVS. What impact will it have on the future regarding case load for the surgeons? And sir why don’t the surgeons try their hands at stenting and angioplasty?
