I found my old stolen car on google maps 22 years later after it happened. It was left in the woods near my home 10 miles away. Took my dog for a walk to see the rusty car that I spotted on google maps that been dumped and it was mine. Still had my toolbox in the boot. There was no dead body inside so never got any publicity. Shame.

They don't know what happened to him, all they know now where he ended up. If they knew what had happened to him then they'd know how he got there since there was nothing in that area due to it still being in development and they don't know that answer.
What’s crazy is they find cars with bodies in the canals and lakes here in Florida all the time. The water management district has a boat with a radar that scans the canals for vehicles so they can mark them and surface them.
It was a college student that disappeared from a country night club in Gwinnett Georgia... About 15 years ago... And his murder, was a match to another murder happen in Atlanta and about 1995-96... Almost exactly... The first boy was a white kid that was in college was at a nightclub, called, Cotton Club and, he was found drowned in a lake in Piedmont Park... the college student that has never been found after leaving a nightclub in Gwinnett County, Georgia... He was at a nightclub, I believe was called The Horseshoe... They never found his body... But there is a lake almost same exact distance from the lake Piedmont part from The Cotton Club...
My relatives had an employee that disappeared late one rainy night after he left work and wasnt found for over a dozen years and turned out he had just passed over a very busy bridge and somehow turned and went over the curb and into the water. There were deep scrape marks on the curb made by his car but they werent obvious enough to alert anyone at the time. Years later some kids were fishing off the end of the bridge and snagged their lures and dove down to try to recover them and found the car. Body was still inside. Normally that bridge is super busy and people fish off it all the time but nobody ever saw that car in about a dozen feet of water.
Hold up...so Him and his car are found dumped in a rentention lake in, what was at the time, a residential contrustion site and this case is SOLVED?! Lmfaooooo
This sounds really good keeping track of where the buses are and how the students are walking to school if it is safe And it was very lucky that you did now that man's family can rest easy knowing where he is
I used to live in Florida and had one of those exact lakes behind my house. There were always alligators in them so no one will ever go in the water, let alone want to get close to it.
Am I the only idiot that doesn't believe this is possible? Like I walk around my property and the surrounds area quite often. But these people haven't in 20 years?! What about the landscapes? They never noticed a fucking abandoned car in the pond of a nice neighborhood?
Can you imagine if that’s your house, there is a dead body only step away from your home & never knew it! Think of how many pool parties or people driving by this poor soul for years & he was just out of sight.
Wait you mean no one walking down the street or living in those houses ever looked in the lake in those 20 years? It wasn't even far from the shore this would've been clearly visible from the edge.
@@ZeroNineOverride it didn’t end up being that. It was a guy and his dog. Apparently the dog was wet so it left water marks on the wood, which made it look like blood from afar.
Has there been any investigation on how the car ever got there? Whose responsible ? Any info would be great. This is one of those stories I don’t mind reading about. Very mysterious and odd.

Pretty sure I found a dead body on Google Maps but I'm not sure what to do with it. I emailed it to a police department in the area but they never got back to me.
That's rough. Perhaps you could resend it, or, contact someone else who is in direct contact with your local department.

How has no one else spotted it? Looks right next to people’s back gardens. Especially as the neighbourhood looks immaculate. You’d have thought it would stand out like a sore thumb
It's in the video. They said the pond looks green and brown in person so the car blends into the pond.

I used to walk to Polo Park Middle. That was well over a decade ago and this car still would have been there and the time. Crazy!
I feel so bad for those people just hanging out in the backyard not realizing that there is a dead body nearby 🤢
I'm sure there's dead bodies or remains close to most of us
When you’re checking up on your ex and accidentally uncover a 22 year old mystery I guess you need a good story to back it all up 😂
Amazing, and I am grateful to see technology being used in a positive way
I found my old stolen car on google maps 22 years later after it happened. It was left in the woods near my home 10 miles away. Took my dog for a walk to see the rusty car that I spotted on google maps that been dumped and it was mine. Still had my toolbox in the boot. There was no dead body inside so never got any publicity. Shame.
Damn, that crazy

Wow...this is an insane story! Just..unimaginable ! Good for him for solving a 22yr old case!!

Great guy. Hes the guy that calls in a amber alerts license plates. I love how he routes the students to safety. Just imagine live version of Google maps catching something sus.
Huh. Fascinating. I'm glad he was eventually found. His family now knows for certain what happened to him.

Thinks thats sad & awesome at same time. Unsolved cases, missing persons found
Williams been found, RIP.
That's the headline here, nothing else.
Plot Twist: he’s the murderer and just waited till now to “solve” it

Beautiful work brother
Man was actually just checking out his ex girls house on google maps
it gives me shivers thinking that he's been sitting in that car dead for 7 years more than my age!
This sounds really good keeping track of where the buses are and how the students are walking to school if it is safe And it was very lucky that you did now that man's family can rest easy knowing where he is
This is just sad nobody searched for him in the water for 20+ yeard, like cmon
Nobody knew he was in that specific lake or that he even died
you think looking for a missing person is that easy?
@@OMR6468 Yeah but it's weird nobody checked the water or cleaned the water or did something
Crazy how there’s that many people living around that lake but no one found it
Yay you Guys are back!
how can there be a car with a dead person sitting right under the surface in this residential area?
Watch and listen to the video
And don’t forget it’s Florida
I actually live in that neighborhood... I never suspected anything being in the lakes
The man literally solved a missing persons case and y'all just care that he possibly stalked his ex-girlfriend.
