one question. how on earth would they prove that bad google review came from her? i'm sure if the day after the incident they got a bad google, tripadvisor etc. review with her exact problems everyone will know that it's her but how can the prove it to enforce the nda?
@@TheCheerLifeForeverKromie The parents probably wouldn't be included in the complaining party since they weren't the ones who got upgraded in exchange for signing an NDA. But even if they tried to include them, they would still have to sign it themselves. No individual can sign an NDA ensuring other individuals' silence (or any other kind of contract, really). That could only work with some kind of legal entity including all of them like an org or a company and even then it's the entity that would get dinged and not the individual. So, hopefully they do leave bad reviews because a plqce like that sounds like it would make for a nightmare of an overpriced vacation.
@@bilegttsolmon6027 They subpeona google for the IP of the review and if it was posted via a phone or tablet owned by Kronii, that would be pretty definitive. If she posted it from her personal PC they could only track as far which house the IP belongs to, but if she lives alone that's also pretty definitive. The real question I'd have is if such an NDA is even enforceable. It sounded like she was only prohibited from talking about it on social media, so she could talk about it openly in person and then that person could post the details. If the information covered by the NDA becomes public knowledge there's a strong possibility the NDA is no longer valid. It's basically just a pinky swear that you won't complain on Social Media.
Kronii using a completely still avatar that she can just easily rotate around either with her mouse or facial movements is pure genius, makes her frustrations look so much more hilarious 🤣
As someone who has worked Guest Services at Illinois' Largest Waterpark, if you have a complaint, it goes a LONG way to preface your frustration with "I know its not your guys' fault specifically, so I'm not trying to take it out on you, but..."
Sounds like her parents room also had faulty plumbing. Probably a faulty toilet gasket letting smell back in. They owed her a free room after that, and she should have posted a bad review on it afterwards anyway. An American court isn't gonna enforce that shady agreement.
Her one Google review on that hotel/resort will actually change that hotel/resort world like never before... but yea it sucks that sometimes things like this happen when going on vacation but she actually could get a better deal out of this ordeal, for one she could atleast get free dinner and spa if she pushed for it a little more. Being Karen is shitty but sometimes it need to be embraced because situation calls for it.
Yeah but: - they'll use every dirty tricks in the book to remove her reviews, all scummy businesses invest in reviews tampering services - if they ever figure out she's any famous, they'll fuck up her PR and disclose everything in retaliation - her talking about this story, even without the details, would instantly blow her cover (sic) if she forgets to use a throwaway account for her review
That is why I never go to Cancun. Riviera Maya you normally do get good resorts and its close enough to Cancun that if you want to go party, is not far away. Even more so if Kroniis parents aren’t going to party
I love the bobble head flinging around she does while telling this story. It's justified, like man... That's messed up. Best part - Especially with this model - is "they said they were going to give me chocolate." *Stares into the camera in silence*
She should absolutely spin that story on their review site, with every detail, phuck these people, that review alone could turn lots of potential customers away. She also shouldn't stop at their site but also do that on independent sites too. This is utterly intolerable, 5 star hotel my ass, how about pos third world treatment ?
Tell me you've never been to a 3rd world country hotel without telling me. Labour is cheap so at anything 3* and above you get treated like royals. Everytime
Let this be an additional reason for using a credit card during booking. If this happens to you, you can threaten them with a charge back. This is absolutely unacceptable and you should have been refunded entirely.
Its a vicious cycle. You wouldnt have shitty customers without shitty service. Take this from someone who worked in customer service for almost 10 years. Ive seen a fair share of shitty people behind *and* in front of the counter. If you dont want shitty customers, dont be a shitty business.
Hotel employee of a major brand here, I’m going to make some general assumptions based off context provided in this video and then give you guys a probable explanation on how this could happen. Facts: Kronii booked the hotel through a travel agency aka a “third party” so the hotel literally doesn’t have her money. The Travel Agency/Third Party does. This means that they cannot change the room type or room rate without getting a hold of the Travel Agency/Third Party. This also means the hotel just can’t buy them a free night at a different hotel in the area because they don’t have the money from Kronii until they check out. Two: I’m assuming the hotel was fully booked on the room type Kronii’s parents were in, so they could not move them to another. It was likely a pet-friendly room as well. Three: Housekeeping is not there 24/7. All hotels are different. However, the front desk should have at least opened the windows and put in the air filter machine in that room overnight. Three: It varies on a personal basis, but if a hotel has over like 300 rooms they probably have secret out-of-order rooms. They’re out of order because there’s something wrong with the room and they haven’t fixed it. That’s what Kronii’s parents were moved to temporarily. Four: I’m guessing none of the front desk managers have financial authority to approve of compensation and were unable to get a hold of someone who does. The chocolates are funny, personally I would’ve thrown in a wine bottle per room as well and just eat the reprimanding/write-up that would happen. Five: Yeah, if the front desk / guest reservations thinks you’re a pushover, they will treat you like trash. Be firm, but polite wording. If they say a manager is not available, they’re probably telling the truth and ask them to have a manager to call you in the morning and give them a time.
For compensation, they will likely offer points if you’re a rewards member. A generous amount. If you’re not a member, you’ll probably get 10-30% off max the total amount or a free night. That’s assuming if the GM (General Manager) isn’t stupid.
do you have an idea how the room can get the unclearable sewage smell? isnt that the most unbearable thing staying in a room? the flood, was the bathroom isnt designed to flow water into the hole?
@@lqfr8813 The sewage smell is likely a problem the pipes. Hotel will need to contact a dedicated plumbing company and their City office to take a look at it. It could take weeks to fix. It should have been marked out-of-order just for the intensity of the smell. To be specific rooms have to be cleaned by a housekeeper then verified by the Head Housekeeper or a manager. I’m assuming the Kronii’s parents room did not get verified because I would have not sold that room to anyone. I would have already moved someone that morning to a different hotel for a free night aka “walking a guest.” Yes, the shower is unfortunately a common problem for certain hotel chains because the design is standardized by the Brand. There’s nothing you can do about it. You can ask if you can get a shower with a bathtub alternatively.
Hotel Manager: I don't see any probl- Kronii: ...I'm gonna eradicate your entire bloodline ancestry in the past, erase your existence in the present day and obviously no possible future for your brethren in any existing timelines... Joke aside though, what a trip...
I wonder if she got the rooms via one of those room reselling services/bulk buyers. She did say "good deal". I say that because people coming in from those places are hotel's least favorite customers. That said, she also gave waaaay too many details on her hotel, would not be hard to figure out which one it was if you were at all familiar with hotels in the area.
"Karen" is such a misused term: when you aren't being provided with the service you were promised, that you literally paid for - you HAVE to complain, and you HAVE to be obnoxious about it. Yes, it isn't always or even typically the fault of the people you are complaining to, and you should keep that in mind and not treat them like garbage, lay the blame where it belongs as much as possible. But you HAVE to let them know that THIS is not okay. THIS is not good service. A "real" "karen" is someone who is unreasonably upset about something minor or imagined, and taking their anger out the guys behind the counter, working the desk, answering the phone, whatever. Complaining to customer support or HR does not make you a Karen - It's what you are SUPPOSED TO DO, and not doing it only emboldens companies to ignore customer complaints and provide substandard services, because they know they can. Even the term "Karen" works in their favor; it completely delegitimized the customer's rights. There is a fine line between filing a legitimate complaint and being a Karen, but the line is there.
Why can't managers just be straight up and real with them in the first place? Even my manager is like this, where they try to comfort the customer through progressive stages to see which one works, and usually it just the customer even more heated.
I can't say that she's the Karen in this situation. She's not getting things that she paid for, and hotel staff handled it very poorly when she complained. Anyone have a right to get angry.
As someone who works in customer service, a legitimate complaint will never make a person a "Karen". Funnily enough, if someone dubs you as such for making a legitimate complaint, they are a "Service Karen". Always have a backbone, hombres, because there be piss-takers out there.
Kronii's moving reminds me of old res vs blue machinima's. Kronii's Karen mode is completely justified. Both her's and her parent's rooms were faulty and the hotel was trying to do the bare mimimum to shut them up. Also Kronii saying stuff will absolutely make a difference with how many people will clip and watch it. What the hell kind of 5 star reputation hotel has a room that smells like shit, and faulty showers...
Yes. The 1 bad google review will ruin their image. They will fight tooth and nail to not get that review. Alot of people will decide whether or not they're going to stay in a place based on review alone.
To be fair, that 1 bad review could impact their image. At least for me, a review with almost 99% good reviews and I see 1 bad review. I'd be hesitant. Because, if it just have 1 bad review must be really bad.
As one person, probably not too much of an issue. But it if it is an ongoing issue, it’ll definitely artificially keep their ratings high. Also, as Kronii, she could have done a bit of damage if she name dropped.
@@popenieafantome9527(I realized I wrote an essay, sorry) As a traveling man, and frequenter of hotels. I check all the bad reviews first. All 1 star reviews, if they all have a common theme, I don’t care what the good reviews say because the honest reviews are the low ones. I still check other reviews though, I work up from lowest first. I skim 2 and most of 3, check a bit more or 4 and try to find similarities in the 5 stars. If most 5 star reviews are blank or say little but have a common theme of “Good service” and not much about how or why it’s good, I classify it as a padded 5 star, if it’s an in depth or short but clear review of why it’s 5 stars, those get my attention more than the 1 star. Example: I had a 4* hotel locally that had decent 4 star reviews and a few honest 1 star, a few 5 star with no words or few words, upon getting the room I always check everything as soon as I get in and drop my stuff. Any issues and I personally go down to the front desk and patiently wait until I’m serviced, then explain the problem I’ve encountered and depending on how bad it is allow them to handle it at their leisure. The particular problem with the 4* was that my room had carpet beetles and we didn’t discover it until after a night passed. I killed and picked one up then brought it to the front desk and discreetly showed them, told them what it was and which room it was in, explained what the insect did and why they should handle it as soon as possible, now it seems more like their problem than mine and I didn’t escalate the issue aggressively. I was offered an upgraded room and a partial refund, I declined both because they did their jobs excellently by handling it quickly and I was only staying in that room for the night anyway, though the one more day offer was tempting.
Wow that's a really strange service they have there. I once had a similar issue in a hotel oversea before but that was a really cheap hotel out in the boonies. The toilet smelled like there was a dead body in there most likely due to the sewerage system. I checked my friends room and some was fine but some wasn't so I complained to the management. All they did was they throw a whole lot toilet fresheners in there which sounded really silly but it actually worked like a charm. The smell came back after like a day though so they came to do same thing again. Really makes me wonder what kind of "5 star" hotel Kronii went to.
She really underestimates the power of her review. Done the right way, it can really destroy this hotel. She needed someone more experienced in negotiations, because they clearly gave her a shitty deal.
Trying to make up for shitty service with more chocolate is the most hilariously incompetent thing they could have done. I've had my fair share of bad hotels, but when it's that bad you just gotta put your foot down and give them an ultimatum.
Long time ago, we had a dinner with my uncle. It was the second time we had a dinner in that restaurant. Only my order than hadn't served. We thought it was a delay, cooking time, etc. We had a good time, until all of my siblings finished their meal, my uncle had enough waiting. When he went to the front desk, it was revealed that it was out of stock. Finally, I ordered another meal. While eating, I could hear my uncle chewing out at the staff at the front desk. After that, we never go to that restaurant again.
She wasn't being a karen. They failed to provide even a reasonable level of service and Kronii was practically showing a saints level of patience. Karens expectations are never reasonable.
When I went to Cabo with my family, it wasn’t poop and pee bad, but our room did stink of raid and other bug killers, so my dad went to complain, and he already gets angry but this was one of the angriest I’d seen him, which makes sense given the plane ride, dealing with the airport, the long drive to the resort, checking in, etc, only to find a disgusting room, it’s a little upsetting. But by the end they upgraded us to a connected suite, and the only “bad” thing was a lizard on the ceiling that I tried to catch and accidentally killed. I still have flashbacks😢. The point is idk if this is like a resort right of passage thing that they give you a shitty room to start then see how you react, but the fact that it happened twice is weird, and my resort was so nice, too.
People miss these ladies when they take breaks throughout the year, but people forget that the HoloEn curse is beyond streaming scuff. It ruins entire holiday vacations for them as well 😅
For a 5 star establishment, that is disgusting, and that contract seems so sketchy. I don't know the location, but if it was available, I would have tried to find somewhere else to stay, try for a refund, and then absolutely slam them on review sites. That's the kind of room experience you would expect from a sketchy motel that costs like $30 a night. I also hate when they throw around the values of rooms when they screw up, like its not costing the business any money to upgrade your room, just the potential for another customer to take your place.
If this was in America or Canada, she could have filed a Civil Suit snd won pretty easily. Idk if she would get damages, but she could get the hotel to pay enough to set her situation to before she booked the hotel

one question. how on earth would they prove that bad google review came from her? i'm sure if the day after the incident they got a bad google, tripadvisor etc. review with her exact problems everyone will know that it's her but how can the prove it to enforce the nda?
@@Sutherus I see. Thank you for further explanation.
:) Then I hope they leave some 1 star on Google there as well.
That's not a karen complaint, but a standard customer one. I've had hotels upgrade me to Suites for less.
I love the rotation. She should do more streams like this.
Watching this in 2x speed was quite the experience.
Kronii: and THEN (accidentally bonks her own head with the table) Oww!!
"It really ticked me"
Cuz she's a clock.
Ah but there's the issue, she wasn't in the US.
She was in Cancun, Mexico. The land crooks and liars.
Canadian wouldn't either
thank you for the clip!
Gotta love those Kroniikopter motions
Her one Google review on that hotel/resort will actually change that hotel/resort world like never before... but yea it sucks that sometimes things like this happen when going on vacation but she actually could get a better deal out of this ordeal, for one she could atleast get free dinner and spa if she pushed for it a little more. Being Karen is shitty but sometimes it need to be embraced because situation calls for it.
Man I feel bad for Kronii and time parents cause that’s messed up
How does she give her little 3d model so much character and emotion without anything other than moving her model around
She got a gag order, but her parents don't since they're 2 different customers. Should totally drag the resort through the mud.
Yeah but:
- they'll use every dirty tricks in the book to remove her reviews, all scummy businesses invest in reviews tampering services
- if they ever figure out she's any famous, they'll fuck up her PR and disclose everything in retaliation
- her talking about this story, even without the details, would instantly blow her cover (sic) if she forgets to use a throwaway account for her review
Not that the gag order should be enforcable anyway, given the circumstances under which it was signed.
Now I will have to listen closely to any recorded Karens and I might find the clock
Smol Kronii's straight face makes the whole story way funnier than it should be 😂
Also the render moving all around made me think of Eternal love lmao
i didnt have time to watch full this stream. Thank you for this... i can understand a part of
She should absolutely spin that story on their review site, with every detail, phuck these people, that review alone could turn lots of potential customers away. She also shouldn't stop at their site but also do that on independent sites too. This is utterly intolerable, 5 star hotel my ass, how about pos third world treatment ?
Hey buddy my third world country have bad hotels but atleast I never got wet floor
Tell me you've never been to a 3rd world country hotel without telling me. Labour is cheap so at anything 3* and above you get treated like royals. Everytime
No need, she rekt Cancun tourism and Mexico's as well on live stream.

Hotel employee of a major brand here,
I’m going to make some general assumptions based off context provided in this video and then give you guys a probable explanation on how this could happen.
I would have already moved someone that morning to a different hotel for a free night aka “walking a guest.”
Yes, the shower is unfortunately a common problem for certain hotel chains because the design is standardized by the Brand. There’s nothing you can do about it. You can ask if you can get a shower with a bathtub alternatively.
tbh i wouldnt even call that "karen" mode. Unlike actual karens, Kronii was being VERY patient
Yeah, she was being pretty polite in her "Karen" mode, especially since it's allegedly an expensive 5 star resort.
Hotel Manager: I don't see any probl-
Kronii: ...I'm gonna eradicate your entire bloodline ancestry in the past, erase your existence in the present day and obviously no possible future for your brethren in any existing timelines...
Joke aside though, what a trip...
You forget that she will do it in other timelines at well. He beyond fk
0:13 Kroniii going crazy with her model is so funny
I wonder if she got the rooms via one of those room reselling services/bulk buyers. She did say "good deal". I say that because people coming in from those places are hotel's least favorite customers. That said, she also gave waaaay too many details on her hotel, would not be hard to figure out which one it was if you were at all familiar with hotels in the area.
Kronii's miniature figure spinning around while she is malding is so funny 😂
Scary mommy Kroni

Kronii's moving reminds me of old res vs blue machinima's.
Kronii's Karen mode is completely justified. Both her's and her parent's rooms were faulty and the hotel was trying to do the bare mimimum to shut them up.
Also Kronii saying stuff will absolutely make a difference with how many people will clip and watch it.
What the hell kind of 5 star reputation hotel has a room that smells like shit, and faulty showers...
True, but she can't exactly say what hotel she was in without risk of doxxing herself.
I was offered an upgraded room and a partial refund, I declined both because they did their jobs excellently by handling it quickly and I was only staying in that room for the night anyway, though the one more day offer was tempting.
that chocolate gift is like rubbing salt in to the wound.
The "end then" lmao
This Kronii needs a black metal bgm
6:55 now I'm imagining Kronii repeatedly yelling "CHOCOLATE!" like that one fish from Spongebob.
I must have grown several grey hairs listening to that story. I would have absolutely lost it if I was in her shoes

After the valley girl on the plane, and now this
So much fun to hear all of her complain
I had experiences like that with my family
Last time, I think we got a complementary free dinner at Disney (alongside one of the Hotel's managers)
A real karen move was to call the cops for fraud
yes... but there is no Law in Mexico.
Kronii's movement through the entire clip had me dying 😂
A lot of latam moments but even in those moments, would be necessary being a Karen, even more if it's all about a Resort's service
That maniacal laugh at the end got me lol
I don’t think I’d leave them alone until I got my money back. That is literally stuff you’d expect from a $30 truck stop motel.
I would've just said "we're checking out and publishing it on social media" after not getting a different room for my parents.
Love her. And the bobble head model is icing on the cake
The way she moves her avatar is hilarious
Idk man I won't mess around with a karen kronii, I'd be scared shit, but this bobblehead kronii movements make it so funny also.
kronii should have just power washed the room :D
Somehow Kronii seems even more expressive than usual with that model. What a horror story!
Many people who live in Cancun always sugest to never come to Cancun
Kronii is running the voice now
Man, I hope kronii knew about Profeco (customer's rights protection in Mexico), what that resort did is completely unacceptable.
She, in this avatar, made the story and reaction even better. Well the experience sucks but yeah was entertaining to watch.
She wasn't being a karen. They failed to provide even a reasonable level of service and Kronii was practically showing a saints level of patience. Karens expectations are never reasonable.
It's really sad to see kronii having to deal with that while she is vacationing in my country :/
Reasonable
Never knew how cute beeg smol Kronii really is
You know it's good chocolate when you find it in the stinky poopoo room.
I'd be throwing hands after the first poopoo smell room
Sadly it was Mexico, and Mexico sucks (yes I am mexican how did you know?)
