Mick’s keys and vocals... Keith’s guitar... The song’s lyrics and the circumstances surrounding Keith... The bittersweet beauty of the music... Chills up my spine every time.

No band today can write and play something like this live,,,,,,simply awesome. Keiths playing here,,and he lost a child very recent. Beautiful inspired playing by Keith.

Keiths son just died of SIDS the night before...... having to be on stage and hear Jagger sing "daddy, you're a fool to cry" must have not been the best night of his career.

@@Methilde Do you understand the difference between a fast-paced rock song (like the end of 100 Years Ago) and a slow ballad (Fool to Cry)?
Keith played wah wah perfectly on this song. He also played it perfectly on Through the Lonely Nights. Both ballads, not fast paced.

2 months, actually. He played the night before as well, just after he found out, and decided to keep it a secret so the show would go on. Apparently he said that performing was the only way he could cope... So sad, and kind of inspiring at the same time.

zelesluk1 damn that's insane. and regardless of that, this is keith at his best moment probably. I mean the 70's were the best times for the rock&roll scene but never seen them play so good and with heart like what is being played here.

@@zelesluk1 According to his biography "I was in Paris, with Marlon, on tour when I got the news that our little son Tara, aged just over two months, had been found dead in his cot. I got the phone call as I was getting ready to do the show. And it's a “Sorry to tell you... ,” which hits you like a gunshot. And “No doubt you're going to want to cancel the show.” And I thought about it for a few seconds and I said, of course we're not canceling. It would be the worst possible thing because there was nowhere else to go. What am I going to do, drive back to Switzerland and find out what didn't happen? It's happened already. It's done. Or sit there and mope and go bananas and get into, what? Why?"
