I don't have the money to visit a dermatologist, so I really appreciate your videos! Et j'aime que vous parlez français!
The Ordinary glycolic acid toner and AmLactin lotion are great for KP, as for melasma, the Cerave retinoid is great, and the La Roche tinted sunscreen (for pigmentation) helps with extra protection and hiding visible patches, hope this helps!
Please do a video with a sample weekly and daily routine. Knowing about all these products is great, but how to actually use them in a routine would be be extremely useful.

nipple cream!!!! The dryness and cracking cycle makes me hyperpigment. I cleared it in 2 days with lanolin nipple cream. Cracked nipple skin = cracked mouth skin. It cleared so quickly. I was actually using hydroquinone, retinoid, vitamin c, and niacinimide in 2 different products for 2 months with no luck. Nipple cream knocked it out!

I’ve always had bad skin, especially acne, and I was tired of trying all the expensive stuff. The subliminal affirmations on borlest have honestly been the one thing that’s made a real difference. My skin feels so much better now.
So off topic but the view of the city in the background and the ambience in general were super calming for some reason. Thank you for posting these videos 💓💓
This is the first time I’ve seen someone mention Addison’s Disease related to melasma, so thank you. I have both. Also, lots of sun damage from my youth (in AZ no sunscreen whatsoever, frequent blistering sunburn as a child). The three things together make it hard to treat my large melasma patches on the face, neck, and chest. I do wear sunscreen religiously though.
Ambi has made a world of difference for my spots when I use it as a spot treatment. I dab it on the spots that are darker and create a sort of dot mask on my face and leave it on for like 5 minutes then I rub them in, let it absorb and then slather on that sunscreen. I use it on and off and it has been a game changer for me for sure
@efatjokar7393 I just looked and it looks like they don’t make it with that ingredient anymore which really sucks lol but if you want to pay more money, I think some of the prescription companies online will prescribe the ingredient still
YESSSSS!!!! I need this! Thank you! EDIT: I have been prescribed 8% hydroquinone by my dermatologist. With the other products you recommended to help hyperpigmentation, could you next touch on, or write a blog for Pillowtalk Derm, that says which ingredients you can and can't use with hydroquinone during the same application?
@tabbyjoyce9379 I think it might have if I'd kept using it. It didn't help that it began to smell strongly like maple syrup, which made my husband not want to be anywhere near me on the nights I used it. Sorry, I prefer cuddles with my man. Lol. I wish I had a better answer for you.
Honestly, my skin has never looked this good. Whether it was breakouts or rough texture, the subliminal affirmations on borlest helped smooth everything out. It’s amazing how much has changed!
Yesss! The beauty of Joseon Sunscreen, you finally used it. So much love for that sunscreen! I even purchased 3 tubes bec I tried one bottle and I emptied it for 2 mos only. It's a sunscreen and a moisturizer for me which helps me on the process of trimming or simplifying my skincare. It really surpass the expensive sunscreens out in the market with the same result or even better. It's truly worth the hype!

Good morning Dr Idriss and everyone ❤ It seems like Dr Idriss has read my mind 😄 (I have already added Alpha Arbutin to my Routine, can't wait to learn more)
Beauty of Jeoson is one of the most popular ones in Europe and Poland as well. Korean cosmetics are extremelly popular here. And this particular one uv cream is my favourite too
Thank you for this video and the other last one you did! Im Hispanic light skinned 33 turning 34 this year. I’ve had it since my 25’s I have 2 boys 10 & 11. This has me very depressed!! I have sooo many skin care products high end and cheaper and nothing works.. its to the point where I don’t want to go anywhere just to work and back home. I’ve also bought vitamins and 👎 btw you are sooo beautiful 💕
Can you do an instructional video on how to layer products for Melasma and Hyperpigmentation? I have all of the products, I want to learn how to use them for most benefits.
I’m 66. Live in Fl. Grew up in the sun! I hate that my chest has so much sun damage. I think it’s too late for me so I try to encourage young girls to use sun protection!!
I've struggled with breakouts forever and nothing seemed to work. I’ve been listening to the subliminal affirmations on borlest for a few weeks now, and I swear my skin has never looked this clear. I didn’t expect it to work, but it really did.
I think they clear the Korean sunscreens as moisturizer etc to the us customs and that’s how they are able to sell it. It’s also the method krave beauty used for her discontinued sunscreen
I swear you have made it so much easier to learn about skin when I don't get enough time for research and learn myself due to my studies now I just have to watch one video every Saturday. It's amazing how much I can learn from just one video
That helped me as well and the only one I learned about it from is the guy on Mad about Skin. Check him out if you like a lively, friendly video. He is not a dermatologist and doesn't pretend to be but give a look anyway 😅
Yess! It’s nice to find more Brazilians in her videos 🇧🇷 When she said: “vamos, vamos, vamos”, I got like 😍😍😍 She said just like a Brazilian would say. Perfect accent!
You're so funny when you're hyper!!! I'm just dying here, so many funny moments in this video! I definitely want to see that video with your own skin on special camera!
Can you cycle on and off hydroquinone indefinitely to maintain an even skin tone? Does it prevent new pigmentation or just help with pigmentation that already exists? Thanks!
Yes Dr Idriss uses it on and off. It lightens old hyperpigmentation and also prevents new hyperpigmentation. I alternate it with azelaic acid and vitamin C. I use it for three months and then take one to two months off.
Thanks, Megan. I use #touchbeauty light therapy for over 8 months. It helped even out the skin tone and brighten the skin. The appearance of the dark spots is reducing!!

I love the Beauty of Josean spf! So beautiful. Stylevana takes a long time to ship right now as it’s coming from Hong King. They said due to covid, there are fewer flights out. So expect 3-4 weeks to get this.
THANK YOU DR SHEREEENE! 'm 16 and recently noticed some dark spots around the eye and it might be because of the sun damage lol i never used sunscreen when i used to be a swimmer. It hasn't changed for a few months hopefully after i do some changes it will improve my skin tone.

The fact that nobody talks about subliminal affirmations for perfect skin and beauty on Borlest speaks volumes about how people are missing out. My next issue are dark spots! Thank you!!!
Good morning Dr Idriss and everyone ❤
It seems like Dr Idriss has read my mind 😄 (I have already added Alpha Arbutin to my Routine, can't wait to learn more)
Beauty of Jeoson is one of the most popular ones in Europe and Poland as well.
Vitamin c
Azaleic acid
Niacinamide 5%
Arbutrin
Licorie root extract
Konica acid
I've struggled with breakouts forever and nothing seemed to work. I’ve been listening to the subliminal affirmations on borlest for a few weeks now, and I swear my skin has never looked this clear. I didn’t expect it to work, but it really did.
Dr. Idriss, it would make my life if you pulled a Huda Beauty and did a video in Arabic! Awesome video, thank youuuuu for this 💖
I really like the Inkey List's Alpha Arbutin. Such a help with my PIH! I liked their azelaic acid too before they discontinued it. 😑
Oh if you’re recently obsessed with the Korean sunscreens, you should try the Japanese ones… even better. I’ve been using them for 15 years.
brand sunscreen
You are the main resson I wanna visit New York 🙋🏻♀️
Thank you so much for all the skin care education.
Can you also do a video on how to layer the products mentioned?
Thanks!
Needed this ❤✨
Please make video about “Facial hair removal methods” ❤
I absolutely love you...your energy and wisdom is invaluable.
Hi Shereen, can you please talk about LIPS hyperpigmentation? You promised to do it one day 🙏🙏
Tranexamic acid has been a life saver for my hyperpigmentation
That helped me as well and the only one I learned about it from is the guy on Mad about Skin. Check him out if you like a lively, friendly video. He is not a dermatologist and doesn't pretend to be but give a look anyway 😅
Tanks for your tips, doc! Brazilians are looking for you!❤
Beautiful, thank you! Timeless vitamin C is wonderful indeed. I’ll try to get the Korean sun screen
Hi doc ! Please do a video about acne redness/red marks left after acne. Thankyou. Love your videos 🥰
@@jenniferkwok2897 what's there name of your light therapy? And what is your routine with it?
@@SarahHLeslie The brand name is #touchbeauty. I always use light therapy after removing makeup and cleansing the skin. Several minutes is finished. Then follow my daily skincare routine. Hope this gives you some ideas. :)
Yesstyle and Olive young also carries K beauty and sunscreens!
I know I am late to the party, but I just started watching and I LOVE your videos. They are incredibly helpful, and I enjoy your sense of humor as well. I use Timeless Vitamin C in the mornings along with Good Molecules Niacinamide Toner which is a personal favorite of mine. It includes niacinamide, Vitamin C, Arbutin, licorice root at $14 for 4 fl oz. It is a favorite of mine.

I love the Beauty of Josean spf! So beautiful. Stylevana takes a long time to ship right now as it’s coming from Hong King. They said due to covid, there are fewer flights out. So expect 3-4 weeks to get this.
I could watch you talk about cotton balls even for hours. Ty!!!!
Nice Video, but I cant forget the day I saw doctor iyhere on RUclips, I used his herbal medication and it cured me completely and permanently, right now I have no spots, rashes or black patches on my face nor Skin.
I'd love to hear you talk about skincare masks. I feel like they're so popular for "self-care" and for fun, but are they actually helpful? hurtful? are there any good ones? I'd love to know! I love your videos!
I can binge watch your channel everyday
@Text me on Telegram @Giveawayshortlist I'm happy that you replied. Thank you
Hi Dr Idriss! Will you do your comparison and recommendation video on LED masks soon?
We so appreciate you, giving us your time and ❤️ wisdom. I added Vit C. and have noticed a difference 💝💝💝

P.S.. You have a great sense of style. Your shirts are always very pretty💜💜
Thank you again for sharing your knowledge. I'm completely bummed I found you after I moved out of NY. I made a dermatology appointment. I had to wait 6 months, so I used Agency to get a tretinoin formula and a hydroquinone formula.
Many blessings to you and yours. 💖💖💖
Thank you for sharingggg! Andd it would be nice if you could explain more about hydroquinone, i havent seen anyone cover that topic
Just subscribed to your channel, and i think you're great! You're so straight up and love it! Your gestures are great! Thanks for the info ...... all the way from Canada
Japanese sunscreen Canmake in clear is amazing PA++++ SPF 50 and doesn’t burn the eyes 😊
name of brand
👋 thank you so much for another video on hyperpigmentation. I wanted to know what is the best way to combine all the ingredients that you have suggested pls? Is there an order or application or should we avoid mixing some of these pls?
Your hair looks amazing!!! Would you share your colorist in ny? Thank you so much Dr Idriss! Loved the video, too.
I found your channel about two weeks ago and omgggg you’re amazing
The fact that nobody talks about subliminal affirmations for perfect skin and beauty on Borlest speaks volumes about how people are missing out. Trust me on this-using subliminals can change your life. The power of the mind to heal and transform your skin is incredible when you tap into the right frequencies.
i would be interested in a video what kind of skin care i should avoid or use in summer holidays (on vacation).
