I just purchased one of these. Been looking for a G for awhile, but couldn't quite find the one that hit the sweet spot on looks, function, and price. This one clicked with me right when I saw it, but I thought it would be closer to $250. When I saw that I could have it for almost half that price it was a no brainier! Can't wait for it to get here. Definitely the quickest time between seeing a watch for the first time and purchasing EVER! And I totally agree this is definitely the color way to get. Beautifully shot video!
Just found out it glows in the dark. Someone made a comment before that it glowed and people were laughing. Well I wore mine today and the whole white part of the neon strap was glowing when I walked in my home into a dark room 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is the true Heavy Duty of G-Shocks. Highly unique, not top of my list but very interesting, I'm after the GBD H1000 G-Squad right now. Great video as always man. Cheers...

Hey, I know it‘s been quite some time since this video was posted, but wanted to share my opinion. I bought the black and yellow one, because I‘ve read some people having trouble reading the the time on the green screen watch. Reason being, that the metallic numbers are only visible if you directly look from above. Otherwise the metallic color will merge with the green one. In the yellow one I have, the numbers won’t fade away if you look at different angles, or at least not that much. Only wanted to share my experience. :)
@@emrebatur54 You just press and hold the light buttons for a few seconds until LT or A.El lights on the display. And to turn off you just press and hold until LT disappears.
They're both from the same series/family. Depends on your design preferences really. I prefer this one today because it is new and I already had the GA110 before.
I love this look, but too bas it's not connectable by Bluetooth, and timer is poor, and toi low light on this ! 'Cause i'd really like to choose this model but with ALL capacités of GBA-,800
@@gshockhighfashion It is really noticable. I wore mine all day and when I walked in my house, the light was dim and my whole wrist was glowing basically. It wasn't even completely dark. That's how I found out it glows. I was like "holy cow"!!!
I don't know, all the mixing of different designs, all the jack-of-all-traits if you're looking for a high end g-shock.... leaves this a very busy design. I think I'd be fed up with the looks fairly quickly.
This is a watch with nice design. Looks good certainly, but when I saw the fabric strap... eww! I can't imagine how smelly it will be after prolonged periods with perspiration. Fabric straps aren't practical as they are porous and will absorb impurities; the rubber ones are practical as they are non-porous and can be washed and dried instantly.
again no tide graph no tide reading in a 200M watch. Not much use for divers, surfers and fisherman and boating, watesports or sailing. It is just a bit more code to put tide function into the digital panel it cant be that difficult for a billion dollar company like Casio.
@@gshockhighfashion yes but Glide watches are not great , too simplistic and plastic looking compared with this or other Gshocks. Also alot the Glide watches are huge. alot Glide watches are all digital also , not many analog+digital. Like I said, if Casio just added the tide function in all their watches , it could be in the digital panel easily in the analog watches , then Casio would have a huge market share suddenly and alot more sales . This is why new great design watches like Weret are coming out with watersports watches. Analog with tide. It would be so easy for Casio to add the tide function even if it was just in the digital panel.
I got a headache watching this review.. common buddy, we need some static views as well with slow zoom in and out. Too much of rotatory animation in your video helped me trigger a migraine! I loved the watch though..
That's a whole lot of useless over complicated shapes to pack in dirt and grime. Probably designed by a whole team of yes men who wouldn't know how to use a shovel if they couldn't google it. Ugly and pointless design. Casio needs to stop reinventing the wheel and start refining it. Thanks for the quality videos though!
Complicated shapes had always been on a gshock since the 90s and they had been trapped dirt since then. Nothing changes. Just different design inspiration made for different people
Ugly AF. Especially that hipster useless strap. Too chunky. Also those 4 screws guarding the dial look so out-of place. The best Gshock so far (in terms of size, price, features and specs) is, obviously the GA-2110SU-9A aka CasiOak.
You have a point regarding the strap,,altough it glows in the dark 😀,ha ha..one ugly strap,reminds on the g squad color strap combination,but boy,they made a mistake .
@Djordje Caranovic No, it does not glow in the dark (I wasn't able to see a damn thing when that "feature" was demonstrated in the video). It reflects light (like the traffic signs). Well, that's another story.

Function focus, GBDH1000 still wins. This new one is mostly for fashion accessory. If you already have the others.

It’t perfectly fine. Why would you even want to read the lcd-screen in any other position than straight ahead with the watch on your wrist?
Only if you got the black negative displays. This green one and positive display version is okay. Not that good, just okay. I can use it.

Well, most G-Shock owner didn't use cloth band as often and the glow aren't that noticeable unless you really focus on it in pitch black room
