I have hard time understanding goals, ideas. And maybe for me the question is not purpose, meaning of life, ....its like I dont get it, why we here, or at least why I am here. Why is it the way it is, ...some gurus like Isho say lose your mind, drop it. So we have a mind to drop it, ..yes I understand to learn how to use it, its limitations, not trying to drink lava with your hands - absurd. Does everything this tell that we are deeply hypnotized and manipulated as a society. Plato allegory of the cave. Seeing the shadows that are projected...and now we doubt and start questioning...but as you try to escape the mind - the matrix the mind - matrix will hunt you, trick you. It will not give up that easily. I mean its all like in the Matrix movie, Neo is everyone trying to awake, escape the Matrix - the programming, conditioning.
I see things this way as well. It’s a really strange reality that we’re existing in… Your Lilith placement sounds perfect for revealing the actual truth of things to society, so I’m not surprised that this would be a focus for you.

I feel I had both experiences. Started by conforming because I felt I had to growing up to get what I needed. Then went the complete opposite direction once I realised how much I was being manipulated. I see the late degrees of it in the 11th as being a sign that I would outgrow it progressively.
That's if you consider progressions as being relevant, I know it could be that I flipped the 29th degree of my Lilith and just became an extreme non-conformist. That theory works too!
I've definitely got this energy wrong in the past and still sometimes do get into trouble by being as honest as I am.
I did have a thought earlier about duality. I am a Leo and my 6th house is in Aquarius.. I feel like something about Aquarius is so important to Leo's.. because they do need an audience.. a certain level of attention.. and Aquarius feels like that constant presence looking towards them, even if they're not very close to them... the fact they aren't so close helps to satisfy a Leo's real need to be acknolwedged, but there's enough space that it's not a smothering kind of attention.
At the same time, maybe Leo's can suffer from not having enough true intimacy with an Aquarius... but it does work on some level, the sustenance provided by an Aquarius.. a kind of benign onlooker, you might say!
I found what you said near the end really inspiring. And yes, I do have this issue of having a hard time focusing on very basic, personal desires. I give so much for.. sometimes very little. And it's often a problem. So I want to sort this out soon.
Im glad you found it inspiring! It sounds cheesy, but I really see authenticity in every moment as the answer to everything, especially when it comes to this balance. I love your way of looking at the dynamic between Aquarius and Leo, as the audience and the one on display. I don’t think about this axis enough. All I have going on in either energy is my Saturn in the 11th opposite Chiron in the 5th, so it’s a tough one for me. But I think this is a pretty fitting and natural energy for Lilith to be expressed through, so I like it a lot.

I agree on the authenticity thing, this is especially important for anyone who got used to people-pleasing or pandering to others growing up.
The only issue is society often instils this sense of inauthenticity into its very fabric! So Lilith has real power for addressing it.
I read some astrologers/tarot readers talking about erotic living as a way to consider the importance of authenticity. Erotic being more than just sexual, a full embrace of your own truth. I enjoy this line of thinking, whatever form it takes!

Aries risings are so naturally independent too, it can be really tough to make the compromises that can be necessary for friendship. As an Aries rising with Saturn in the 11th, I totally get you. I know there’s deep significance in connecting, but it can be so overwhelming. I hope for your luck in this lifetime though!!
