Hi hera lord snow here thanks for all the insights will try to implement all the suggestion in my game
Hey man! Would you like to play together sometime? If you don't mind ofc.
@@yashvardhan549sure would like to play a few ranked 2v2 will be new for me
Both sides ended up with 2K wood. Spent that wood on more production buildings. If yellow made 10 more stables, he could have spammed 50 light cav in 4 minutes and crushed blue's economy. If blue made 10 barracks he could have spammed halbs for days and defended cost effectively until he could build up his Savar to attack with.
thank you. I constantly find myself selling that res if I'm not going to spend it. make more buildings and make more army.
As someone who's still struggling with Hard AI, the expanding thing is a huge advice. Thank you, Hera
“Don’t let the veterans scary the recruits” 😂😂
Nice story to remember a top strategy
1:18 Yes, Mongols were historically friendly.
he did clarify they were unfriendly to their opponents
The resource floating hurts to watch. Blue is just dying yet has 1500 stone, a couple castles and the lancers do nothing. Yellow doesn't want to lose his army so he isn't raiding but he has 50 light cav worth of food he doesn't use.
Naw, you get bank interest for extra resource stockpile with their unique tech.
(The More You Know)
Love the coaching content brotha
I kinda feel like (as a 702 with only 10 games of ladder under my belt) that execution is the big key for me. I'm trying to be diligent about keeping an eye on my villager creation and am working on this playing against AI. It's good to hear that if our fundamentals are sound, improvement will follow (hopefully!). Also at the end, thank you for mentioning the lines of attack. In chess, the saying goes "If attacked on the flanks, counter in the center (and vice versa)". For a new player, that is tough to remember sometimes and I am working on that too. Thank you, this has given me some great ideas.
you will get there my freind very early days for you and your already thinking about how to improve, awsome!
3:56 One thing you can do while waiting on massing 3-4 scouts, is to have the scout do some scouting.
4:22 😅😅🤣
Blue teching LC at 18:40 with 1300 gold and no camels in the queue is wild.
Why are you not Leech anymore? :(
I really loved that jokename. And I saw you genuinely laughing too
11:55 i was gonna say why not make a wooden gate on that deleted wooden wall... 10 secs later, the enemy army comes through that gap.
Persian player did a dogshit attack so no much harm was done, but still.
15:54 Mongol player had a perfect opportunity to place a castle on a high ground mountain near the Persian base, could also protect those vils on forward gold since they are exposed and no vision buildings are built around.
Also ofc, using those fresh army units to either attack from another flank or secure the castle/gold i just talked about.
What lost blue the game IMO was the idle time early on his TCs. His second TC goes up at 23:30 in-game, but he doesn't produce from them consistently despite having more than enough food. Then at 27:11 in-game he completes his third TC, a big investment of resources and villager time at that point, and essentially idles all 3 of them for over a full minute. They're Persian TCs too, so he should have had a fairly sizable eco lead already by the 29 minute mark, and with at least equal army numbers, would have been in a good position to snowball.
Steppe lancers have never been balanced. They have either been A. Incredibly strong where they kill everything. or B. So incredibly useless that no one makes them. Really poor unit design that the devs added into the game
I think the problem is the + 1 range for them which does all the problem. That leads to stacking. Take that away and then they'd be useless. Even light cav would be better. But if you keep that range, then that leads to stacking.
Steppe lancer speed is too fast. They can run away from knights and even camels, so they cannot be countered. If you have knights and camels to defend, they simply run away, build up more units and come back to attack.
1:20 It's called "busted evil OP bullshit"
Really good game to review for the average player. Feel like this is what I do. Well played lord snow! Your watch has ended
How can you zoom out so much. I got a QHD monitor but I am unable to zoom out to this extent whilst playing
He's casting it (as opposed to playing) using Capture Age, and you can zoom out to see the whole map, but when you're playing you can't do that
Mongols and Persians are the reason why I shy away from playing Arabia.
GOOD GAME
I do seem to be seeing this a lot lately.
I swear I’ve seen this lord snow guy from t90 am I losing my mind?
Think that was "john snow" but I cou|d be wrong.
I mean considering T90 posted a Lord Snow vid 4 days ago, I'd say that's a good bet.... 💀
@@idk.who.am.i I thought that was John snow like the other guy said
I checked and there was a guy called JonSnow and lord snow t 90 did videos on.
Just amazing I have 2 games casted in 1 week 1 by t90 and one by hera
Whenever it is avaible just spam it
i didnt even watch the video yet i just wanna say mongols is OP
Im a stble 800 elo, right now Im at 700 owr 600 but I have beaten this Lord Snow multiple times on the ladder, nice to see he is now at 1200. Im pretty sure I still can beat him. I leave multiple games and dont play multiple games correct since I like to play doing something else in my second always
No way 800 Beats anyone around 1200. I am 1100 and I eat 800 for breakfast. No disrespect intended, I’m just saying it’s really really hard to Believe
@@nabiljimenez848 Given the populairty of Game of Thrones, there are about 10 accounts with versions of Lord Snow /John Snow on the ladder. Perhaps he ran into a different player with the same/similar name.
@@nabiljimenez848 lets play please
@@1pinosos1 that does make sense but style was similar
@@nabiljimenez848 commented my steam on a video of yours, im eager to test myself with a better player
I never understand why people are so bad at walling...
Reviewing is completely different. All explored, not focusing on mastering the age you are in but just watching the overall..
I have found that 9/10 times if you are not sure where to wall it's better to go towards a side edge. Usually you will get some woodline to help and if it's a bit more walling.. well atleast you got some more secure map. Circle walls are just dated style.
@@Calgaryman10 Not always the case. I once thought I could wall to the edge but there was nothing behind the fog of war. I kept on building, building, and building and never got fully walled. It really depends on map generation.
@@PrasenjeetKumarAuthor Yes, sometimes no luck but as I said 9/10 chance. Atleast that huge wall gives you more safety area so it's not totally lost resources. Also, that can likewise happen when you go circle wall. Then you have small safety are and lost a lot of resources. Just look at this game.
@@Calgaryman10 well, at 1:37 the forest to the North was already explored. One could assume by simply looking at the map that the gap is rather small. I mean, it is certainly smaller than the wall of china which was constructed just shortly after 1111
