i really like Hobao, still dont h ave one Lol. I almost got a Hyper SST when i saw how cheap spare parts are at JennysRC, hopefully theyll start stocking the VTE parts soon

Missed the rear blocks are 4 mm wider no camber in the rear with throughshaft dog bones now she sits way better in the rear
Great video James and have not watched all of them but I did not see you mention use of a ripple killer , is that something you do not run ?
I dont run a ripple killer on any of my xlx2 esc's, it's unnecessary with this esc

I got 1 run on my vte2 !!!!!! On the maiden run had a radio malfunction and the car hit a concrete curb at about 100 mph. Not good

Yes , I was the first to hit 200mph with the Hobao which was also the first Gt car to ever make the 200mph speed
Can you use these chassis as a basher? Does it handle well? Thats my only concern as its mostly speed orientated
Not a basher car....performance car....drag racing speed running
Most drag guys take those flaps off....just unnecessary weight..

You think that motor mount will accommodate a 49mm motor or even a 50+mm motor.?
the version 1 of the vte2 mount was a pain, so i swopped it out for something much better.
