Hi .. a little info - "You Make Me Feel So Young" is a 1946 popular song composed by Josef Myrow, with lyrics written by Mack Gordon.[1] It was introduced in the 1946 musical film Three Little Girls in Blue, where it was sung by the characters performed by Vera-Ellen and Charles Smith (with voices dubbed by Carol Stewart and Del Porter).[2] The song was recorded by Frank Sinatra in 1956,
How can you not feel in a completely different way when Angelina Jordan takes on a melody and gives it monumental meaning. AJ is the Leonardo DaVinci of song, and her pallet is the omnibus color of sound.
You are correct , Sir. She adapted this to her original song Million Miles in a very subtle way. You realize her Grandfather is watching from the Moon and she's responding.
Yes, this is a male/female duet. I know Frank Sinatra sang this song with whom I believe was with Nancy Sinatra. Simply amazing that Angelina covers both so beautifully.
Angelina takes us back in time to the 50’s/60’s and shows us how it is was done back then :-) Such a lovely song and by doing this she makes us feel so young!
Not only did Angelina make this fun by alternating registers, but she nailed the 1940’s big band vibe so easily and comfortably. Her low register is just amazingly full and resonant. What a pleasure to hear a great singer paying respect to another era, but, as always, making the song hers.
The World has waited a long time for Angelina and it was well worth the wait , love her beautiful voice or voices and of course her beautiful Heart spreading love every where she goes and with everything she touches . Thanks Britt X
It is generally thought that she is covering a duet by Frank and .....? Covering both parts, her dress and hair right out of the 50's. This to me is one of her most under appreciated covers, just makes me smile every time! 💖
Her singing makes us all feel so young, spectacularly beautiful, especially how she made it into a duet, love your reaction Britt, you were blown away, me too hehe 🖖
Her love for retro songs and singing styles is so infectious. This jazz swing from the classic crooners is solidly in her lane. But is there any style that's proven to not be in her lane? This arrangement sounds like she's doing a duet with Frank. I think another reactor did a mash up of that. Good reaction. Thank you.
This song is from a movie in the 1940's - Three little girls in blue. Perhaps that would explain the blue dress and the 1940's hair style. In the movie it's a duet. Frank Sinatra did a comedy version of this with his daughter. Angelina puts her own spin on this and brings new life to it.
Great reaction Britt. I remember Dino Spumoni on Hey Arnold. I watched it with my kid. Unfortunately the character did not sing this song in particular but it was the same style. Angelina can take you back in time and have you snap your fingers to the rhythm of the music like Frank Sinatra did in the days. Thank you for this.
All the songs from the 40s/50s and 60s Angelina is the absolute Queen, there is no singer who reproduces and tells these songs better than her, Bouble will excuse me🙂, but I think so, here she is simply wonderful, thanks Britt, good life Massimo
Britt I absolutely love your sweet and spontaneous facial expressions when reacting to Angelina, thanks for another great reaction. Her vocal play in recreating the duel between Frank and Nancy is of incredible fluidity and harmony, as well as perfect.💛 🧡 ❤
It's interesting what memories people associate with the songs Angelina covers - even with cartoons. This one is often mistaken for a Sinatra cover as Frank has performed it many times and there is also a duet with Nancy (but with adapted lyrics). There's even a wonderful match-up: ruclips.net/video/zizWgW440fQ/видео.html . But in fact Angelina goes way back to the original here - as so often - and this is a duet from the musical film "Three little girls in blue" - that's probably why the dress and certainly the hairstyle. The movie was released in 1946, but the plot of the movie was set into 1902. In the movie the duett was sung by the characters performed by Vera-Ellen and Charles Smith (with voices dubbed by Carol Stewart and Del Porter), tune composed by Josef Myrow, lyrics written by Mack Gordon. Here's the original ruclips.net/video/-q85apiL7oI/видео.html Love the big band sound from the swinging 40s. Angelina is 13 years old here, her ability to sing both parts is so impressive.
Lets just say the music genie gave the world one wish, and the world wished for this child, Angelina Jordan. To my fellow angels, use the phrase, just remember the author. Hi Brit! Love you.
What a great reaction Britt to 13 Angelina. I'm so glad you noticed the kind of duet style she sang it in. Frank Sinatra and daughter Nancy Sinatra sang this together also and some others. This song was originally from the mid 50s and you can see that Angelina did her hair and clothes in the era of the song 🎵. Thank you for reacting to it. Did fifigure out how low she got, it's a A2-G2. In concert she has got low as C3 but she been down in to the cellar 8n the 2nd octave before. Now that she's getting older, you just never know if she could get even lower. Angie is amazing and she's only 13 here. God bless you sweetie 🙏 ❤😀👍
Yes Britt I loved your reaction on this too. I would love to here you do a Reaction on Angelina singing, How Great Tho Art. It is another Elvis presley cover. It is stunning in low register. Steve from NZ
Britt, "I think that was intentional?" Let's see, how I can I say this? "Yes!" Britt, when you listen to other singers too much that's when you might question what Angelina is doing because no one else can do what she does. By the end of the song you were back in the groove and, as usual, I had a big smile on my face. You're the best!
Wonderful. I did a little search on Wikipedia: first release was in 1946 as a musical duet performed by Vera-Ellen and Charles Smith (never heard of them, sorry) and in 1956 is was recorded by Frank Sinatra. When I see Angelina in this video I think that she has the oldest version in mind.
I remember Sinatra singing this in a duo with a female singer. Here, Angelina uses her low register ability to emulate what sounds like a back and forth between two singer like Sinatra did.

"Dino Spumoni," hey? ... Don't know the much about Nichoelodeon, but you got your reference there pretty good, Britt. Dino Spumoni, no doubt, refers to Dean Martin (Italian American with Anglicized surname) He was a member of the famous Rat Pack that included Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Joey Bishop, and I think Peter Lawford was a member' Neolithic Hollywood bad boys. Hey Britt! Great reaction! I'm not familiar with the cartoon you mentioned. From the musical genius mind of Angelina
