Arizona Hot Springs Hike Jan 2024

This hike is very beautiful. Extremely Strenuous!! It is not for the faint. Its very amazing but I would take another person with you if you do hike. I had few hair raising experiences, I almost could not get back up the mountain solo. It really challenges you!! Bring lots of water, food for the day. I am not sure how the people can sit in the hot springs and then walk back up it. I met another hiker, he said another woman describes it as the " 7 oh shits" LOL. The water is extremely hot the first pool. The hiker told me there are four pools. Each pool further out gets cooler. Arizona hot springs is one of the hottest springs and they do not know why. I was also informed you do not need a bathing suit. The hiker told me its known around the globe when isolated locations clothing are optional. Noted lol As you can hear my surprise seeing the the mens hiking clothes when I get to the Springs. Be very very cautious when doing this hike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be safe! Be Smart!
