@@shotslife A day or two. Grady Whites are a "high end production boat" but the issues that you have been dealing with are fairly common on their older models. Let's just say that they keep me fed...lol. Keep up the good work Chief. I look forward to seeing your Corvette in it's place of honor in your new shop.
I started out watching the $10.00 boat but being a veteran also I just can't get enough of your videos. Your content keeps me satisfied in all your endeavors. God Bless you and your family. Looking forward to future videos.
That Nathan fella is a genius. It took me a year to figure out not to buy gifts for my wife, she would say “that’s nice” and ask for the receipt later. I learned to buy a few flowers, a card and put cash or a gift card inside. I came for the boat, that’s like clickbait for me, I stayed for the other interesting content. Like that POS Corvette. ;)
Great video. You're 100% right. As soon as you get out of that hole the rest will go faster and be a lot kinder to your back, joints, and wardrobe! I came for the boat, and have loved the garage, bus, truck, etc. I think my favorite non-boat video was when you were helping out with the neighborhood playground. My work week ends with me relaxing while watching your videos. You've turned into the neighbor I've always wanted. Take care and have a great week!
Thanks brother, we have some lots up for sale, come on down! Lol! Funny, I was thinking about that video today… I am putting in some benches with roofs over them and a new gate soon… so I was thinking about all the work we have done over there. See you next week brother! And tell “mini you” I said hello!!
Awesome to see you back in the boat. I am in about the same situation building 2 garages at the same time while restoring an 86 Grady Trophy 25 myself. I just rehung the motors this week. Hallelujah. Your videos have been a big help. I also bought a tank from Patriot Marine thanks to your referral. They were 3 weeks quicker and about $1000 cheaper than all the Florida based competitors. Keep at it and maybe one day you can get that thing to some big water.
Two garages!!! Wow that’s awesome, send me a picture of you Grady if you will, and any pics of you working on it, I’ll throw that in a video. People love seeing other boats. Thanks for supporting Patriot Marine Fabricating!! They are an awesome company.
Need to show the excavator work too. Your side job? Can't wait for the travel series. Came for boat, stayed for everything else. And you have that other piece of property that you left off after working on road! 24 hours not enough for you.
The boat brought me in, I binged it up to now, plus the big garage, it’s all good. Coincidentally I have gone through pretty much your same path 10 years back, my only regret is not building an outbuilding as big as yours. I originally thought a 36 X 48 was enough, not even close…already had to extend the back for the pusher, and in the winter when everything’s put away it’s pretty cramped…The Grady is looking great!
Hey Sir, well thanks for binging! It’s been fun for sure! I think buildings are never big enough! Lol… I remind myself, better to have everything inside and cramped then all sitting outside! You and I are both lucky to even have that problem! What kind of pusher did you end up with?
Keep in mind when fighting the spiders that the old mountain men used a handful of webs to staunch the blood when wounded. Might be handy to remedy the damage if the wife gets pissed at you!! Lol! You got enough stuff around that you could market the accumulated webs??? Make your fortune and build an even bigger shop.
@@shotslife plumbers use a simple cheap tub drain tool that might fit inside your through hulls. About $7-8. Fit some.not others. If you have any tubs in the house they can come in handy. Mine fit two different sizes but they make other styles as well. Check amazon for reference. Don't know if amazon is carrying spider webs by the pound but if not it won't be long.
Don't care what you are doing just like the show! Those scissors did a great job, what is the name of them I need a good pair for the shop Keep up the great work see you next week
PS: they make inside pipe wrenches which work perfect for removing through hulls and such to avoid scratching the gel coat. Another one of those tools you don't use often but when you need it it comes in very handy.
Dont worries Shot. I came to the channel thanks to the boat, but I watch all your content because its interesting, boat, barn, landscaping, it doesnt matter. Always fun/Nice to see your progress. Keep the great work up 👍 BTW the new boat didnt happen, it was way too bad contition so I had to back off. But there will be something for the sea soon 😂
Came in on the boat , but yeah all of your videos are fun and interesting too watch ! Question on the dodge , when this video was done was the bed on or off ! Are you doing that in a series of videos ? 🇺🇸
Hey brother, how you doing ? Heard a few grunts in this video. It's hell getting old ain't it ??? Lol had to get that one in. Heh heh. Just a word, maybe you already know this but that black mark from the side bunk rail can be removed with toilet bowl cleaner. In fact you can clean the whole boat with it and then just wipe it down with water afterwards. Just remember to wear rubber gloves. Then just wash and wax it as usual. As usual a hello to the missus and the pupper from me. Skip.
@@shotslife used it when I redid the bunks on several of my boats. Just thought I would pass on some of my knowledge. Also gets rid of calcium deposits on the gel coat.
There’s all ways the right tool! If it cost $2.00 then you would probably buy it. However any tool associated with the marine industry will cost you 3 to 5 times what it worth.
What’s the brand of ufo lights you have and wattage? Are you happy with them? I have a 60’ x 42’ x 16h shop going up next week and need to order lighting
Came for the boat, stayed because of your work and entertainment. 👍
Thanks Redpill, heck you have been with us for a long time now!

Thanks for taking us along for the ride with all your projects. The boat, garage, whatever.., fun to watch it all come together. Have a great day!
Thanks Mike! Thanks for being a part of it all!
I came for the boat but I watch them all and enjoy them alll! You do YOU!
Thanks Roger!

Yeah it’s kind of a side gig, I do things in the neighborhood… always more work than I want to do! Lol!
Hope you get paid for some of it. Or at least a trade of service or material. Like the big rocks neighbor had busted up you used for retailing wall

Nathan is awesome!!!
Yeah he is unbelievable, and you know I haven’t heard from him since then… sent him emails etc… very thankful!
That's what I did. Replaced all of the plastic thru hull with stainless.
Yeah, I think that is a smart decision!

Right! Seems that’s usually the case for sure $$$$
3n1 oil in the 2 oil holes on your fan will fix it for long time
Well, interesting I’ll do that for sure
Which brand of wireless mic do you like to use? Are you happy with it?
I don’t use one, they never worked for me

Hyper lite, I love them! 150 watt, send them an email with your size and they will send you a recommended on the number and where to place them.
I see a Big Ass Fan in your future in the garage.
I wish I could afford one! I have three electrical boxes up there for fans in the future… did you know big ass fans were made right near me?

Abit of a p take Kev the guy sends you premium scissors and you resort to crappy 2$ ones (ON CAMERA) 😔 I bet you really hurt his feelings
