Fished that peg a few times, i all a little sloppy paste to my sloppy micros to get a cloud in the water with either maggots of 4-6mm expanders,you can catch 100lb just with a topkit. I hope the wind behaves, its a know pole smashing venue. You can have you sections on 2 rollers safe and sound, next second you hear carbon cracking.The wind can lift 16m of pole off your rollers.

Good video showing the difficulties with trying to catch fish when they are in suicide mode. I think 118Lbs was a very good result for 2nd in Match. I know we all know the Fisho result but well done anyway. Good insight on how to rotate the areas in the swim to try and get the best out of it. Well done Jamie.

Does anyone use the matrix mtx1 13mtr pole or the 8.7 matrix margin pole? How good are the for the money?
Very good, if you go to one of the big retailers they should have a pole alley so you can compare them to poles in a similar price range, we think you will be impressed
spot on mate, when I started pole fishing seriously I got 8.7 pole had it for a year had no issues light but strong, not just a margin pole happerly used it in open water, them got the mtx1 13 mtr pole Iam am very impressed comes ready bushed well worth the money does everything I need it to do, comes with 2 power kits and a cupping kit

I fished Skylark lake at Westwood a few weeks back. It was much the same. Quite a few dead fish too.
@@paulsugarman9753Really sad to hear about fish dying. Something’s not right when arguably the best angler in Britain struggles not to foul hook fish. No wonder Jamie enjoyed his red letter day fishing for grayling, compared with catching on commercials
