It wasn’t that long ago that the fear and vulnerability that was being felt for generations in the LGBTQ2S community seemed to be slowly easing.
Yet, tonight we have another sobering reminder of the hate and open aggression that still exists.

Burlington Centre, didn't even have a Canada Day display anywhere only the pride display! Unbelievable! Not sure why the LGBT community is insisting on forcing their beliefs on others. You can do your thing in private, no need for flags or microphones. May I ask how you see it? I think that some (social) transition and experimenting has helped children and lowered suicide rates. There's no magic evil doctor cutting off kids' body parts. There's just things like "I want to wear a hat" or "I think I'll try this name for a bit to see if it's right for me," not permanent factors. I live in America, so that may change things on my end. I actually would really like to hear your side of the coin.
Why is this such a big deal in America? In many others countries, people from the LGBT community are just another part of society.
