They think they've been blessed with golden information that allows the truth to be told. Thus, they want to tell others about that truth and think of anyone who denies it as "naive" and "child like" and often call them sheeple. They have a superiority complex from this "research" and "truth" they've found, it's sad really.

Rick Van Dam no one was interrupting anybody tbh, the guy called her out and she responded by addressing the mayor saying she needed to respond at which point the guy said, “I’m gonna involve you here in a minute.” So interruption is not really an issue here.
The issue is the guy spoke to her in a very disrespectful manner, and even said, “When I want you to stop talking I’ll hold my hand up just like the mayor does.” As if he had the same authority in that situation as the mayor. He showed blatant disregard for decorum, and all signs for why point to bigotry.

People don’t understand that people are only allowed to have their own freedom of speech and viewpoints if it doesn’t remove from anyone else’s rights or representation. Amnesty International does a good job of explaining this in their article on freedom of expression.

Pretty much all the hate i've seen is *against* LGBT+, and while I have seen some people complain that straight white males are the most "evil creature" (average twitter user, there's nothing to do about a room-temp iq)
But - especially in the context of the above video - it's being used to show solidarity with a community that is not just marginalized, but *also* is a part of their state, as they've done with OTHER communities in their state.

Just because you hear or see conservative media pull up some liberal school living in some district to throw attacks at frame the left as extreme does not mean that that it is indicative of the entirety of the LGBT community. They are people too.
The fact of the matter is that there is still huge stigma around people of LGBT background and identity and for many in this community, it’s quite unbearable. This isn’t about pushing a leftist agenda and indoctrinating our schools, this is about representation.

Ya I don’t agree with the flag being up but that’s not a reason I think it’s stupid to be embarrassed to explain a group of people to your children who will live in society along with these people. I think the concern is more of having to explain to a child the different sexualities of people which would be brought up by the flag.
