    I like the sound of baler, the music is in rhyme with the baler.

    This could have kept me in the business of haying. Getting workers become too much of a hassle , so I parked the equipment and stopped. Round bales are easier but you don't make near the money off them as with square bales.

    I would skip wrapping if the hay is dry enough

      After using balage hay for 15 yrs...I would have baled it before it was that dry. No leaf loss.. much higher quality ! Id never bale hay dry again !

    I thought that the reason people used this smaler bales was because they are easier to store. Anyone who prefers to wrap them a leave them outside sure has long and deep pockets. Lol

      What some people will do to avoid touching a bale of hay, looks insanely slow and the amount of plastic needed,wow!

    How heavy is this machine? Can the press be able to withstand that weight?

    I well suspect the waste plastic finishes up at landfill in India or in China for some poor peasant to sort. Some of todays ideas dont sit too well with me, but what do i know

    Holy crap, why do they mummify the bales in all that plastic wrap? wouldn't a couple of wraps do the job?

    • @Bayside1320
      @Bayside1320 9 лет назад +5

      +bearbon2 A couple wraps up to 4 is good for dry bales( 14%), however for high moisture above (17%) 10 wraps helps complete fermentation and not molding.. we do (65%) and the protein levels are around 20% on the high moisture compared to less than 12% for dry bales..

    im not an activist but is the wraping recycled or added to the land fill or burned

    • @Bayside1320
      @Bayside1320 9 лет назад +1

      +Dennis Huss Yup it's recyclable.. they just want it clean like a pop bottle when your turn it in.

    • @williambeattie8554
      @williambeattie8554 8 лет назад +2

      +Dennis Huss Most of the wrapping is recyclable, but it is up to the individual farmer to decide. We recycle all of ours through Solway recycling. They turn it into all kinds of things.
