- Hundreds of mourners gathered in Freeport, Pennsylvania, Friday to remember 50-year-old Corey Comperatore, as he was laid to rest. Comperatore, a retired firefighter, was killed in the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Charlie De Mar reports.

The family of Corey Comperatore should sue the secret service and the police department according to the evidence of the police being aware of the shooter's presence and yet did nothing to secure the people. The law authorities knew of the danger but only stood there waiting for fate to happen to then do their job a minute too late.

The main concern is not the sites he was on... It's how he knew that roof was ok to be on... Why no police stopped it when they were alerted before the shooting, why the secret service had him in their scope 30 min before the shots... And how he got off 8 shots before they shot him

I noted the Light of Christ in his eyes the first time I saw his photograph and knew right away that he was an excellent man, filled with love for others and an example to us all.

Yes... secret service plans in advance of events and those plans usually don't assume everything will go well and nobody will get hurt, that's why the plans exist. Were you implying that this was somehow planned or faked? That sounds like a dangerous conspiracy theory... we wouldn't want to spread dangerous conspiracy theories now, would we? After all, when those on the political right suggest anything that might be a conspiracy theory, social media companies censor and minimize the reach of that content, and Ivy League schools publish articles in scholarly journals detailing all the ways in which engaging with conspiracy theories is a coping mechanism for those of low intelligence to feel as though they possess some "Secret" or "Special" knowledge only available to the elite of society.

Biden offered his condolences to the family, but the widow refused to speak with him because she did not want to go against her husband's wishes. It is still unclear if Trump has offered his condolences yet, which speaks volumes about the two candidates. One has empathy, and the other has a distinct lack of empathy.

Now do Biden hosted a fundraiser in NYC whereas Trump was invited and attended the funeral wake of NYPD Jonathan Diller on the same day.
You and we don't know all the details but a member of the Trump family was in attendance to give their respects in person. I think it may have been Barron due to his absence at the RNC.
