Koji will slide the paper that says "do you like me" to Del Toro, and Del Toro'll circle "yes" with a heart.
@7:10 pat's dumb mouth strikes again. he's playing the lullaby cliff sings to baby sam, not the american national anthem.
Ah but what if BB Lou is actually future/past/time is a circle Amalie and thus BBs theme is America's theme.
The anthem of the UCA and president stand.
I love how your correction makes the scene even dumber than it already was. Lmao.
Hear me out...
what is a guitar if not just a stick with ropes on it?
TO BE FAIR Del Toro is like the one guy in Hollywood who would probably fuck with Kojima's weird shit. I mean, didn't he say he liked metal gear or am I crazy?
They both have a similarly crazed obsession with their inspirations. They probably became kindred spirits when Silent Hills was still a thing
people seem to think kojima is just paying these directors to hang out but like. thats the most messed up part: they genuinely all also think kojima is a genius. hes not a fan hanging out with his heroes, hes a writer/director hanging out with his peers, to THEM.
@@mattb6616 I mean I'm sure there's some people who are just with him for that, but I can totally see Jordan Peele and Del Toro going like "Kojima-San, Metal Gear Solid on the PS1 changed the way I thought of video games", and the rest is history
Don't forget Refn
I really don't mind criticizing Kojima, he is definitely a niche game director, HOWEVER, I am glad he broke off from Konami and was picked up by Sony. he's really thriving there and he seems like a genuinely good guy so props to him. He's living the dream
13:32 We see the ship sinking in tar so i assume it wil be the in game excuse for fast travel BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, WOOLIE. The ship is called DH something somethin, DH SOUNDS LIKE DE AGE, Fragile is not wrinkled anymore and Sam isn't white haired SO THE SHIP WILL SOMEHOW DE AGE BOTH
Which is why she said she's "Just Fragile by name" because her body is not fragile anymore.
Metal Gear Solid 5 is not toned down at all the whole plot centers around bodysnatchers and a floating, teleporting, psychic child mind controlling a 50 foot tall walking robot in 1986 Africa for a zombie man who never existed that is attempting to delete all languages.
funny thing is, playstation apparently DOES have a portable console coming with an AMD apu
13:00 Cant believe they got pats son in the game, lol
I love Death Stranding as a post apocalyptic world where everyone needs to figure out Kojima's bullshit to survive.
From what I've seen from his Instagram account, Kojima is friends with at least six movie directors. Which is far more than David Cage can say for himself... wop wop
Woolie with the zinger!
Kojima made his own what if X country was a villain like those fucking AI videos
Goddamn the Ha and Ka shit did critical damage to Woolie.
I can listen to these idiots talk about Kojimbo for hours and not get tired of it.
I think the young woman and the baby voice in the robot samurai are Lou's Ha and Ka
Since we're going to Mexico in this one, we're getting a sombrero and a poncho......... Canada? Well.....
Kojima as a Persona-protagonist in Hollywood Highschool
It just dawned on me that Kojimbo is reaching Lynch levels of insanity with Death Stranding.
Konami was holding him back so much.
KOJIMA FLOW
Don't forget, guitars have six strands on them.
I'm disappointed the electric electric guitar axe doesn't play Thunderstruck as it shoots lightning.
Classic Pat, confidently get all the details wrong, Higgs plays BBs theme, not the American national anthem, unless Kojima infiltrated further into our culture than I know and got our anthem changed, you gotta get your ears checked.
He's Canadian. How many national anthems do you know by heart?
@@johnrivers3813I could sing you two of them by heart but RUclips would delete my comment if I did.
I dont think Pat realizes that LOU is a repatriate.
The ending basically confirmed this.
Also how she(?) comes back after the voidout in the beginning.
Well Kurt Russell does have his Son Kurt Rusell Jr. Aka Captain America.... I mean US Agent? 😂
31:56 in all reality, I’ve seen a lot of dubs straight up change the meaning of scenes due to word choice
I want him to go back to Policenauts.
I him to go back to Policenauts because there was high quality anime titties in that game and *NOBODY* draws them, because literally nobody played that shit.
DS1 got like 6 trailers so there's probably like 4 more of these coming
Kojima getting to make a second DS game and going HAHA like pat said, but its that one Limmy video Frosty Jacks.
"I don't think Kojima has seen Dracula Flow"
Why? It's explicitly Kojima coded. It's a thing the generation who engaged with it think is a masterpiece, while everyone with gainful employment and a real fucking job who saw it doesnt understand it and chalks it up to american crime culture.
The only way it could be *more* Kojima coded is if there was a mostly naked girl on the girl, doing gravure poses, with his name plastered on every surface.
He's got a good plug. That's all I know.
Someone really thought. "Humble Kojima"
Death Stranding was humble Kojima.
Kojima is just trying to befriend his heroes. Don't be hard on the guy hahahahah
I mean how many of us can say that we're friends with our idols?
Why call the ninja Raiden when he’s more GrayFox
Because he sounds like a baby.
Sam Lake is a writer so Kojima can be a director.
David Cage is evil Kojima(French)
You didn't need the parenthesis for clarification, the point was clear already.
God damn I love Kojima so much.
