I just keep reminding myself, at least it wasn’t ALL their years & they’re so lucky to be in each other’s lives again let alone to have ever met one another with 200 years apart between them at all...

I cried my eyes out in this episode. The notion of it all being lost and the time gone by, and all of them gone...The feeling of loss and grief. I thought they cannot have this be how it all plays out, she must go back.

I cried my eyes out when I saw this scene. The acting was so over the top great that I felt like I was in Claire's place experiencing what she was feeling at that moment. Why they would give the best leading lady award to a so so actress that plays Super Girl on TV instead of giving the award to Cait Balf has got to have the WORST taste in the world. Plus it's a kid's show so you don't need to be able to act. In fact anyone could act in that role. But it takes lots of talent and experience for a person to do a great job in acting in a role in such a serious role as Outlander to pull off what Cait and Sam pull off in every scene all the time. I think they had better fire the person in charge of judging for the awards.

Alternative: 1:30 When she says "Jamie I", Jamie turns up and is like you what?.... Would have made a good scene however it would mean we wouldn't get the amazing episodes after this one. That's all have a nice day

the author was a bit harsh separating them for 20 damn years 😅 but Claire made a promise to Frank to never tell Brianna about Jamie not until Frank dies, and he died 18 years later…Clair was keeping status quo with their family for so long to raise Bree but erhh…still so damn long I bawled!

The truth is that Claire became the typical and obedient wife she never wanted to be. Yes, she became a doctor, but that was the only revolutionary thing she did in that period of her life. she obeyed Frank in everything else and that wasn't the Claire we met in the eighteenth century. She asked for a divorce, but she never fought for divorce. If Frank doesn't decide otherwise, she would still be married to him and would never have investigated what happened to Jamie. Her punishment is all the fear and insecurity she feels when realizes that Jamie has spent 20 years alive and could have fallen in love with someone else.
