These are very, very informative. It's good to listen to hear how the pros do it. I have a Dixieland group and we sing (or try to) sing harmony. I've developed a system for singing what I call "street harmony". It's just a bunch of hacks for doing two part and fake three part harmony. Here's one good hack for three part harmony. Ok, one guy sings the melody. The other two practice singing a ooooooh background on each chord. This is usually pretty easy since there is no melodic movement. Then the two oooohs shift to singing the just words and rhythm of the melody, staying on the oooooh melody notes. This double pedal point system works pretty well.

Can you please explain what notes they are singing in musical terms? What key is the song in? What notes is the main voice singing? What notes is the high voice singing? How far above the main voice is the high voice? This would be very helpful. Thanks!

You can do that or use reverb, a sound plate or echo. Im sure they did double track. Its either one or the other. Often both.
