After looking at 2 times, I think ya need more support for clutch lever and shifter; like more of a double shear bracket, needs to be more ridged. Wish I could help ya more, live in SW Fla.

I agree, I think the root problem is that there is something wrong with the clutch installation or it needs some kind of adjustment. I hope my late model buddy can stop over before the race to help me sort it out.

Like your build. Was curious to why you didn’t use a traditional Jacob’s ladder instead of the watts linkage? Looks very well laid out and built. Good luck on the race!!

Thanks man, the rear end housing wouldn’t allow for a traditional Jacob’s ladder since it’s a closed tube late model rear. Had to use that so I can have the limited slip differential.

@@johnfiore91 makes sense. Didn’t figure in the limited slip diff. I too have always wanted to do a sprint car up pikes peak, I went on vacation up there and got altitude sickness so I don’t think I could do it. I’ll stick to my dirt stuff locally for fun as I’m getting older and would not ever have the funds anyway. I look forward to watching your Journey. 👍👍👍
